I've always liked Five Guys for what it is, but this location seriously caught me off guard on price and checkout transparency. We ordered 3 burgers, drinks, and fries and the total was $70+, which is already wild for fast food. On top of that, when you pay, it prompts you for a tip, which feels ridiculous considering it's counter service. What really bothered me most was the receipt -- there were fees listed that weren't clear, so it wasn't obvious what we were being charged for outside of the actual food. I ordered Five Guys January 1st through the website for delivery. The delivery went through Doordash. The first driver arrived at the restaurant and finally left "without picking up my order." A 2nd driver arrived and same thing. A 3rd driver was assigned, but she called to let me know the first driver had picked up my order. I called the restaurant and talked with Megan, a manager. She apologized repeatedly and said the same driver had done the same thing the day before. She remade my food and I went to pick it up since the order had been cancelled and a new driver was never assigned. When I showed up, my food was ready. Great burger spot! Burgers are fresh and cooked to order. Plus, they have plenty of toppings for you to chose from. There's plenty of seating and peanuts are available for you to snack on while you wait. I only waited for about 5 minutes and grabbed my burger to go. The bun was warm, the parties were juicy, and the cheese was melted. I added quite a few toppings, so the burger got a little messy. But what's a good burger without a few toppings falling off the side??! This spot is on the pricey side, over $8 for a cheeseburger. But the burger is a nice size, you pick your own toppings, and it's not sitting under a lamp getting dry. I didn't get any fries. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I used their online app to order a burger for my son (who was starving after a swim meet) and my wife, who was at home. The app said our dinner was ready, but we still had to wait another 7 minutes to get our meal, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy (there were about 4 or 5 tables with people). We finally got our meal, verified that there were two burgers in bag, and left. When we got home, my wife opened up her burger to find... NO BURGER! I checked my son's double burger, and... NO BURGERS! I immediately called the restaurant and their solution was to have me drive back (20 minutes each way) or put my name in a book of incorrect orders so they can give me a free meal later. That did nothing for our dinner that night. Thankfully, my other son was out and I called him to stop by Publix and get some meat so we could cook our own burgers. I proposed that they use Door Dash to send me a correct order, but the manager said he couldn't do that, and began to give me attitude about their mistake. The burgers are delicious. I like how they have a list of toppings right in front of the cashier. I find it helpful. The fries are a bit too greasy for me but they are thick so it balances with the grease so it's more enjoyable. The prices are a bit more expensive than most burger joints but the food quality is good. They give you a ton of fries. YAAASSS. The workers were very nice, fast and quick service. I ordered two burgers both with mushrooms and onions. They both came without mushrooms and onions. Fine, I thought, everybody makes mistakes. I went back up with both burgers and asked nicely if they could put mushrooms and onions on my burger since they forgot. Instead of adding the mushrooms and onions, they gave me a pile of mushrooms and pile of onions to put on my burger instead. Far fewer employees this time, and service was good with not too many customers at noontime on a Saturday. This place is the best! We love Five Guys but this location goes above and beyond! They are SO nice and the food is always delicious! Tonight I watched Tommy hand each customer their order instead of calling out numbers. That means he was paying attention to who ordered and cared enough to walk it over...that to me is 5 Star! Then the burger was juicy and the fries were salted perfect and a little crispy so in taste 5 Stars! Cleanliness and everything being stocked that's 5 Star! And this isn't the first time. Plus we have little ones and food allergies/medical dietary restrictions so we're not the people who usually get treated well if I'm being honest. Pretty standard burger joint! Not super high end but a step up from your burger king and mcdonalds. Interior/service: classic diner, white interior. Service was simple and the cashier was very kind. Food took about 10 minutes. Food: Little pricier cuz they have no meals or combo deals. Simple burgers and hot dogs with ample choices of toppings. If you ask for "everything" on your burger, they give you all the standard stuff. I especially liked their pickles (sweeter and less sour than normal pickles). This is the first time that we have been to this particular Five Guys location and our experience was much better than the previous location that we visited in Nashville. The food is always good although the customer service at this location is much better than what we experienced in Nashville. Unless you are into competitive eating, I would say order about half of what you would normally order at any other place because you definitely get your money's worth here. I got a "regular" sized bacon cheeseburger with everything on it and the wife got a smaller sized burger and we split one order of French fries. They definitely don't cheat you on the fries here,LOL. This location is located near Kennesaw State University and there were a lot of students in here when we stopped by (not a bad thing, just sayin'). The whole area where this is located looks like fairly new construction and there are quite a few other restaurants here that looks like they are worth trying out. The only bad thing that I would say is that I like my burgers a little thicker than what they serve here but I could say that applies to just about any commercial burger joint. If you've never been to a Five Guys, you should give it a shot. read more

I have such a deep love for Five Burgers but I have gone to this location a handful of times and every time, they seem to disappoint me. One time I visited this location, the burgers tasted old. Decided to give them another chance. The cheeseburger I received on a different day was unappetizing. It seems as if they forgot to melt the cheese and just slapped some sliced cheese and called it a day. I could have gotten a better burger from McDonalds for half the cost. They told me they aren't allowed to melt the cheese, so why is it that any other location I have visited they have always melted the cheese? Not too much I can say about this place. Picked up some food on a rainy day, at a very odd time for lunch so there weren't many people inside. I ordered one of the "little" burgers and the bf ordered the regular and they were the right portions for both of us. Threw in a regular order of fries on top just as a precaution, in case we didn't get full off of just the burgers. In case you didn't know, the burgers and dogs are completely customizable and you can add as many toppings as you please for no extra charge -- after you pay for the type of burger/dog you want (i.e. hamburger, cheeseburger/dog, bacon cheeseburger/dog, etc). As for the food itself, it was good.. but super greasy as other people mentioned. And after a little while, I got tired of eating the fries and threw it away. Service was good, too. The burger was indeed delish, the bun was the softest ever, and the staff, even right at closing was chipper, chipper, chipper! Enjoyed it! It wasn't my Whataburger, and a burger and fries with NO drink cost $10 (dang!), but hey, it was GOOD, it's right in my neighborhood, and I can see that I'll be a regular.
