I love shopping at this place the prices are really good and what a friendly and helpful staff the owner Paul has working for him. I always get what I need and if I have any problems at all Paul goes above and beyond to make sure I always come back for more! Went into the store to buy paint, first time buying a can of 1/4 gallon. The guy at the paint counter did not list any options or prices, just mixed the paint and gave it to us. We go up to the counter and the paint is highly overpriced. Apparently the guy gave us premium paint without asking us if that was what we wanted or suggesting a more affordable option. We tried to ask if we could not buy the product, instead the cashier said that the product was already mixed so we have to buy the can of paint. Buyer beware If you ask for paint or have it mixed, YOU MUST BUY IT. You are not allowed the freedom to opt out or say no thank you because they will tell you "once it's mixed you have to buy it, we're not taking it back". NO ONE explained or warned us of this policy so we had to spend $50 on two 1/4 gallons of paint. **We felt forced to purchase and will not be doing business with this store again.** read more

We have a house in Harwich but primary New Jersey. Been here many times - this is the best hardware store anywhere! Always have helpers to find what you need no matter how minor. Two things come to mind: I needed a small set screw for a toilet paper dispenser- three folks helped me find what I needed in the mass of hardware - perfect. Another- I needed an extension ladder and they matched a Home Depot price after special ordering for me - I reluctantly accepted gratefully. Please patronize this great store! read more

Disappointed. I have been there twice now and not gotten any help. I went today to buy a grill and stood there for 5 minutes needing help. Not one person asked. I saw one worker look over at me. Maybe I didn't look like someone who was going to buy anything? Left and bought it someplace else. Treat all your customers equal, not just men looking for tools! read more

My family and I go here for just about all of our painting, decorating and repair needs. Had custom blinds put in and they were done perfectly, with great suggestions and information before ordering. Their prices are excellent and I have always had wonderful and immediate assistance whenever I have walked in... from small needs to large, exact needs and the "I'm not sure what I need" visits! This Hardware Store is fantastic, every time I go multiple people offered to help me, it's the exact opposite of going to those big stores where no one helps me and no one knows anything, when I go to this hardware store they are well-informed they know a lot about all of the products people specialize in different areas so you get real product knowledge and everyone is super nice even when I come in a few minutes before closing I am so glad I bought a house in this neighborhood. I have literally stopped shopping anywhere else, anything I need they order it for me. if you can go to the corner store burrito place down the road, and this hardware store, and the beach w your dog, on the same day, then you have the perfect day read more
