yes, I agree with previous reviewer. I loved their previous small store around the corner better! More friendly and intimate. Since moving, they have added loud snooty saleswomen and overpriced furniture. My hardly worn classic and tailored Talbot's items were "out of style".....yet the clientele is mostly middle aged women and Talbot labels are throughout the store. The process of consigning is becoming worse all the time. I've been consigning to CW for about a year but no more. The last couple of times I brought stuff to consign I was met with rudeness and absolutely no effort to be cooperative. I very much discourage anyone from consigning to CW. There are many other consignment shops throughout the Cape that are smaller but consequently will have a better outcome for you. read more

BEWARE: a dangerous place to buy anything! Mary Martin not to be trusted. All sales final, even if you change your mind one minute after you make the purchase and have not removed you furniture from the premises. Very unreasonable. Would never buy anything from these people again. read more

Don't waste your time. The women that work here are snooty and rude and for the little money you MIGHT make off your stuff, you will feel much better if you donate to needy people who will be appreciative and you can still get a tax write-off. They make you wait forever here just to look at your stuff. Last time I went they saw a tiny spot on a skirt and she told me if I could get it out, I should bring the skirt back. I scrubbed the spot out and brought the skirt back and this time, they didn't want it because it was too fancy!!! What a waste of my time! They always find things wrong (and I only bring stuff in impeccable condition because I KNOW they are picky), but if you look through the racks there are worn out shoes there, tops with pilling, etc. How come they didn't have an issue with those??? I am convinced they only like to take items from "friends" of theirs. You have to be in their circle. Don't waste your time people. Go somewhere else or bring your clothes to the needy. And you can great new stuff on sale if you watch carefully. read more

I LOVE Consigning Women!!! I have shopped and consigned here for years. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience there as long as they follow the Guidelines...I certainly don't want to buy clothes that smell of moth balls or cigarette smoke for that matter. This shop is clean, very well organized and has a great staff! I have shopped consignment for years, this is by far my FAVORITE!! read more

The staff at Consigning Women has to be the most rude, inconsiderate and snotty bunch I have ever seen. Being the first time I have brought items in to consign, I was repremanded by one woman who stated one of the jackets I was bringing in looked like spring. I was not even totally through the door yet! I was told I should have read the rules and she rolled her eyes at me! I then was told to go look around while they went through my items. Upon returning, I was told that the shoes I was bringing in were "much loved" ... Interesting while they were brand new with tags. Items that they said were spring actually were Brooks Brothers button down blouses that can be worn in any season. I would much rather donate my items to a charity than be scrutinized by these women. Who by the way were not dressed like they had any authority to judge. They acted like they were managers at Neiman Marcus.. Come on ladies cop on, you are in a used clothing and furniture shop on Cape Cod. Stay far away everyone. You will be happy you did. read more
