Not the sprawling large space of the Barrington Conscious on Cook, but a cozy corner nook inviting the java and casual consumers in. The staff is nice, some space but limited outlets, noticed and heard young kids and moms throughout my stay making a racket which unfortunately for small town spots is difficult to accommodate. I ordered up a large rose matcha, surprised my eyes out when it managed to peak twelve dollars! Is it ceremonial grade? Guess I can write off a donation for small town America! It was fine and easy to drink but not much smooth balance I've had with other matcha like Eleventh House in my hometown or Rabble's incredible Lawnmower doing watermelon with the green tea. Downtown Indianapolis sure does spoil! Would do coffee next time, the Dubai latte I had at Cook St seems the winter way. read more

Visited the Downtown Cary Conscious Cup! Located on the street corner by the train tracks with a decent amount of outdoor seating as well as a main banquet of seating inside. The coffee shop was very busy when I visited with a line all the way to the entry. Only one staff member was working so she had to hustle to take orders, make drinks, and refill items behind the bar. I was surprised they would be so understaffed for a busy day. When it was my turn, I ordered a 16oz Hot Pumpkin Spice Latte (with oatmilk). You can tell the pumpkin is fresh and quality to help flavor the latte. They do have a notice stating their prices have increased and reasoning why. My latte in total was close to $10 so this becomes more of a special treat than consistent go-to. Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed my latte and experiencing the Cary location! read more

The staff is so friendly and helpful at this cute, home grown coffee shop. They make all their own syrups and have delicious flavors for lattes, coffees and anything that you could want. This was a little gem that my wife and I stopped upon for a quick coffee stop during our road trip. The space is inviting with lots of natural light. They also have the cutest stickers! I had to pick up a chemex sticker for my water bottle. I ordered a cortado, which was an 8oz double shot drink. Sometime you never know, because some cafés default to single shot 4oz. I have been a fan of Conscious Cup since they opened their first location in Crystal Lake 13 years ago. As a Cary resident, I was ecstatic to find out they were opening a location in town. Having already visited no less than four times since the new location opened a week ago, I feel I can confidently express that their dedication to quality and excellent service are continued in Cary as they have been at both the Crystal Lake and Barrington locations. I saw the baristas handle crowds with grace and good humor, and me and my wife still received personal attention and delicious coffee and food (well, chai in my wife's case!). The new location is beautiful and I'm amazed at the facelift and work it received in such a short amount of time since the previous tenant left. It's a great space and I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you! read more

Baristas are trained and know what they're doing which is actually harder to come by around here. My partner went back a different day & got sugar free syrup & mentioned they were all out when I was there. This new shop is so cute, and very conveniently close to the train stop. I love that they make their own syrups. I feel like when I'm lucky enough to find a cafe that does this, I know my drink will be stellar. And it was! I hope they continue to make all of their syrups from scratch. I got a mocha with whole milk and it was so creamy and the perfect mix of espresso and chocolate. All of the workers were very friendly, and I love the decor all the way from the entrance to the bathrooms! I can't wait to come back! Stopped in this morning to give the new place a try. Order the vanilla Carmel latte - service was super friendly and patient as I made my choice. I chose wisely! Yum! Latte was hot and creamy and not too sweet. The coffee was smooth, not bitter. The coffee shop is super cute: aka small, not a negative just be aware. Seating at 9:00 am was hard to find and it is cozy: aka close together, again not a negative. Overall I had a great experience and will be goi g back again and again and again! read more
