The drive thru was a lot of fun. We waited about 30 min from our ticket time to get to the entrance, but it didn't seem that long. They have a radio station that plays Halloween songs to get you in the spirit. Driving through is similar to a hayride. There were plenty of actors that interact with you as you drive thru. They were full of energy and all seemed really in to it. We enjoyed the scenes and costumes. They even got us to jump a couple times. As you leave there was a food truck that brings the goodies right to your car. Everything was hot and lemonade was very fresh. read more

Def a fun place for all, friends or a family night will be a good time. Food is basic but priced well and they have plenty of attractions and activities like axe throwing. I went with a large group and was there for several hours and it was great time. Parking and location are a bit tricky to find and the lines are long for a short haunted attraction experience. read more

I had a great time here! I paid $50 which included all of the attractions and the VIP lines. The lines moved really fast, which was really worth the extra $15 because it was too cold to stand outside for an extended wait. I felt like the attractions were all put together nicely. The tunnel of crutches in the asylum really stood out to me... it looked like quite a piece of art. There were fun extra games (like pumpkin smashing and toss the brain in the zombie). I didn't purchase any food, but what they were selling did look quite delicious. The clown attraction was my favorite by far. The bubble room at the end was really neat, I haven't seen anything like it. The actors/actresses all had great energy and played their parts well. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to return next year read more

These events change often so I want to point out this was a 2018 visit. The very first thing we noticed was there was bad signage differentiating the VIP lines from the regular lines.  The Trail of Terror maze was below today's standards and there was nothing that stood out to note (a 2 of 5 star rating).  The Clownophobia house was also below average (again 2 of 5 stars).  There was a room full of bubbles where we were hoping someone would jump out of themo, but no one did, so we considered that a missed opportunity.  The only memorable moment was the birth canal - it was extra tight, and we were commenting on it as we came out how lubricant would have helped and one of the clowns said "My favorite is KY." The Asylum haunted house was average (3 of 5 stars), but they did have a very cool art sculpture made of crutches and used some cool strobe and fog effects. It was very short in length though. The three events just mentioned overall had what we would consider to be low actor engagement, which makes a world of difference at these locations.  Of the four main events, the hayride was the best, but still only average (again, 3 of 5 stars).  Here is where they performed best on the actor engagement.  Our favorite parts were a very cool pumpkin man statue, great use of fog, a chainsaw man who was like a rock and roll superstar after he jumped on the wagon (literally sliding across the wagon like a lead guitarist!), and the nun who sprayed us with holy water and told us to confess our sins.  This all being said, there were two optional (extra cost) events that were both a 4 star rating and hands down our favorite parts of the evening!  There was a 15 minute camper escape room where we needed to find clues to determine the name of the murderer, their next victim and the weapon they were going to use.  We were given an extra minute in the camper at the end as we were on the last clue and one of the locks was sticking (we had already figured out the correct code) - but we were the first ones of the night to solve it (and we had done this later in the evening, so quite a few groups had gone before us)!!  The camper was $10 and well worth it.  It wasn't even an easy escape.  There was definitely a lot of thinking required. Then there was also the bloodshed.  I can't say too much about this event without spoiling it, but let's just say it's not for the faint of heart (or anyone afraid of sharp objects).  I'll say this... I was strapped in a chair (unable to move basically) inside of a very small shed and things happened to me.  My friend got to watch from a night vision camera outside of the shed. Extremely unique experience that I have not seen done anywhere else!  The shed was $13.  Duane, who escorted me into the shed was a great guy and we got to talk to him a bit.  What I'll say is this - $13 is an odd price for an event.  I think they're thinking people will equate it with the number 13 and something being unlucky, but my honest opinion is that the connection is lost on most people.  They'd get more takers if they offered this for $10 (most of the night the shed was empty). Neither of these are offered as online sales either; however, they easily could sell them both online with timed slots (not that we had to wait long for either event, but I've seen this successfully done in other haunts).  Overall, with two 2's, two 3's and two 4's (thanks only to the extras), this event overall is being rated 3 of 5 stars. read more

This is probably my favorite haunted attraction this time of year. I have been going at least twice every year around this time for the last 3 years. My friends and I can't stop talking about it and we are so excited to go again. Our favorite thing to do is sit in the center of the venue and drink hot chocolate before going onto another trail. The haunted hayride should definitely be on your to do list at bloodshed!!! The location is so convenient and is open late! Go this weekend! read more

We attended this attraction to get into the Halloween spirit while remaining COVID-safe. We arrived earlier than our time slot, so the line moved fast. We paid for the extra "blood bath" ticket, which really turned out to be some smears on the windows. We were disappointed, as we were promised blood, ectoplasmic slime, etc. We paid a premium on top of our ticket price for this extra, which was a shame. It was definitely eerie, driving through a pitch-black corn field with no lights. Many of the actors were good and were into it. Some went above and beyond. In some spots, portions of the attraction were un-manned, which left dead space numerous times throughout the haunt. Given the fact that not many Halloween attractions are running this year, we still had fun, as these folks did the best they could do with the limitations of COVID-19. That said, it was a fun night. However, I must admit that I was taken aback by the food handlers working the food stand, handling food, and not wearing masks. No food for me due to this. This simply shouldn't be. Overall, fun time. Would I do this again after COVID lifts? Probably not. The scare factor wasn't there for me. read more

Went on Halloween it was a waste of 80 bucks. Honestly they don't leave space between each car so you basically are seeing ahen the characters are coming out to scare you. It's alot of banging on your windows one girl threw so much of her weight she could of broke my window, did I mention a guy humping my car.oh also a guy who throws water at your car while sitting down. Super disappointing. Believe the other 1 star reviews cause I went thru and it was trash. Thise 5 stars are obviously people who work there.They are better off making that to a walking trail. read more

Worst haunted experience I've ever gone thru. I paid for V.I.P and got R.I.P.p.e.d off instead. My husband and I had 930 reservations and arrived at 9pm. We didn't get inside until at least 1130pm and was out by 1150pm. Wasted money and over charged for V.I.P. when the experience is exactly the same as if you paid for the regular entrance cost. Bottomline: Save ya money and time. This place sucks!!! The only part that was even remotely scary was when I needed to use the bathroom while waiting on line to get in and couldn't find one. This place is about as scary as party city is when they're selling Halloween costumes and decorations. read more

Went tonight and it was perfect! Just scary enough with some good jump scares. The sets and costumes were great (the light up ghost costume was very cool) and you could tell the scare actors were having a really good time. I had not been to Bloodshed Farms before so I cant say how the drive through compares to their pre-Covid show but everyone in my car agreed it was cool to be in the car and hoped they keep it this way. The clown with the chicken in the foam room towards the end scared the crap out of my boyfriend-I'd never heard him scream before. And "Mama" at the Texas Chainsaw style house was hilarious and terrifying at the same time We will be back next year for sure. read more

The price was okay, space was okay, There were 4 attractions 1 - Clowns- this was an okay attraction lots of clowns, interactive, there is an obstacle (tube) you have to bend down and get through - would like to see an alternative route for those who can't do this well. Not really scary 2- Asylum - fewer actors but pretty scary situations, fun in general, probably the best one there 3- The Farm or whatever it was supposed to be, 5-7 actors in the entire attraction, most just sorta stood there.. lots of wet uneven ground, tree routes, steps that were not clear, lots of just walking through the woods and cornfields with pretty good props just no actors or interactions. 4- Haunted Hay Ride - This one gets a 0, because despite arriving within an hour of opening, and proceeded through each attraction without much hold up other than the lines, it was 930..and we were told at that time, unless we were VIP (paying extra) there was at least a 2 hour wait... can't help but think they over promised things they knew they wouldn't be able to fulfill. We were told we are allowed to come back on a different night to redeem our hayride, but honestly what a bother. This put a real stink on the evening. A call of attention to the issue at the start may have prompted us to upgrade to VIP. Overall not bad bad, but much room for improvement. Hope you work out your hayride issues for the people who come after us! read more

When I first tried to purchase a ticket online I noticed the upgrade option which says for an additional $20.00 the actors interact by touching the car and they throw blood and ooze on the car. I figured why not I needed a car wash anyway. I ended up being charged both for the regular ticket & the upgraded ticket. I left a message on their website & a man from there called me back & it was corrected. The customer service was outstanding. We got right in no wait. That may have been because it was lightly raining. The rain didn't stop the actors!! We had a fun time despite the rain!! It's true if you don't stop for a min or 2 you get too close and see what's happening ahead so go slow. Wish the car would have gotten more blood but we blame that on the rain. It's not super scary but it sure was enjoyable. We'll be back again next year with friends who are intrigued. If you go DEFINITELY get the upgrade, so worth it! read more

I give this 2 star. The line actually went quick. But we thought that the cars would be more spread apart somehow, even going 3 mph , we even slowed down more then that. We could see everything that was happening in front of us , so it made it not scary. There were 2 parts that scared me a little which was because they left and then ran back at the window , that only happened 2 times the whole time there. Majority of the "scary" people were just standing there. There were a few interacting with the car so that was cool . The alien thing was dumb it wasn't anything. Just a guy on a speaker. The radio station they have on is terrible. I guess it was an experience but definitely expected more of just anything to be going on. read more

I get scared easily and so I was really excited about this place. I bought a VIP ticket. Hayride was okay. The actors do get on the wagon and that's pretty cool but it really wasn't scary. Then we did the trail of terror ... the description online is scarier. There's a lot of empty space between the stages/scenes. I wish they had more people coming out of the cornstalk to scare you but you would hear them before hand. But still didn't scream at all. Next was the hellsgate asylum, the ending was scary. The clown one was pretty descent, the clowns are creepy and do follow you around for a little bit. All in all .. it was alright. If you show you aren't scared then they won't really do much to you. read more

Came here tonight with some friends for our last haunted attraction for the season. I never even heard of this place until this year so we decided to check it out. First off, I couldn't believe it's the last weekend of the season and it was so empty. Good for us but it was very surprising. It was also surprising that almost every guest here was a lot older than the average I've seen at these haunted attractions... It was very refreshing to have not teenyboppers all over the place. We started with the 'Trail of Terror'. This is the only line we waited in all night... we waited about 30 to 40 minutes but it was for a good reason. They only send you in with the group you came with. Finally! One of the few haunted attractions I've been to that actually does this. The scares were okay but there was A LOT of dead space. They really need to fill in some areas in the trail with something else or somebody hiding out there because at times you just kept walking and walking forever and no one and no prop was there. The trail was quite long however. It probably took us about 30 minutes to get through the whole trail. After that, we went to the 'Last Ride' hayride. This was the highlight of the night for me! They have proper seats which I can honestly say I have never seen before on a hayride and pretty much everyone else was saying the exact same thing. The hayride was about 30 minutes so it was a good length. Once again, A LOT of dead space. However, when they did have a scene or scare, it was done very well. It was entertaining, funny, fun with a bit of scare mixed in. I will say... one of the best scenes in the hayride was the Purge scene. I have never seen that in any hayride or walk-thru and it was very original. Next, we went to the 'Hellsgate Asylum'. This was more interactive and got you involved with the story of this Asylum and it had a lot of props which worked. The design inside was very creative and original. The scares were done well. Lastly, we went to 'Clownophobia'. This was very creative! Yes, it had clowns but I didn't see what I would consider scary clowns. It was more of a scary/fun clown. This walk-thru was more of a maze than anything else and it is hard to get out of! It was pretty different than anything I've been in before. Overall, we had a good time. Would I come back? Not sure but it is worth going to. This could be amazing with a little more work and get rid of all that dead space in the trail and hayride. The other thing I would note - more so for the owners/managers - I really think you need to have someone make sure people know the rules. These 2 girls on the hayride were on their phone the ENTIRE time! Everyone on my hayride, even though we were having fun, were very annoyed by these two girls because she was ruining the experience. All the actors were pretty annoyed too and kept going up to her but nope - she just stayed on her phone. I have been to several haunted hayride and walk-thru that straight up right to the guest and told them to stop or they were getting them off the hayride and they did. Rules like this need to be in place so people - who are enjoying it - can enjoy it and not have an experience ruined. That being said, it cost $30 for us to get in for all four attractions. Considering the length of each attraction, it's a pretty good price for this place. read more

Honestly, I was a little disappointed. Bloodshed Farms consists of 4 different standard attractions with different themes, a haunted prison, a clown walk through, a corn walk through & a hay ride. They also have addition attraction called the Bloodshed that I didn't participate in. I arrived around 8:15 on a Saturday night & got in line to buy tickets (tip - buy them online beforehand, or on your phone while waiting in line like several people did). Eventually get to the front & pay $25 for all 4 normal attractions (normally $30, but I had a coupon). All said & done with going through the attractions & waiting on the lines for each one I spent about 3 1/2 hours there, most of it in line. The attractions from best to worst are: The prison, the clown area, the corn walk through & a hay ride. The haunted prison was by far the best (I believe the owners ran a prison themed haunt previously so that makes sense), which has a few different areas you'd expect to find, like a laundry facility, showers, execution chamber, cells, etc. The clown area was still good, but I felt the theme/sets dropped off. Yes, there are lots of clowns, but not much to give it the feel of an actual circus. A carnival barker, some side show signs in a hallway, I think only 1 room had circus music. Nothing to make it scream "CLOWNS" other than just people in clown attire in a normal haunted house. Some of the actors were very good though. The corn walk through (it's not a maze, just a path with jack o lanterns every few feet), was very sparse. Walk 50 feet, go into a haunted shed, walk 50 feet, another scene, etc. For some reason they sent me through this by myself instead of in a group, so maybe that through off the timing, but one actor didn't even notice me on the trail until after I passed him and he was like "whoops" after I passed him. The chainsaw guy didn't even bother trying to start his saw or chase me. The hay ride was the worst attraction by far. The wait was ridiculous, a full 74 minutes. Yes, I actually timed it because other patrons warned me the wait was very long. The wait was so long that someone a few rows ahead of me actually relieved themselves in line. Plenty of people smoking in the line too. The actual hayride had maybe 2 worthwhile jump scares, but overall not much worthwhile happened. Several people in line complained that they waited so long at the hayride when they finally were through the other attractions were already closed for the night. I would have been super disappointed if I had paid $25-$30 for 1 attraction! I'm not trying to bash the event or anything, I'm sure it's difficult to run a haunted house, but felt an unbiased & fair review from an attendee was warranted. read more

Bloodshed Farms FearFest Review: Bloodshed Farms looks very intense in their Marketing but is actually like a big party in a Cornfield. They have a main Midway area with Food and activities with the entrances to the attractions surrounding it, all enclosed in their Cornfield. The Last ride with it's uniquely designed Hayride vehicle is alot of fun as the actors are very interactive and entertaining as they ride on the wagon for a long while between stops. The wagon is essentially a giant hearse and is full of tricks and surprises. The Trail of Terror has some really good interactive spots where you actually stop and engage with the actors. Some good startle scares and sets out here as well, especially the voodoo or fortune teller area. Hellgate Asylum is cloaked in fog as you approach and the heavily fog filled finale is really good and intense. Clown O Phobia is long and is full of dirty no good lying Clowns. Don't trust any of them in this house as they will surely send you down the wrong path. This house felt long, had good scares, and I liked the idea that they could make you feel a little lost in there. Overall there is alot to do here with a variety of attractions available, and it's really a good fun night of scares at BloodShed Farms. read more

The actors are amazing!!! The ones that walk around in the lines actually had really great banter. If you go, which I recommend you do, hit the hayride first then the smaller attractions. I thought it was excellent!! I am a hard scare but they got me good quite a few times! Very reasonably priced for the hayride and 3 walk thrus. The lines moved very fast even though they let smaller groups go. Each haunt was about 10-15 mins walking. The costumes and makeup are some of the best I've seen in a while!! read more

We laughed, we screamed, we sang to the songs playing on the radio set at 88.3, waved at the characters, made fun of each other in the car, and tried to guess all the characters thru out the ride. Really bad, you guys. We went on a Friday night around 9pm. There are four attractions for $35 which was steep for the quality. The cornfield or woods walk whatever it was supposed to be was terrible. I think two actors through the entire thing. I'm not sure if they sent everyone home or what. Most of it was dead space and walking through mud. Scariest part was the bridge shaking when you walked across. The Clown attraction was the best of the bunch, but still not scary. People with claustrophobia should avoid. The Hayride was the most disappointing. We were on with only one other family who was absolutely ridiculously terrified and the actors focused only on them. Secondly, the security guard decided to sit next to me and laugh at the family and tell me what was about to happen and when. He would even count down to the scares. It was really rude and irritating and completed ruined the attraction for me. The hospital one was okay, the best decorated. All in all, would never return and really disappointed in the staff. read more

I see people complain if you don't wanna wait get vip honestly this has been the best haunted attraction I been to only issue is cash I don't carry none so be prepared if you want too get something from the vendors as for everything else there's 4 attractions which was pretty good prices are a little steep but honestly if you don't wanna wait get the vip pass also there are additional 2 others escape room and bloodshed I did both pretty dope I recommend this place too everyone read more

If I could give this zero stars, I would. A great idea but so poorly executed. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt since it was opening night and I'm sure they tried their best to make Halloween activities accessible during a pandemic, but this was just horrendous. We reserved a ticket for 10pm, got there at about 9:45. We soon realized how incredibly long the line was. Everytime we thought we were close, nope- we had to loop around again. We did not reach the entrance of the attraction until 12:20am. Absolutely insane. No bathrooms along the way. No one apologizing for the wait. We were done with the drive thru by 12:40. It was sort of entertaining but not worth the wait in the least bit. Very disappointed! I hope bloodshed farms will acknowledge their lack of planning and overselling of tickets, and at least apologize for the poor execution of this event. I would not recommend at all. Save your money and your gas! read more

Went here on 10/7/2017 at 8pm. Lines weren't long but moved very slowly. $30 for 4 attractions is a good price but 1 out of the 4 was good. The asylum was the scariest trail there, 2nd was the clown one, 3rd the maze, and 4th the hayride. To much dead space between the trails and the hayride was awful. This place was greatly understaffed. Most of the displays were empty. You can tell where there was supposed to be people jumping out at you attempting to scare you. But they were unmanned. For the price I thought this place would've better. While we were there we found out why it had such great reviews on google. Had a fun "Family Night" at 'Bloodshed Farms' last night! The casts to the attractions were GREAT! I REALLY enjoyed the Hayride, the cast REALLY interacted with the guest. I honestly cannot relate to the experiences that the ppl who gave this place a low rating and poor review had. In comparison, the experiences were like night and day. My family and I had a blast. As far as lines being long....well, if an attraction is exciting and popular, common sense would dictate that lines would be long. The 'fix' to avoiding long lines is to purchase the VIP pass, IMO, well worth the investment. We had little to no wait thanks to the VIP pass. My Advice: if you are up for a fun night and want to cross off "Haunted Attraction" from your bucket list, then GO! Decide for yourself! We sure had a good time! Thanks, Bloodshed Farms! read more

This attraction is not for the faint of heart. After years of having a family run halloween attraction, I'm very numb to the frights that come along with Halloween attractions. This one DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Always have a blast attending this annually! This will be my 4th year attending, and it just gets better and better every year! Two years ago we stopped by hoping for something cool...boy did we find it. The screams and chills were amazing. The actors felt real and no one in our group was calm until we were back on the ride home. What an amazing adventure each of the attractions took you on.
