When I walked in there and explained that I was the woman who had called about a battery, the young man who was behind the counter knew exactly what I was talking about and double checked in the computer for my options. He found the right battery, said he could install it for me, and then came outside with his work cart and immediately got to work. When he found a slight issue that he wanted to check with his employers, two other men came out to assist him in finding the adjustment he needed to make. Between the three of them, they worked out the issue and explained to both the young man and me what the issue was and how they were addressing it. The entire time they worked, they were teaching the younger man. They were all so patient and kind, they absolutely turned my day around. I can't thank the three of them enough for helping me replace my battery at almost half what the dealership quoted me and in such a reasonable amount of time. I have gone to that Advance Auto before for wipers, and they will be my top choice for auto parts from now on!

The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !
