Previously given this place four stars, but I've bumped it up to five. For fast food they don't get enough credit for how good their milkshakes really are.

I have always heard great things about Cook Out, so I decided to stop here for some late-night bites and a milkshake. There was a line, but it moved very quickly. There was also plenty of seating inside the restaurant. The menu is large, with lots of options for the plates. I settled on a jr. plate with a cheese quesadilla, onion rings, coleslaw, and a diet coke. I also tried some hushpuppies off a friend's plate, and they were delicious. I also ordered an Oreo milkshake to share with my husband. The food came out quickly, and was served in to-go containers. Everything was hot, and you could tell the frying oil wasn't old. Everything was okay, not great, but it seemed like the food would be great after a night out. The milkshake was delicious though, and so thick that you had to eat it with a spoon. They had over 45 milkshake flavors, so everyone could find something they want.

Cook out is famous for a reason. prices are amazing, food was great and had lots of selections especially with the milkshakes. Quesadilla was a bit small but for like $2 it makes sense. service and food was made very fast and tasted very fresh. reminds me of a five guys burger but not falling apart. great place to get a cheap tasty meal.

It's basically fast food with less flavor. Very dry thin burger patties. Unspicy spicy chicken. Crappy fries At least it's cheap.

The worst possible place anybody could go to eat. Don't waste your 20 bucks like we did. Burgers are so small they're almost microscopic.

A reminder of the days when men and women dressed with class and wore hats and coats to dinner.. Mills has this inherent 50s vibe, but the menu is quite up-to-date and everything is delicious. You can't go wrong with the burgers, I'm just telling you they've got something for everyone's taste. Even the sides don't disappoint, and the milkshakes are enough for two people, at least it was enough for the two of us. My engine rings were fantastic, breaded to perfection, and plenty of them came with my meal. Our waitress was tremendous also, quick drink refills, brought our food, hot, and prepared to give helpful and delicious recommendations from the menu. They do sell their merchandise at the checkout, but what do you expect, this is pigeon Forge for goodness sake! Everyone is Hawking their stuff . We are definitely planning on coming back and trying something different. Their menu is diverse and I think that we could come back for years and never have the same thing twice.

The staff was running back and fourth, overall the wait time was not and at all. I had a chili, cheese, mushroom, back, burger, onion rings, and a root beer float. The service was decent, the food was ok, not greatest but not the best I've had either. I wouldn't mind returning and trying something else next time.

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something. To diners with pups: You want "pet friendly"? Skip this place.

I was having a rough day & chose Sunliner to try & make me feel better. Upon walking in I saw two full size car booths & a jukebox. The vibe was exactly what I was looking for. I'm happy to say we got HUNNY as our server & she was the best & she cheered me right up. She was wearing a bright yellow dress & singing along with the jukebox. We talked doo-wop songs & I got recommendations for what to order. I decided on Country Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatos & it did not disappoint. The shakes are also really good & come with a waffle on top. We ended up going back the next day (HUNNY was off) but we still had a nice time.
