I took my granddaughter to Memorial Hermann urgent care and was treated horribly, they looked down their nose at me when I told them that she was on Tricare Insurance, this is military insurance and should NEVER be looked down on, they also refused to take the insurance information that I had to give them, they kept asking for an Insurance card although I told them 3 or more times that children under 10 do not need a card per Tricare. Convenient Urgent Care knew exactly what to do and had no problem verifying her Insurance, we were in and out in less than an hour, everyone was extremely helpful and nice. Ladies in the front are not friendly or welcoming at all they look at you with an I dont care attitude. The nurse was the only one that was polite and caring. The NP walked in and looked irritated she asked me what she can do for me. I tried explaining the reason I went and she kept interrupting saying she had already read it on my file. She said there was nothing she could do for me. She said they couldn't do blood work or give me ivs there. I dont know why they offer iv under services then. She suggested I go to the ER, or go with my regular dr. On the way out she mentioned my weight and I explained I had lost weight due to my illness. I told her my kids liked me better like I am now. Her repsponse was girl you look like a skeleton. I want to believe she said it in a playful manner. But I am a recovered ED patient (13yrs) and comments like this still bother me and are very hurtful. read more

They misdiagnosed me a year ago. I've been keeping quiet but I know I need to not stay quiet to help others . I ended up having a really bad sinus infection but they had told me it was just allergies. It got way worse and turned into pneumonia. They also treated my brother poorly. I went for vomiting and diarrhea. The shot really worked. They too k no bloodwork to see if I had any type of virus but gave me 3 types of antibiotics. I look them up and 1 is to treat STDs. 2nd to treat Urinary tract infections and 3rd for chemotherapy patients nausea. I can see taking the 3rd for nausea but no way for the other 2 meds. Next time in my sickness I need to look at the ratings of a facility before going! read more

Having a first-time experience at a walk-in clinic was unnerving but this clinic was great! I called about prices beforehand and the nurse that answered was very polite and answered all of my questions. The clinic was clean and inviting, the staff was knowledgable and friendly. The only reason I give this clinic 4 stars instead of 5, was that I was unaware of an additional charge that would be applied for an extra test on a sample. I went today because my hand was swollen and I could barely move it. When I told the doctor what I had already done to try to help it he said there wasn't anything he could do to help and to keep taking my medication that I was already taking and it should begin to work. They charged me $75.00 just to tell me he couldn't do anything to help me but had the nerve to say if it didn't get better to come back. Why would I go back when you didn't do anything the first time. Just so you could charge me another $75 bucks. I don't think so. If you are going to spend the money, I suggest you pay it to someone that may do something to help you. read more

I never leave reviews. Never. I had an abscess removed this morning ( it was at the base of my tailbone) and I have never experienced pain this horrible. Never. But the doctor who performed the procedure (Dr. Pratishra Shakya) and the nurse Maria who held my hand, body, head and anything else while I needed support were incredible. When I say getting an abscess removed on the tailbone, hell even getting an abscess on the tailbone in general was a horrible experience, I mean I wouldn't wish the pain I went through on my worst enemy. But Dr. Shakya remained professional and patient while I was screaming and crying, and Maria held my hand talked me through everything. I thought I was gonna break her hand because the pain was more than I can handle. But (as corny as this sounds) I left feeling like I was taken care of by family that truly cared about me. The pain and procedure made this trip the worst experience of my life, but the personal care and professionalism given to me by Dr. Shakya and Maria made everything calm and comfortable. I'm always so nervous walking into a new place like this for an emergency, so I was so relieved when all the staff really seemed like they genuinely cared and wanted to help. They took great care of me and were all very friendly! Had to wait for about 45 minutes to an hour but for somewhere that doesn't take appointments that is very standard. Took my husband here this morning. The provider told him that he was starting to form bronchitis..He's been sick and coughing for a week. She would not give him a steroid shot. She would not give him cough syrup even though he's coughing like crazy with a raw throat. She said that the cough syrup would suppress his cough and she wants him to cough it up..I've never heard of this nonsense before. We've both had bronchitis before and were given a shot..meds..inhalers..the works. What was the purpose of paying to go here if you have to go elsewhere to get proper care? I'm not happy with this place at all! I had fever for 3 days and I was in a lot of pain! They gave me a antibiotics in pill form, also a shot of antibiotics! This was on a weekend a month ago, they couldn't get ahold of my insurance! I understood that, I pay a $30.00 co-pay with my insurance! They charged me $185.00 dollars, they were suppose to call me that following Monday! They didn't do that either, not only they were wrong about what was wrong with me! I've been to this clinic about six times since 2012 for care for myself and my child. I don't know why the other people had such issues as I have never had one. Yes, you do have to wait as they don't take appointments but the wait is the same as any other place. I think we have seen all the Doctors and Nurse Practitioners and each has been wonderful. We have always paid exactly what we were quoted and they always ask me prior to doing additional test which require more money. My daughter had a strep test done last year and it cost $15. This place went to hell after Gail Wells sold the Business! Front desk don't know what the hell is going on, different doctor from day to day, will cut off your maint. Meds without warning until blood test are done, tells you your particular doctor will be in on a certain day and the next day when you arrive they tell you she doesn't work there anymore! Now I'm waiting on my records so I can go elsewhere, although they want me to wait on a doctors approval! BS all the way!! I brought my daughter here for an EKG and labs ordered by another Dr. The front desk tried to charge me almost $300 dollars when my copay is only $20, EKG and labs were done in December and now it's February, the labs were never faxed to the ordering physician and when I called about it I found out that only half of the blood work was even ordered! Good Morning, I normally don't put a complaint on hospitals and urgent care clinics but I have to in this case. Wednesday I went to the urgent care clinic because I had a severe allergic reaction from removing some tree limbs and bushes in my back yard. I was taken to Wells urgent care because its close to my house. When I walked in the waiting area was ok but when go into the lab area I couldn't believe how dirty it was, I personally think hospitals and clinics should be spotless because all that they deal with. I am not recommending that no one go there but just for the clinic to take a little more care and keep the place clean and sanitary. read more

This place might have been a good clinic at one time but not any more, very unprofessional doctor in there today saw my daughter who came in with a bad cold wanting to make sure it wasn't strep, and after keeping her waiting for two hours in the waiting room, letting other emergencies go ahead of her, they treat her like crap, more concerned if she is pregnant , which is none of their business if she doesn't want to discuss it, than to treat her for the illness which she came in to see about, when they finally decide to take a look at that, they lose the first culture they take, the doctor comes back and sticks the swab so far down her throat that she chokes her and then leaves the room and doesn't even apologize!! How RUDE, Leaves her coughing up a lung in the room and doesn't even offer her a drink of water, NOTHING, I am two thousand miles away and very frustrated with this place, if I was there they would be dealing with me personally, I hope my daughter never goes there again! read more
