I had a successful project working with Consolidated Hudson. The work entailed running electrical lines from the basement to the attic. This was to install new lighting and outlets. They were comfortable working in the attic in tight spaces and on ladders outside. The most impressive part to me was that they strategically planned the routing to minimize disruption. After 22 yrs or so, the motor on my house the attic fan came to a halt. The first electrical contractor I called stopped by to assess the job and said it would take 7-10 days to get replacement motor, and probably another week to install. I then called Consolidated Hudson Electric who sent a rep the next day. He arrived in the morning, assessed the need, and provided a quote. He also checked with his home office and found that they had a fan/motor in stock and could do the replacement that same day, which I was extremely happy about, especially when the outside temperature was going to hit the mid-90s. Within two hours, a team showed up, and in less than an hour, the attic fan motor was replaced. The men were courteous, and professional at all times. I'm impressed with Consolidated Hudson Electric. The electricians, techs and office staff I interacted with were all responsive and professional. I needed a small job done: replace four landscape spotlights and fix a shorted circuit.  Anthony Russo came to my house to assess the work and spent a few minutes talking to me about options and his recommendations for replacement light fixtures. I had a reasonable, competitive quote within a few days. The office (Alie or Amy?) fielded several calls from me about the quote and scheduling the work.  She was very good about returning calls when I left messages.  She had one of the techs send me the exact model of the replacement lights when I asked. I compared their pricing of the replacement lights with Amazon and other sources. Con Hud Electric was within a few dollars of the best price I could get (so they weren't jacking up parts costs to increase their profit).  Milton and Joel were the techs that did my work. They came on-time, worked quickly and professionally, got everything working, and finished the job in short order. My mom, who is a senior citizen, returned to her Yonkers home on July 4th weekend after a lengthy hospital stay to find that there was no power in her kitchen and den.
