There was no hemming and hawing or haggling AT ALL- he identified the problem and made another adjustment to make the deadbolt more secure. Robert is a professional; he didn't sell me a single thing and gave me a short list of options with succinct explanations in response to my detailed and tedious questions. Lockdown Security does not have many Yelp reviews - and I figured out why: I asked for a handful of business cards because I had such a fantastic resolution. Robert chuckled and mentioned that he is the preferred locksmith for a number of Property Management Companies, high rise complexes and developers on both sides of the Bay. Despite his impressive roster, he gave me his undivided attention and made me feel like a VIP. I am delighted with Robert's credentials, licensing, professionalism and knowledge. A bit pricey ($125 or it might have been $150.) for maybe 15 - 20 minutes. But I don't want to have trouble locking or unlocking a screen door (attached to my main door) especially in the evening, so I am not complaining. I would use them again without hesitation.

It was his tone. He told me if the bars are going on bedroom windows you need quick release per the codes. I told him they're going in the living room. He said in some cities you even need quick release for the living room. Hey that's my problem. You just sell me what i'm asking for, and let me worry about the codes. If there's a fire in front, you just go out the back door. Sounds like he's trying to talk me out of buying anything. I am done with them. I found my bars elsewhere and they're fine, and cost less than their prices anyway. Can't be bothered to call the customer, OK, that's your loss buddy.
