My husband and I ate here last week. It was our first time at this restaurant. The service was excellent. The waitress was very busy, but she came by often to make sure we were doing good. It's a very conservative restaurant so if you're a liberal person, look past the pro Trump, pro life stuff. We wanted to try the infamous "Livermush" and this place had it on the menu. It's a no frills restaurant and breakfast cuts off at 10:30. We just made it for breakfast but unfortunately they ran out of grits. Breakfast came with coffee and cost only $4.85! Insanely inexpensive. Two of us are for less than $10 so I gave a really nice tip to the hard working lady. read more

Food is cheap just like the quality. Eggs have rubbery texture, pancakes taste like dog, and the meat is severely undercooked! How you mess up the basic breakfast is beyond me!! I've been meaning to leave a review for Judy's for awhile now -- only I keep forgetting, probably because I only go there a few times a year. They're super close to home, but seeing they close at 2pm, and that's usually when I go out to avoid the lunch rush, so it's purely about timing and nothing to do with their food & quality. I've eaten there about a half dozen times, and each time I left feeling glad to have gone there. Their food is typical for a local joint, where you've got the usual burgers, BLT's, and daily specials which is food I always wind up feeling like I'm glad I went. I'd imagine they serve great breakfasts. The place is always super clean, and the staff are what I'd call "Lenoir friendly" -- IOW, nice as nice can be! This is NOT a place to go if you're vegan or vegetarian, or worried about gluten... I seriously doubt you'd be the least bit disappointed if you ate there. Keep your eyes peeled while driving, or you'll blow right by. I've been there often enough to know, but I still manage to drive a mile past Judy's before I realize I flew right by! read more

We moved here a little over a year ago and because it's close to our new house we come here often. It's always packed, the owner (Angela) and the waitstaff is friendly and makes sure your food is perfect, they have a great menu and great prices, and the food is always tasty. If your order is wrong they fix it super quick. I hate the broken toast reviewer posted such a bad review. They would have made it right. I've never had old toast here, so it was probably just crispy. read more

Just started working in Lenoir and needed a good hole in the wall breakfast spot. I found it! The prices of the food were terrific. The service from Tasha(sp) was superb. My sausage and cheese omelet was delicious. The pancake which I saw someone else get was as big as the plate. It will be my next meal. I love these types of diners. My wife and I go to Judy's as often as possible. If you want ambiance (other than extremely friendly down home) go somewhere else and pay extra for it. If you want good home cooking at very! affordable prices, Judy's can't be beat. All the staff is wonderful and now Nancy and I call it home. It's wonderful to dine with friends. We originally stopped because everyday when we passed by in the morning it was filled with cars and pick up trucks. That caught my attention and soon after we forsook our other haunts for breakfast or lunch to give Judy's a try. We've never looked back. read more
