When in Lenoir, EAT BREAKFAST AT JUDY'S. The 2 Egg specials are tasty, filling, and a HARD TO BEAT A VALUE here at Judy's. Now you don't come in here expecting to have a lively conversation about gun rights and/or the virtues of socialism. But if you want some magnificent service with a true hometown flavor, you're not going to find a better spot to eat in Lenoir, NC. GOOD Strong COFFEE, farmFRESH EGGS, AND THIN-SLICED CRISPY LIVERMUSH on request. Yum!

sausage gravy biscuit, liver mush, home fries, 2 scrambled eggs and toast (sweet tea) $4.50

The home fries are some of the best I've had, super flavorful homemade gravy and huge portions! Also have big thick pancakes! 10/10

We moved here a little over a year ago and because it's close to our new house we come here often. It's always packed, the owner (Angela) and the waitstaff is friendly and makes sure your food is perfect, they have a great menu and great prices, and the food is always tasty. If your order is wrong they fix it super quick. I hate the broken toast reviewer posted such a bad review. They would have made it right. I've never had old toast here, so it was probably just crispy.

I had my friend to stop by to get us a breakfast sandwich, the bread was so old and hard it broke like glass before he got to work with them.

Bacon gravy, sausage gravy or white gravy, this many gravy options makes this my happy place

The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with a modern meets classic charm that sets the tone for a thoughtful dining experience. I had my eye on the shrimp gnocchi, which several reviewers rave about, but unfortunately it was unavailable that day. We started with side Caesars which was fresh and crisp, though fairly standard. I ordered the Jadore Chicken Garden Salad and asked if I could substitute grilled chicken for crispy, but was told no. Oddly, when the salad arrived, it had grilled chicken after all. It was good, just not particularly memorable. My husband had the steak and eggs, which he said were cooked perfectly. Again, solid execution, but nothing that stood out. That said, the overall quality of the main courses was very good. Looking over the dinner menu, we are eager to come back in the evening. The real magic happened at dessert. We overheard a staff member mention that one of the women behind the counter makes many of the desserts herself, and she may be from Italy. Our server couldn't stop praising her crème brûlée and key lime tart, so we had to try both. The crème brûlée was smooth and flavorful, though a bit softer than I prefer. But the key lime tart? Absolutely phenomenal. My husband, a Tampa native and self-proclaimed key lime aficionado, broke his keto diet for it--and declared it one of the best he's ever had. I don't usually like key lime, but even I was impressed. Tangy, creamy, and perfectly balanced--it's a must-try if you're anywhere near Hudson. Service was friendly, and while there were a few small hiccups, the warmth and pride the staff take in their food really shines through. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and to get another slice of that unforgettable tart.

I was surpised to see there was one cook, Chris, cooking all the food. He made an awesome Cheese Burger . I would without a doubt recommend his cooking. The restaurant was clean and organized. I like the blue marble effect they have on the counters/tables and surf board on the front wall. Quiet, hometown feeling. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked. The waitresses greeted me with a smile and were friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want some good food, the only negative thing that I found about the place was the fact that it closes at 2:00 p.m. daily.

The operator as very patience with us as we told her this is our first time ordering biscuits from this establishment. We ordered the spicy chicken honey biscuit with a side of hashbrown and dressed vanilla iced latte which was so good! I am not a biscuit person but their biscuit is so warm, fluffy, and the spicy chicken honey and hashbrown were cooked well, not greasy and tasted delicious! We also ordered the bacon-egg-cheese biscuit ; sausage-egg-cheese biscuits, sausage egg biscuit combo. The biscuits is scratch-made fresh from the oven biscuit with naturally raised chicken from family owned farms in SC and GA! Locally sourced honey from NC! This is what I am looking forward when I buy food, locally source, family owned farms. Everyone was happy with their food and for the first timer we approve the biscuits from here! Also, this is the first time we saw sanitary rate for this place is 100! Come one! That's awesome. Good food, clean kitchen/place, and friendly costumer service!
