Her diagnosis and advice were sensible and conservative. Our experience was positive from arrival until we left. I would use this business again for sure

Warning! This is a heart breaking post. My daughter came home to her 13 year old cat, actively…read moredying. His tongue hanging out, drooling. Definitely end of life. We took him here because it was a Saturday night. We were told 146.00 for the visit. We did not ask about Euthanasia fees up front.Obviously on the way there we knew the right thing to do was let him be out of pain and pass peacefully we knew it was his time, this episode was the end of any quality of life. Upon arrival they took him and immediately put him on pain meds. They then came back with an 1800 quote to diagnose what was wrong. Abnormality of Chin? Hadn't been eating/drinking. Umm anyone could tell stroke, tongue hanging, 13 year old cat. We stated he was 13 and we were at peace due to lack of quality of life that Euthanasia was best. Guess what we were told? We don't do that? What? We'll give you pain meds to get him through weekend and you can take to your vet? So 500.00 to take our poor cat home to die. They did not care about the cat, it's pain, the fact that he was 13 never sick, just 1800 to tell us what was wrong!!! This was not to treat and do the right thing. Well now what? Please be aware if you think your fur baby may need to be Euthanized definitely don't bring here. Ask up front before going to any emergency vet if they will do if decision has to be made. Y'all know the outcome, I just pray the pain pills managed it enough. What happened to compassionate care? If we knew there was hope it would have been different. Basically they wanted 1800.00 to tell us nothing they could do. Speak to your vets and get an emergency back up plan, not an emergency vet as they( maybe not all) but this facility is profiting of your emotions with your fur baby. No pictures for obvious reasons.Follow up to response. We did take our cat to our veterinary clinic, they took one look and said we're so sorry. No exam, no diagnostics just did the most humane thing.
