This place is filled with a bunch of weak people. They sent me a CERTIFIED letter stating they no longer wanted to work with me due to the fact I questioned their policy of 48hrs cancellation days. They couldn't even tell me to my face. Not even an email. Not adults. Just a bunch of weak people. Their dentistry isn't even all that great sending me to a surgeon for him to tell me they were wrong. They don't work Fridays so they don't consider that a working day. Watch out cause their 48 hrs is actually 6 days. Women up front can't even take criticism. Ran to their boss to be comforted. $250 cancellation fee for less than 48 hrs. This was a Thurs when they told me and my dentist appt was Tues. Thats well beyond 48hrs but again, they don't work Fridays. Also, they also added to my partial, which doesn't fit and they refuse to fix it and told me to go somewhere else. So their work is shit and their policy is hidden in their paperwork. So, a bunch of over sensitive women who can't tell you and have to send you a letter. Really??? I hope they read this, call me. Can't wait but they won't. No back bone and weak dentistry. Def not sending anyone their way. Massive failure in dentistry. read more

Really disappointed in how this ended. I have been going to Cook Family Dentistry for a few years now. Dr. Cook is very nice, gentle, and did not shame me for anything wrong with my teeth. Which I really appreciate. In August, I called because I was having some tooth pain. I went in, got an X-ray, she took some pictures, poked it, and said it looked fine. Ok. The following week the pain was unbearable. I called and their next available appointment was a week away. That was frustrating, but it is what it is. That was a Thursday. The pain only worsened. I called the emergency line on Saturday and left a message asking for help/advice. I was literally sobbing through half of the message. She did not call or text me back. I called again on Sunday and left a message begging for a call back or text. I needed help. Again, no response. I was able to get in on the following Tuesday, where again I got an X-ray and she performed tests to the tooth to see if the roots had died. She suspected I needed a root canal and gave me a referral. So...why did she not perform these tests the first time I came in? Why have an emergency line if you a)don't answer and b)don't respond? Dr. Cook never addressed my messages. The front desk said "yeah, she was out of town". No apology offered, no explanation of how their emergency line worked - nothing. When I left the practice and transferred my care to a different dentist, they asked how they could have served me better. So I explained this situation in great detail. Zero response. Literally NOTHING. Needless to say I won't ever be going back, and cannot recommend this dentist to anyone. Again, so disappointed in how this turned out. Incredibly Ableist. As soon as she discovered I was Autistic, she demanded I sign a paper letting her talk to my *parents* about my treatment instead of me even though I'm an adult. I was referred to Dr. Cook when my former dentist retired, and am very happy with Dr.Cook and the whole staff. Her office is clean and professional, yet inviting, too (considering its a dental office...). I visited this office today after not having been to the dentist for far too long. I was super nervous and in a large amount of pain. It can be nerve wrecking to go to the dentist knowing you haven't been taking good care of your teeth. When I called to schedule the appointment, Lana told me to be sure to call back if my pain got any worse. I did and was able to get in for an earlier appointment and she was glad I came in sooner than I planned. It was a pleasure to speak with her when I arrived and she was super sweet. Once I got to the back and sat down, Stephanie and Dr. Cook took GREAT care of me!!! They made me feel so comfortable and gave me a step by step of what was happening during my visit. I left with no pain and a confident feeling about working toward a better smile. It can be intimidating going to the dentist but my experience with this office was one of a kind. I would give everyone that works here a 12 star review. Why? When was the last time you were greeted (Lori) in a warm and sincere manner, was given a teeth cleaning by an experienced Dental Hygienist (Elizabeth) that takes her time to do a great job and explained in detail what she is doing and is concerned that you're comfortable. Then while waiting only minutes for Amy Cook (my dentist) she offered me a magazine while I was waiting. Dr Cook also was very detailed when she examined my teeth and made very good recommendations. She also explained what she was seeing on the x-Rays and what needed to be done within a reasonable time. Cook Family Dentistry was recommended to me and my husband by a neighbor. What better way to find a great family dental office? We have only lived here for four months from out of state and I can honestly say that today I received the best dental care EVER. Instead of dreading my next visit, I will be looking forward to seeing everyone and will know that I couldn't have anyone better to take care of my family's dental needs. Got referred by a friend and I'm glad I did! They have been excellent all around. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Amy has done a great job with my fillings (5 of them so far) and is very professional but makes me feel comfortable at the same time... unlike some dentists I've been to. One last thing i also liked was that they will go over the pictures of your dental work so you can get filled in (pun intended) on exactly whats going on. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist but Cook Family Dentistry definitely makes it as good of an experience as it can be. read more

I have been seeing this Dentistry for many years and they have always been friendly and I was satisfied. I went in for a crown and they drilled it and took ex-rays to send off. The assistant first put the rope or material around my tooth to take ex-ray. It was painful and then the ex-ray machine malfunctioned. Therefore, she couldn't get it working and I was stuck there waiting for her to get it restarted, in the meantime she was yanking the rope around my tooth and finally she started taking pictures of the tooth to send off for the impression to have a permanent tooth made. She then tells me good job, I endured all that! She then puts the temporary on. I was in pain for several days thinking well it just needs to heal. Then I receive a call from Cooks office that the ex-ray was not satisfactory and I need to come back in so they can redo it. That means taking of temporary crown off and going through the rope around my tooth again and enduring more pain. I tell them my tooth has not even healed yet it is all bruised and in major pain. Ashley, the receptionist tells me oh this sometimes happens that they have to redo photos. Well in all my years I have never had to redo photos for a crown! (My husband has crowns as well and has never had this happen either). Meanwhile they made my pay half for the first visit. Not sure what to do next! read more

Every single person here is genuinely extremely kind and caring. I have been coming here for years and even on my first visit it felt like I was coming to friends and family to hang out. I am extremely happy that my dad recommended them to me and I recommend everyone reading this to come check them out. I was looking for a new dentist office and then found this one. The call to make the appointment was amazing. They were so nice and definitely welcomed me into their office. I arrived today and the staff were so nice and welcoming in person. I filled out my papers, waited a few minutes and was brought back. Jenny the hygienist was AMAZING. I have very sensitive gums and she did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable during my whole cleaning. Dr. Cook was amazing as well. She went over all my teeth with me and went over all my concerns 1 at a time. She took the time to see what was bothering me and what was great. ok. so, first appointment in the beginning, i almost ran out of there. the hygenist was a substitute..or a floater, if you will. she was very nervous , this not being her normal office ok i get that , you know...bot knowing their way ect....but.... she couldnt get my info to load on the monitor in front of us..preparing to take x rays...finally getting to that horrible part of the visit....i gag real easy..but she acted like i was her first patient ever...she bonked me in the head twice...twice.......really? yes... im thinking oh no..she will be using sharp cleaning tools in my tender mouth.....so finally we give up on all the x rays...got enough for dentist to get the jist of things....thank gosh this part is over... so i wait for this dentist ive never met...im anxiously awaiting to see what sweet hell is next...well....dr phillips is so wonderfull.extremly gentle. i was so relieved to have found a dental angel...always asking if im comfortable..am i doing ok..ect...for this reason this first visit is all of 5 stars ..for the dentist only...and 5 stars for front desk ladies...so kind and clearly inform you about treatment plans and payment arrangements....this is great. ..so i needed to come back 2 weeks later...which is today 2.22.16 for 2 back teeth to be extracted..i was nervous but when i saw the actual hygenist call me back i was relieved it wasnt nervous nellie....donna, i think is what her name is...so gentle and caring.. she is awesome...then she assisted dr.phillips with the oral surgery.. practically didnt feel a thing...offered more numbing stuff ...i accepted...haha....but it was as pleasant as this kind of thing can be..thank you dr.phillips , hygenist donna. hope i got your name right..the valium made things fuzzy...haha..i will reccomed this dentist office to others. thank you for making me comfortable and relaxed.. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office. I walked in as a new patient at 440pm on Friday when they closed at 5pm with tooth pain on the right side. Rose at the front desk helped me get in to see Dr. Kiss where they took Xrays cleaned out my tooth and put a temp filling in to protect it through the weekend so I wouldn't be in pain anymore. They were so helpful and kind I honestly cannot see ever going anywhere else. I am so glad I finally found a great dentist. Thank you so much to those wonderful people there. read more

Dr. Cook is running a negligent and careless practice. I went in for a crown replacement which was recommended by Dr. Cook after taking a full mouth x-ray which was not readable (she acknowledge her machine was not working properly). Her assistant started the prep and after Dr. Cook finished the prep, she placed the temporary crown without Dr. Cook's supervision. I went back complaining that my bite was off and was seen by Dr. Cook's assistant who confirmed the crown was placed low. Unfortunately, the assistant did not document that the crown was placed low and when Dr. Cook went to place the final crown, she placed it low and did not match the original crown, even after I complained about my bite. Dr. Cook then shaved one side of the crown without checking the bite, even though I mentioned that the upper teeth were not touching the crown. I have also mentioned to Dr. Cook the advice given by her assistant to use clove oil on my tooth as she recommended it as a natural alternative to reduce tooth pain instead of taking ibuprofen. When I tried the clove oil, my tooth pulp burned for two full days with excruciating pain. When I mentioned this to Dr. Cook, her response was that no one from her office would have said such a thing. Dr. Cook tried to adjust my bite, but in doing so, she shaved my upper left molars and the bottom molar to the same height as the crown, so that my upper left and bottom molars no longer touch. This has greatly affected my bite and my quality of life as I am not able to chew on my left side. This experience has brought me a lot of pain and I am still shocked how a professional dentist would be so careless as to take away one's ability to use their teeth properly. I am currently reviewing my options and plan on taking legal action against this practice. read more

Amy Cook has treated me absolutely competently for many years. I've never had one problem with any dental work or in-office pain management protocol and, as an added bonus, her referrals to colleagues for specialized care have resulted in equally excellent treatment. On the opposite end of the age spectrum, my young grandchildren have received treatment (including fillings) with her for a year. The kids just adore her. She and her entire staff are unfailingly knowledgeable, highly skilled, and genuinely hospitable and caring. read more
