My fries where also dry and tasted reheated, the dry ass chicken wrap with 3 grains of cheese n hardly any lettuce nasty. The food does come out fast, but with lack of substance I guess that's why. I had never been here before and won't go back. I had been searching for a place to eat lunch on my lunch break since I was new to this area. I was passing this place and said hey why not stop in. Best decision I ever made. My order was taken quickly and food came even quicker and it was STILL hot. They have amazing deals and I must say that this is the best burger that I've ever had in my life! Saw this place near my hotel and had to give a try. Cookout tray gives you 2 sides sandwich and a drink. Great tasting burger, thickest milkshake I have ever had and tasty onion rings. The fries had been sitting so they were dried out. If they had been fresh, they would have been good. Many more things I want to try on this menu. Prices are pretty cheap! I'm giving them a 2 because of their customer service. We order 3 shakes... it took close to 30 min?!? People behind us with large orders were getting their food before us. Someone came back in because they got her shake wrong and replaced it right away. Finally 10 orders after ours that had 3 shakes plus food, we said we ordered wayyy before them. Stopped in for an early lunch after hearing about this place from a friend. The food is better than your typical burger joint, and they have super choices. Just the basic "tray" was only $4.99 (plus tax) and I got a double burger, chicken wrap, and onion rings, plus a large drink. I was blown away at all the food for only $5. Everything tasted good. Nothing was a stand-out and that is the reason for only 4 STARS. This is a step above the other burger places out there, and if I worked in that area I could visit this place a few times a week because they have many choices, and it will still only cost you $5 for lunch. I walked in and ordered two cookout trays for my fiancee and I, and when I picked up my food I asked for a honey mustard (like I always do) I was refused two packs. I ordered two trays. I think they could give one packet per customer. The lady's at the counter were very rude since I walked in and I was so taken back. I will never return back here. I frequent the Cookout in Athens when I'm at UGA and I was excited to see they were building one in kennesaw! Dining in is great...tons of Kennesaw State memorabilia but the drive thru takes quite a while. Usually wrapped around the building. As a student cookout become quite the place, it was extremely affordable, the food was great, and you get a lot of food for the price you pay. However, a few things went wrong the many times that I went there. They got my burger order messed up probably 5 different times & then i ordered a chocolate shake once and they gave me a banana shake. I never said anything because I would always go through the drive-thru and didn't have time to check & I wouldn't realize it until I got home. Plus the food was so cheap I felt like I couldn't really complain at all. As I'm not big on complaining and/or writing negative reviews. On this last time I went ...& I do mean LAST... I got food poisoning from their burger I'm sure (Out West Style). And this is why I rated this restaurant with 1 star.
