Absolutely the WORST. Wait time was long, food was cold, and I was overcharged $3 if you go by the posted menu price. Hotdog buns were so dried out and hard on one end, I had to tear off the ends. Hot dogs were so thin, there was hardly any hotdog there. Chili must have been 5 days old. Fries cold and mushy. NEVER AGAIN. read more

This one needs a bit of work honestly. Fast food is fast food; expect what you pay for (mostly). I've traveled a bit and lived in several states. I've visited Cook-Out locations in at least 3 of those states. Thus particular franchise seems to be the most unorganized and inconsistent of them all. Food is regularly wrong and/or missing. Not hot enough, prepped incorrectly, thrown into bags upside down, seasoning literally poured in one area leaving that portion of food overseasoned while the rest had none. Missing condiments. It's really just a shot in the dark here; you never know. There are way too many burger joint/fast food options in Morganton to visit rather than continuing to support such poor quality and customer service. Additionally, the recent stench of trash that's been present the last two visits...someone seriously needs to look into that. You drive up to pick up your food and you're greeted with the smell of hot, old, garbage. My bacon cheddar hot dog probably would have been super yummy if it wasn't an orange/pink mystery meat. The mystery makes it a little questionable and definitely more of 2.5 star hotdog rather than a 4 or 5. read more

Ate food from there last Saturday and the food was not as good as it usually is. My wife and I get the 1/4 lb. burger with chili, slaw, mustard, and onions. The meat was not seasoned much and they were skimpy with the slaw and chili. The fries were ok as they were in need of salt. The onion rings were fantastic as usual. The food is normally outstanding but the last time was just average. I will say that we will give them another try very soon. read more

We don't go here much, but this will be the last time. We discussed the order with the window lady at least eight times and she still got it wrong. I just went through the drive thru the lady had to ask us to repeat our order several times which is absolutely fine. I work in fast food and know how hard it is to hear some people. When i got to the window they handed me my order I pulled out a bag out of the big plastic bag they handed me and it was full of soda! My chicken wrap was drenched the soda poured all over my lap. They told me it would be a minute for my shakes and closed the window meanwhile for a good 5-6 minutes I'm holding a bag out of my car window that is again full of soda! They finally come back to the window and I tell them that the bag was full of soda there was no shock on their face there was not a I'm sorry or anything! I left and have been calling the store to try and talk to someone about it but absolutely no one will answer. In my 4 years of fast food work I have NEVER handed a bag out of the window filled with soda! I 100% believe it was intentional. You literally cannot make this stuff up. Do not eat here at night. Or maybe even at all. Also they got our shake wrong and made the wrap plain. I am extremely disappointed. read more

Prices are very fair. Shakes are pretty good. I won't get the chicken sandwich again though. The bun dwarfed the piece of chicken.
