They have your usual produce as well as some interesting finds like dragonfruit, papaya, mangoes, and fun melon varieties. Their prices for staples like carrots and potatoes cannot be beaten! They do have varieties of meats as well, including Amish chicken. They carry Amish fry pies too, sometimes from Der Dutchman! We also love the fancy pastas available, and that they carry Original Bagel company bagels from Bohemia, NY (this New York girl is very particular about what she calls a good bagel!). We've been going here since before my baby girl was born in 2025, and we've been bringing her along with us since she was an infant. The staff recognizes her and is always so friendly and sweet with her, and she always enjoys shopping with us and picking out an 'emotional support fruit' to carry along on her shop. It IS important to note that the store is on the small side and that the aisles are quite narrow. It can also be packed during peak hours, so you just need some patience. It's worth it!

If I am in the Willowick area I will usually try to stop by Sweetberry Fresh Market to see what I can find. Sweetberry is a medium sized market with a large selection of produce and fruits, a full deli counter, butcher counter, bakery, groceries and prepared foods. Once you have parked you get your first taste of what is best and freshest since they have a display of vegies on sale on the side and front porch; which is open in the summer and covered in the winter. Inside you find a tightly packed market which is usually packed with people. The staff does a nice job of keeping things moving, but it can get a bit overwhelming and slow at times. I usually concentrate on the fruits and vegetables; prices are moderate, although I can usually find good deals on the sale items. For me I can pass on most of the other food, while they have a freezer of frozen fish and seafood, there is no fresh seafood. Most times I visit Sweetberry while the selection is good between the crowds and the prices, I either leave with nothing or just a couple of items. If you are in the area Sweetberry is a good alternative to the grocery stores, but probably not worth a special trip.

It angered me and had me wondering if she was blind as I'm obviously a male. Her apology was "things happen." It was only three shoppers scanning and she spent most of her time helping another dude and seemed irritated by my raised hand w/vocal help request. It appears every food market has at least one knucklehead on board. Btw, no cashiers, self checkout only. The food choices were good and had items not seen much in the area, like the lobster balls I copped. There are lots of tables where you can eat. If I worked nearby and got an hour to grub this would be my main lunch spot. I love the ambiance of the store. Being my first time I navigated each aisle to find out where things were. The free parking is as convenient as it gets and you can push your cart out to your car, unlike Marcs.

We had just come from the Yelpies (Yelp Awards) and I was dropping her off at her apartment but then I saw this market on the way so I stopped in. I had been meaning to visit Fairfax Market for a long time now so I'm glad that I finally got to visit. FOOD -- This is a huge grocery store with lots of food and drink options to choose from, such as snacks, meats (chicken, beef, fish), bread, milk, etc. I heard that they even have cooking demonstrations too. What I bought for all under $11 -- a big bunch of bok choy, 2 small stalks of broccoli, a small Arm and Hammer brand toothpaste, bananas, and 2 packages of tea biscuits. The bok choy was delicious that just recently, in April 2026, I drove by Fairfax and almost thought of going in to buy bok choy but I had a long day and I was too tired to stop. SERVICE -- My friend and I were greeted upon walking inside by a friendly security guard. Checking-out was easy and quick. I will be back whenever I am in the area again. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 24/250 total reviews in 2026 - 865 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 April 2026

Being on a health and wellness journey and making better healthier choices for food...Aldi's is my number 1 go to. The shopping cart, used by the cashier, is only accessible from one side as it is blocked-off on 3-sides. This means the shopper checking-out has the dual task of backing out the shopping cart with paid merchandise, then placing the shopping cart used for shopping in place of the removed cart as directed by the cashier. I think they do this to prevent other shoppers from taking the shopping cart, that is to be used for checked-out merchandise away to shop with. I only had 3-items and the cashier did not simplify and speed things up for me by not allowing me to place the recently paid for items in the shopping cart that I used for shopping, as his thought process was to start ringing-up items for the customer behind me. Very awkward and inconvenient for me as a shopper. Perhaps they do this to prevent derelicts from taking the cart away to get the 25-cents coin in the shopping cart coin slot.

First off, walking through the store I could smell weed. And no body was that close to me so I questioned if someone was actually using a pen inside the store. They were prepping for restocking but it was a mess. No order. Employees on the isles didn't greet you, but kept their music playing loudly (loved all the profanity!). And checkout was ridiculous. I was told (after I was already ringing up items) "No self-checkout!" on the self-checkout line that was green. The same person who shouted that, was standing right there as I walked up and started ringing up my items. And I walked past a handful of employees as I made my way back to the exit only to be told when I was almost there "You can't exit that way." Cool cool cool. Poor customer service. Messy store.
