I typically enjoy the food and vibes here. The drinks are good and usually there's a good crowd and music. I ordered delivery the bayo classic. It was really good flavor overall but noticed a big chunk of meat in the dirty rice. When I broke the meat apart it still had pink in it. I was extremely disappointed by that!!!!! My favorite food to order here is the hot sausage poboy and my favorite drink s the watermelon long island. You can get it frozen with the daquiris or on tjhe rocks. I like on the rocks. IThe service is always good, I sit at the bar and the bartenders are attentive. They did a special request for me which was the fried alligator on a poboy :). It was slow so they had no problem. It was hot outside and I was in the mood for a daiquiri, so my friend and I decided on this restaurant. Upon walking in, I stood at the hostess counter for a good 3-5mins waiting to be seated. Little did I know the hostess was sitting at a high-top table on her phone. When she finally spoke to me and seated me, she was extremely nice and apologetic for the mini wait. I sat down and was browsing the menu before my friend arrived. My waiter, I'm not sure of his name, but he walked up to my table about 7mins after I was seated. I honestly thought he was a customer because he walked up to my table while holding a full conversation on his cell phone. Yea, I thought I was being punked for a second lol. But then he TOLD me he was going to take my order when my friend arrived. My friend arrived and it took the waiter about 10-12mins to come and take our order. The hostess came by on two different occasions to check and see if he'd come to take our orders yet, both times he had not. He eventually came and we placed our orders. I decided on the fried seafood rolls and the big easy pasta, without sausage. Annnddd a mango, peach, and watermelon daiquiri. To my utter surprise.... The food was delicious. My seafood rolls were stuffed with shrimp, crawfish, and crabmeat. When I say stuffed, I'm talking about plenty of seafood lol. The pasta was also really good. It did lack a little bit of saltiness, but that was nothing I couldn't fix by adding some adobo to when I got home. The daiquiri was also goooood. I ordered a 32oz and was able to take whatever I didn't finish home. I ended up drinking it the next day and it was just as good. I'm only giving 3-stars because of the service provided. I'm big on service!! Will I go back??? Probably so, but this time I'll sit at the bar because the bartender was extremely nice and attentive. She didn't not know my relation to him but refused me service because of her drama with my friend which had nothing to do with the business. She brung all her drama to work, arguing with the man, cussing in front of the children sitting here, on the phone with her friends in front of guest. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL GHETTO customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant!!! Plus she refuse to take my order or serve me in any way but she originally served him before I showed up! I ended up just leaving because their drama has nothing to do with me and she refused to serve me in any way, not even a water. I have no words for this customer service I've experienced today over something that has nothing to do with me but guilty by association. Whatever she had going on with my friend she obviously wasn't over and let it spill into her job. She is very poor representation of management and this restaurant. I think they poured the bbq sauce on top and sat it under the heat to warm . I got fried broccoli and collards . The fried broccoli was really good. The collards too, it was just cold (but I learned that if the food is good cold then it's flavored and savory . My bf ordered the red beans and rice with chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were juicy and good . The rice was alright but can be made at home not spectacular. The waitress didn't check on us so I had to go inside to ask her for condiments for the food she just dropped off. She was gone , and it wasn't busy. ... moral of this review . We didn't have many options on a Monday night . They closed at 1 . Last call for food and drinks was 1230. Oh and I ordered a suicide daiquiri and extra shot. I've seen New Orleans Daquiri Bar & Grill a trillion times but am always too busy to stop. My uncles had nothing but good things to say about it but especially that the daiquiris can be to go, which is always something I miss about home while in other places. I flew into Atlanta recently and me and mom decided to grab a preliminary meal (that sounds fancy, don't it? ) at the Old Nat'l location (they also have a Tara Blvd location in Jonesboro). I ordered the Who Dat (Hennessy, Grand Marnier and Sweet & Sour), while mom got just a strawberry daiquiri. These drinks were strong and the cup size was actually really good. For food I ordered boudin balls for the table, then a 10 pc honey garlic wing. Mom ordered the red beans and rice w/ grilled porkchops and a side of dirty rice. Unfortunately, mom also has a seafood allergy and the seasoning on the porkchops had a slightly fishy undertone so she wasn't able to eat them. I did though, and they were delicious! She loved the red beans & rice. We both weren't too thrilled about the dirty rice, but that's more of a picky palate issue. The boudin balls and honey garlic wings were really fresh and good! The wings are served with fries and hush puppies. I would order it all again because those hush puppies were a pleasant surprise. There's plenty of parking and a decent amount of seating but I'd suggest you get there early. It fills up quickly. If you go, ask for JJ. He's funny, thorough and extremely multifaceted because I swore he was working every position that day. All in all, I'll definitely be back but with my bestie, not my mama. We ordered lobster pasta and red beans and rice wit catfish. The lobster pasta was a very spicy I think it needs to be turned down just a notch, so everybody can enjoy it, but it WAS packed with flavor. The oysters were amazing, they was so good yakk!!! I visited New Orleans Daquiri for the first time this past weekend and I wasn't too impressed. The service was okay outside of the fact that the servers didn't really know the menu. My friend goes often and tried to explain that a drink she requested was not what was given. After going back and forth my friend ended up just visiting the bar and asking the bartender who confirmed that was not the correct drink and she possibly made it wrong by accident. No biggie, we're human mistakes happen. My concern is the lack of training because customers shouldn't have to go back and forth, it should just be noted and corrected especially if it's not right and you're not 100% confident in it being right. Also, for them to be serving alcohol the servers looked pretty young so I wasn't too much into that. Then the music was a mess... Chile they was using Spotify or YouTube or something with commercials in it and it was like they would play their favorite parts of a song and then change it like we were riding in their car. Lol, that's not what you do during business hours if you have no DJ. They would've been better off just making a playlist and letting it run it's course. Lastly, the food was like fake New Orleans style dishes. The Big Easy Pasta is what I had and it was dry, lacking in meat, and just all around a waste of money. The sauce didn't even have flavor it was very bland and the noodles were tough and almost not cooked long enough. It gave me "New Orleans Inspired, Caucasian made pasta" All in all, I won't be back because the only thing they had going for them that was actually good was the daiquiris and I can get that at Blu or Cirque and save myself the ride! read more

My daughter and I ordered from here 07/21 through Door Dash. We ordered one of those pasta dishes, a catfish platter and the cheese steak eggrolls. The driver said the pasta dish did not have a lid on it so when he slammed on breaks the pasta and sauce went everywhere in the bag. Who packs food without a lid? I was so heated. To add insult to injury when you call them the phone line states they are not available. We called repeatedly. Never got through to them at all. The Catfish Platter was not hit in the least. I don't expect delivery food to be smoking hot but I don't expect it to be cold either. The fish was pretty but had zero flavor. The fries were lack luster. I have been to New Orleans and had Cajun Ranch Fries before. This ain't it. The only good thing was the cheese steak rolls. They were made with real steak but would have been the bomb if it were hot.
