i went here to renew my passport. The traffic may be horrible in the morning around 9:30-10:00am (local) Once u get there, Its a bit hard to find street parking, even they hv meters (no parking 7-10am)..so if u want to save trouble, just park at their underground garage. its about $8 for an hr. You go to 3rd floor, take a ticket and wait to be called. Wow, this place is pretty! Colors are very representative. The environment is neat and new. Licia helped me today and she was very helpful. For my renewal, she told me that i need to fill out a form on the computer on the side and print it out. Then, provide her my pic (2X2 is fine coz they will scan it). As for payment, they only accept money order. I didnt hv one so she told me to go to 7th floor, #745, to get one. You pay $85, $80 for renewal fee and $5 for process fee. Once she process it, she will ask u to come back at 12:30PM to pick up ur passport. When I went back to pick up, she also asked me to confirm all the info, to see if everything was correct. I think the customer service is AWESOME!!! a lot of times when u go to embassy, u pay for the printing paper, the line is long, u pay extra money to renew ur passport on the same day and bad attitude. i was totally satisfied w the service! Additional Info: mon to fri 09:00am -01:00 pm visa pick up 09:00am -12:00 pm

Pretty simple process if you follow the online instructions. The wait time was 5mins. Make sure and upload your picture and signature correctly. If it doesn't upload, they'll send you to the 7th floor. They'll upload both for $10... I found metered parking on a side street. Only cost me $1.50. The whole process only took 5mins tops, so don't pay more than few bucks for parking. I would give them 5 stars but the price ($160) for a visa seems like a scam. No other country pays over $50. Plus, Brazil is waving the fee from June-September for the Olympics. Obviously, it most not be that serious to have a visa. If they can pick and choose when it's necessary

    Hours of operation.

I had to come in here on Friday, February 2nd, 2018. I was here several times before and this is the closest to me geographically. For those of you who do not know me, I was born in Brazil so I am a Brazilian citizen living in the US. That is why my name is Henrique because of Portuguese way of spelling the Spanish way of Enrique. Anyways, I came here to take care of some paperwork. Most of us who are living in the US that want to travel to Brazil and do not have a Brazilian Passport or are Brazilian, you are required to get a visa and I believe It is $160 (at the time of this writing) and I believe it is good for 90 days. If you go to Brazil without it, you risk of being in big trouble with the government there. Trust me that you do not want to get involved with Brazilian authorities and government as they are run different from the US. Paying a visit here for the visa is one way and they have 4 dedicated windows for that. To get in, you have to find parking either underground or on the street. Then you will have to take the stairs to the third floor. The people here are generally nice and will help you as long as you are polite and understanding. They do it in the Brazilian way. Since the redesign of the area, it is more spacious, restrooms no longer requires a key, and walls have a pretty Brazilian colors of yellow. They require you to sign in on the computer before taking a seat. If you came in 10 years ago, the consulate was small and inefficient. Services also at that time were terrible so this is a big sign of improvement over the years. During most of my visits, there are people who can speak Portuguese. If you do not know any, the consulate will do their best to speak to you in English. However, not everyone who works there can speak English. Occasionally, I do get them to speak English to me as I lost my fluency in Portuguese, but I can make my ways with the language. For those that are applying for a VISA, I think they made it more English friendly (probably as a result of Rio 2016 and FIFA World Cup 2014). Most of the people who visit the consulate are Brazilians that are living in the US so you can also have them help you. However, do not get the security to help you, he does not speak Portuguese or know much of what goes on other than to help you get a number to get a seat. The wait time to get anything done varies. If you come in right when they open you will get it done in about 1-2 hour range. If you come in any later than that, 3-4 hours is not uncommon from my experience. Also their hours are unaccommodating. 9-12 for VISA and 9-13 for the rest of us Brazilians M-F and closed for the US observed holidays (not sure if they close for Brazilian holidays like our own Independence Day/Labor Day) so most of us have to get a day off to visit here. Overall, the Brazilian consulate made huge improvements in how they run things. But do expect a wait time and to pay for the fees they only accept USPS money order (USPS is 5-6 blocks away from here going south on La Cienega towards I-10 or you can go to RC Business services for a little extra), which is why it is a 4 star. Unfortunately for most of us who are located here in SoCal, this is the place to go for Brazilian services (and yes I know the drive is not fun especially with the congested 405 or the 5/10/60 freeways every commute), but they do their best in helping you in what you need so Obrigado por seu ajuda e sus servicios (thank you for your help and your services). NOTE: You can also use RC Business Services on 4th floor if you need help with application filling outs and other stuff. We have used their services a few times in the past. They are English friendly and prices are reasonable. Sometimes they will refer you to go there as well if you do not understand what you are doing. NOTE #2: say Obrigado (Thank You) and Por favor (please) and you may just not only make them be nicer to you, but be very pleased to be interested in the Brazilian culture.

Pick up was extremely quick! Go to kiosk, select visa pick up, get number, and have a seat.

Will they accept a bus ticket to Uruguay as proof of onward travel out of Brazil? I only booked a one-way airline ticket.

Is there a limit to how much time they give me to pick up my VISA? They gave me the date for last Wednesday , Nov 22 and I would like to pick it up next week, the 4th or 6th of Dec.

PIck up time is during their regular office hours of 9:00 AM -12:00 PM. However by chance I looked on their web site and they were closed on Friday November 10 which would have been a good time for me, without posting prominently at the office or on…

My mom got sick and I had to stay home with her and wasn't able to go to Europe. I canceled my trip and tried to postpone it to next year same time in June 2026. Since they didn't have flights going out that far the travel agent advised me to get a flight for April 2026 and then cancel it and change it to June of 2026. So I changed it in March of 2026 to June 2026. The agent told me, that I would get a call from the manager. I never received a phone and tried too many times to talk with somebody .. I've been leaving voice messages with my phone number for a return call , but no success . I don't know what to do.

For my domestic Canada booking, I purchased Travel Care Service for USD 95.22, believing it would protect me in the event of a missed connection. On my return journey, Etihad Airways flight EY21 from Abu Dhabi to Toronto was delayed by 14 hours and 36 minutes, causing me to miss my Air Canada flight from Toronto to Edmonton. While I was still stranded in Abu Dhabi, ASAP Tickets asked me to purchase a replacement ticket. I paid an additional USD 353.92, which itself included another USD 100.92 Travel Care Service charge. After returning to Canada, I requested reimbursement of the USD 353.92. ASAP Tickets declined my claim, stating that because my Toronto-Edmonton ticket was a "standalone domestic reservation," the Travel Care "Missed Connection" benefit did not apply. As a customer, this explanation is difficult to understand. A non-stop domestic flight cannot have a missed connection on its own. The only missed connection that could occur was due to the delayed international flight--which is exactly what happened. What is even more concerning is that I was charged for Travel Care twice--first USD 95.22 on the original booking and then another USD 100.92 as part of the rebooking--yet I was ultimately told that the coverage did not apply when I actually needed it. I believe customers deserve: * A clear explanation of exactly what Travel Care covers before they purchase it. * Agents who verify whether Travel Care applies before asking stranded passengers to pay hundreds of dollars for replacement tickets. I am sharing my documented experience so that other travelers can make informed decisions when purchasing Travel Care.

There is so much we could say about this journey, but in just a few words, we would like to say that this flight truly won our hearts. We traveled in Business Class, seated in 8E and 8F. Everything about the journey was exceptional--from the comfort and cleanliness of the aircraft to the outstanding service provided by the cabin crew. We would especially like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the flight attendants Ruchi and Parinaz. Their warm smiles, kindness, and caring attitude made us feel like family throughout the flight. Parinaz, in particular, made us feel as though she were our own daughter. Her genuine care, affection, and professionalism made our journey unforgettable. We are proud to share this wonderful experience and highly recommend Qatar Airways Flight QR735 to all travelers. The excellent cleanliness of the aircraft and the exceptional hospitality of the cabin crew, especially Parinaz, deserve the highest praise. The real hit is that they do not merely book you on as a group but instead charter the entire ship so that, rest assured, all of the passengers are gay. As such it really couldn't be better. I recently took their cruise out of Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades aboard the Koningsdam, the newest and best ship of the Holland America Lines, and what a ship it was. It was totally knock out beautiful, had fresh orchids everywhere along with an excellent crew and service staff. Now there are a few things different about an all gay cruise than a mixed one. First, the crew is all volunteer, so you know they wanted to be there. If you speak with them, the reasons are that they make more money, tips are much better and the passengers generally more fun and friendly. Another is that the bars are more stocked with more bartenders on duty. The well know reason for that being is that as gay people tend to party more, they drink more. My inside source tells me something like five times as much as the average straight Holland America passenger, but then Holland America does have the reputation of being the geriatric ward of the seas. Then, of course there is the music and lighting necessary for a good party. With RSVP you don't have to worry about that because they bring their own, set it all up, wire it in and it's gay party time. I confess that prior to my trip, I was concerned that RSVP would have Holland cut back on the food, but that didn't happen. I've been on Holland America as well as other cruise liners and here, their food in the main dining room was right up there with the best of them. And though I tried several of their specialty restaurants, the main dining was so good it made booking into them seem somewhat of a waste. For what it is, an all gay cruise, it's about as good as it gets.

We also bought cancellation insurance, but it excludes government travel advisories. Atlantis refuses to do anything and directly states that I should go against the Canadian government. They deflect the problem to the cruise line stating, "their hands are tied until the cruise line cancels." The cruise line and Atlantis contract have nothing to do with me, and I am not the one that chartered the ship; Atlantis was. Full stop. They are at liberty to provide refunds or, at the very least, travel credits without waiting for the cruise line to cancel the cruise. They just want to protect their corporate bank accounts. There was a significant outbreak of covid on the ship scheduled for; Atlantis has said absolutely nothing. Their communication and customer service are garbage. Instead, they sent us a list of parties they plan on continuing to host and stated they've only had 5 covid positive cases. Yet, they left out the part about the Norwegian Pearl cancelling their current voyage 1 day into an 11-day cruise because over 50 crew members had become sick. Atlantis is an event organizer who is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of its attendees. Many of us want to cancel because cruising is no longer safe. Several other events companies have accepted responsibility for their customer's health and offered flexible cancellation. Instead of dealing with the situation, Atlantis has asked us to come to Facebook and sell our rooms. They accept 0 risks of profit loss or any responsibility for chartering a cruise ship in the middle of a pandemic. These ships will sail empty. Yet they list their cruises on their sales pages as "Sold out" because of their terms and conditions, which only protect their own interests. Corporate greed at its finest.
