I scheduled an appointment with him on Monday for Friday, I followed up Thursday morning asking for confirmation. I pinged twice more during the day and finally got a "yes." Sounds like we're good to go, right? Wrong! Noon Friday comes around and...no Carlos. I ping him at 12:15 and ask him what's up. No response until 1:15pm, at which time Carlos asks for pictures of the project. The entire reason he was supposed to come on-site to begin with was to be able to judge the project in person. Our retaining wall project was absolutely phenomenal! Contractor Carlos and all of his workers are very professional. The project was to build the retaining wall (1.5-ft height 200-ft long) with some degree of slopes. The quality of work was superb. They dig 1-ft below ground and put enough concrete to solidify the foundation. Enough rebars were vertically put in foundation strengthening the concrete blocks that are layered above the ground. While getting project requests from others, Carlos promised to get mine done before moving onto the next project. Carlos kept a man of his word. The project was completed ahead of schedule. Best of all, workers had a different understanding of the plan and made a mistake. Carlos was patient and corrected the issue even if it meant some hours of rework. My wife and I had worked with other contractors doing yard work last year and having compared the two companies, Carlos was far SUPERIOR in every aspect of doing the job!
