Todd Ellis is a seasoned chef extraordinaire. Known locally for his outstanding BBQ at a former business he worked at, Todd brings creativity, quality, and music together for an exceptional experience. Limited parking on site, but enough within 50-100 feet. Plan on a relaxing and friendly time. My friend and I split a Philly cheese steak and a meatball parm sub, and each of us had a homemade lemonade. The Philly was legit. Shaved beef, Whiz, crispy onion and cooked onion, it rocked! The meatballs were perfectly cooked, covered in a homemade marinara and just the right amount of cheese. You'll thank me later. Go. Enjoy!

Inside: Pick a spot to sit. We got there right as it opened, so it was pretty much "sit and we'll serve you." Two rooms - one is loud and built for music sets (maybe karaoke or other type nights also), the other was by the kitchen but also by the door, the counter, and... straight sightline to the bathroom. Which has two doors, by the way, one to the restaurant and one to the back. I was tempted to go out the back when I was done just for fun. Anyway, that's not why we came. We came for the food. Since this was a date, my mind was not fully on what I was eating, but I remember I thoroughly enjoyed it. Daily specials, beginning of Lent meant some non-meats, so an interesting selection that will change every time you visit. My date, not impressed as much. I do want to take both of our impressions into account, along with the atmosphere that needs some improvement. 4 stars feels like the right answer.

From the moment we sat down, Dee made us feel completely taken care of. She's an exceptional bartender--knowledgeable, fast, and genuinely fun to talk to. She remembered our drink preferences after the first round and even suggested a couple of off-menu twists that were spot-on. The food was excellent too. Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious, well-seasoned, and plated with care. What really stood out, though, was how much attention Dee paid to the little things. She checked in at just the right times, noticed when we were ready for another round before we even flagged her down, and kept the whole experience smooth without ever feeling rushed or overlooked. It's rare to find someone who combines incredible drink-making skills with that level of genuine hospitality and detail-oriented service. Dee elevates the entire place. We'll be back specifically because of her. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and letting Dee take care of you. You won't be disappointed. place is amazing! Dee is by far the best!

We stopped by on a saturday and it was completely different and seems to have set up a restaurant in the old tasting room. It looked very good. Warm woods and natural beams. This was the last positive thing in our visit. A sign said to wait to be seated so we did. I looked around the menu seemed limited to different types of sandwiches but ok, nice snack for a late afternoon. Looked for be around $15 so normal price range. We were still waiting to beseated. There wasn't much in the way of business. maybe two people seated at the bar and two-three others at tables. Still, nobody greeted us or even so much as a 'be with you in a moment.' Kept looking around, no sign of wines made in the winery. not sure if it's still running or if it's been turned into an event venue but we were giving it every chance. The place has only limited hours to be open. It showed a limited menu and there was no way the place could have been called busy. For all the attentiveness of the staff, we didn't exist and with no one by the door I'm not sure what someone could have walked off with. Heck maybe there was a server there and she got stolen. In the end we left. Our last visit had been disappointing, but we were willing to give them another try. Against all odds this 2nd try was even more disappointing. It has limited hours and even then, the staff still can't be bothered to even say 'hello.' Save your time and give your money to a place that actually wants to greet it's customers

I found the bartenders outside to be very responsive, attentive, and helpful - I was never lacking for something to sip on. I recently decided to stop drinking alcohol, and it's pretty accommodating to that choice - seltzer at the ready, and a few mocktails on the menu! I ordered a virgin mojito, and it was great! Especially considering I can barely ever get a mojito anyway (yes, as soon as I decide to stop drinking, the first happy hour I attend has it available!). Food was not bad - we got a small spread of different appetizers, and I thought they were all pretty good. Nachos, a big taco thing, fried mac and cheese balls - decent bar food. With a name like Havana, one might expect it to be a Cuban spot, and in some ways it is (thanks again for the mojito!), but the menu was fairly mainstream. Overall a pretty good experience, I think, and I wouldn't be opposed to going again for another happy hour, though New Hope has lots of options! Parking was street-only, which was fine on a Tuesday evening, but I can imagine it being rough on a weekend.

Borrowing a move from Tiki bars, the Boathouse's nooks contain risque artwork! We were greeted by a friendly lady in a tiki robe, who gave us the option to sit outdoors, indoors (ground level with live music), or upstairs where the bulk of the artwork resides. We opted for upstairs. The space felt like a classy naval officer's club. The cocktail menu contained mostly classics and riffs on classics. I opted for the Smoked Honey Negroni with Barr Hill gin, and a Boulevardier. Both were very good. The Boulevardier - interestingly, was served neat in a brandy snifter glass. Our group also tried the French 75 and Last Word (Mezcal style). Cocktails were $16-$17, well-constructed, and sturdy. Service was friendly and unrushed - the perfect format for a relaxing evening. My one constructive suggestion is to replace the creaky wooden chairs upstairs and add more couches or cushioned chairs.

For this five star review, I want to slightly preface that perhaps a small portion of why my wife…read moreand I had such a splendid experience at The Boat House was because of our timing, but I'll come back to that shortly because regardless of when we were there, I did love so much about this place. Recommended by almost any local you ask, The Boat House sits in the quieter Lambertville side of the bridge that connect this Jersey town to the slightly more bustling New Hope, PA. Down an Edison-lighted alleyway you'll find this small house for boats and ya know, it probably was a house (not sure about for boats) because it's pretty dang small. The night we were there I noticed there's some outdoor tables available, but really the interior downstairs area only fits a handful of folks. The upstairs can hold a bit more and that is where our timing lies. Somehow, we must have been early/lucky enough to hit The Boat House on a Friday evening when everyone was still out to dinner because the very friendly host sat us upstairs where we had the entire place to ourselves for almost our entire time there. Having the space added such an extra vibe to everything, especially because those creaky steps lead up to what really gives The Boat House its name as the ceiling is covered in maritime memorabilia. The walls, book shelves, and eclectic array of tables and chairs also adds to this. People or not, it is a true unique spot. But what really makes the place so great (besides the looks and the friendly staff who never stopped checking in on us) are the drinks. To start, my wife wasn't feeling alcohol and got an Aper-No Spritz which did the trick, though for myself, I dove into the intriguing list of specialty drinks that makes this place worth visiting. Round one was the Rower's Reserve which lists as a Boat House original and is gin-based with Amaro Nonino, sage, and blackberries to create some fantastic flavors. Round two I had to go with a personal favorite (with a twist) in the smoked honey Negroni which tasted exactly as it sounded. There were a bunch of other libations that also sounded intriguing, but that'll have to be for a future visit. Overall, there's a reason people from the area always suggest The Boat House. It's a true old fashioned maritime cocktail bar that gives you all the feels you'd want from a place like this. Perhaps this review is a little tainted in timing, but hey, maybe that'll give you a little motivation to get here on the earlier side and checkout the upstairs area for yourself. No matter if there's people up there or not, it's a good time here. Cheers!

We drove past all the crowded spots in town and arrived at this more secluded location. They had a small outdoor area with about 4 or 5 tables, so we decided to take advantage of the sunshine. This was my first time at this theater, and I loved the intimate setting. Every seat felt like a great seat. The set design and scene transitions were fantastic, and the talent on stage was absolutely shining. The audience participation was everything you'd hope for. People were shouting the classic one-liners, plus a few fun modern twists that had everyone laughing. The goodie bag with rice, a newspaper, and cards was such a fun touch! The best part came at the end when every attendee was invited on stage to "do the Time Warp" with the cast. It was organized, energetic, and so much fun! Frankie Grande was incredibly gracious, he met every fan outside afterward for photos and autographs, taking his time with each person. He was warm, sincere, and clearly grateful for everyone who came. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the theater staff. During "The Time Warp," a guest had a medical emergency. The house lights came on immediately, clear instructions were given, and within seconds, two doctors in the audience stepped in to help. The situation was handled with incredible professionalism and compassion. After a brief intermission, the show resumed, and we were later told that the guest was going to be OK, which was such a relief to hear. Thank you to the cast, crew, and staff for creating such a memorable and heartfelt night. I'll never forget it!
