I was referred to this firm by another attorney BUT I want the world to see that this woman has some GRANDIOSE personality disorder and costing the attorney good cases and MONEY. Received a judgement for a credit card l defaulted on over 10 years ago, they were going to take 25% of my wages by garnishing my paychecks. Over the years I avoided the paperwork and didn't have the money to pay it off. Looking all over the internet for a local consumer attorney to guide me through this situation. While l was reading reviews l came across Mr. Fred Schwinn and just go in my car and drove over to his office. Upon my arrival Fred met me at the entrance and right away took me back to his office and looked up my case. Marisol is nice and friendly. Although she's an admin , she knows enough to cover the basic. She needed additional help so she called in an attorney. That guy is a slob. You're about 50 with a 3rd girl hair style (long down to your shoulder and with a hair piece?), obese, dressed in a jean shirt that you're unable to fully tuck in. If you have a SERIOUS Case, don't come here! They Kept my Case for 10 months. They were attempting to organize a "Class Action" Lawsuit. (I guess they failed) or didn't know what they were doing? As the one year anniversary of the Incident approache, they dropped me. All this time, all they did was pull PUBLIC RECORDS on the Rogue Tow Truck Driver! Dui's, Macing Babies, calling Clients the "N" word etc etc. I had to scramble in finding another attorney. The other Attorneys told me that I took up too much time with Consumer Law Center. I (ended) up filing my Own Lawsuit. I later had it reduced to Small Claims. Maximum $10,000. (My Case was worth over $150,000). Attorneys have a "Phobia" about touching left over cases that other attorneys have a stench on. Fred was RUDE, MOODY and just plain disrespectful. I Sucked up his and Rae attitudes, because I felt that they were going to help me. (I wasn't into "Lawyer Shopping"). By NO means was I ever AFRAID of speaking up. At times the Secretary Marisol was paralyze like a(domestic violence victim). Kicking me under the table for me to just be subservient. I mostly stayed because he looked like Michael Moore the activist. Personality wise a Dud. I drove to meet with them over 20 miles. I met with them no less than 25 times. They gave me homework to do. Like a dog "Fetching". I comply. In any event, they back out, at the last minute. I filed in Small Claims and this is where the Judge Mathis Court picked it up. You know what? I contacted at least 4 attorneys for a case involving my wife and creditors that had gotten a judgement against her for a bad large debt. That class is free but they wouldn't give me one little piece of advice for free. They let you sit with the office person and she is the conduit. They aren't for the people. They are out for themselves! Bottom line, they want money. $1000.00 to represent me in a 2700.00 debt lawsuit by collectors. The attorneys love this stuff, easy money. It's really unfair for the consumer who doesn't have any idea how to fill out the court docs or represent themselves in court with a judge who is on the plaintiffs side, it seems to me!
