Food was delicious I got the pork ribs, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The coleslaw had little to no sauce and the mac and cheese was nothing special. I love how they give you options on what sauce you can add to your meat. My fiance got the catfish with creamed corn. The creamed corn was amazing and the catfish was decent as well. Our server wasn't very talkative but he was very attentive. The ambiance is very western and fun. Overall the food was pretty good and I would definitely come again! Bobby Jacks recently opened and we had a nice visit overall. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming and the service was spot on. The BBQ needs a little work. It was good, but not great. The brisket was tender, the chicken was good, and the pulled pork ok also. The cornbread was bland and needs to be changed to a different recipe. We went on a Saturday evening during a truck show and the place was almost empty! We were seated right away. I don't know if it was because they were slow or what but our waiter aggravated us to death about ordering. He acted this way until we finally left. We started out with the sampler as an appetizer. I thought the deviled eggs stole the show but the sausage and pimento cheese was good too! I got the Tennessee BLT which was a thick cut bologna sandwich! When we got out of our car, the bbq smelled soo good! Walked in on a Thursday evening, it wasn't packed and we were seated immediately. Our servers were amazing, from start to finish. They have this annoying paper towel holder that you cannot move, glued and or nailed to the center of every table. I hated that. A plus, is that nothing on the menu was over $20.95. However, the portion sizes are that of a kids meal. The flavors were actually good. What was suspect is that it took less than 10 mins and our food came out. I'm sure nothing is fresh or cooked to order, greens were hot like microwave hot. They vinegar base everthing, so if you dont like that, then this might not be for you. The, greens and brisket were really good, the ribs were drenched in sauce and tough. The carolina bbq sauce is pure vinegar and the gold taste like a vinegar/mustard blend. We wanted BBQ and this looked like a good place to stop for dinner. The parking lot was pretty empty and it was a Friday night at around 6:30. That should have told us all we needed to know but we went in for dinner anyway. The service was great absolutely no complaints there. The food on the other hand not so much. I ordered the smoked turkey platter which comes with two sides. I got three tiny and I mean TINY slices of turkey each slice was about the size of a half slice of bacon. For my two sides I got the greens and baked beans. I love greens and I get them at just about every BBQ place I go to. These were awful! They had a sweet taste to them and some sort of aftertaste that I could not figure out. Two bites and I was done! Same goes for the baked beans...strange aftertaste that was not good. I did eat the turkey but that was about it. Needless to say we had to stop elsewhere so I could actually get some dinner. Visited this restaurant with a friend on August 5, 2026. We were going because it used to be Fort Worth steakhouse and it was good. However this was not very good barbecue. I had the pulled pork and my buddy had the brisket. The brisket looked like rump roast and was very dry. I did not enjoy the flavor of my barbecue. My buddy had the okra and creamed corn and I had a side salad with fries. This was all good! The manager came by and asked if everything was good and we told her no. She went in the back and brought out some brisket and it was fantastic! I think he just got the wrong slice of meat. I would not recommend or I will not be going back. Have been here twice in the 2 weeks they've been opened, I knew they were opening 2 months before they did and I patiently waited and it was absolutely worth the wait and even exceeded expectations. Everything is smoked in house daily and we had a bit of everything, it's all good and personally doesn't need sauce if you truly appreciate true bbq. I highly recommend this place and I have eaten world championship bbq. Possibly the best smoked meats in the Smokies with plenty of options including large take out orders available. We did not take a lot of pictures as we're there to eat, come hungry, leave satisfied and remember Bobby Jack doesn't cook by the clock, he cooks by the fire. read more

Came in with a party of 7 on a Saturday night and had our meals delivered to us within 30 minutes of walking in the door!! I had the BBQ Brisket and it was AMAZING! the fries were crispy and all of our food was fresh! My fiancée likes to chug water and they kept her waters full all meal! The salad was almost frozen......disgusting! I had to rinse my green beans off with my water they were so salty. The turkey was very dry, overcooked, and lacking flavor. I didn't it the turkey it was that bad. The potato skins we had to salt because they had no flavor. $92 for total crap. Please avoid at all cost! This place will not survive. read more

First off, service was terrible. Unfriendly and un-attentive. Could not care whether we were there or not. Ended up starting with an app and it was so bad we didn't order anything else. Pork tasted like cardboard and was so dry we could not eat it. As a local we gave it another try after the failed equally bad Ft Worth Texas kitchen.
