like why would they put this tomato on my burger? Besides that, it's an ok place for after a drunk night

My 3rd visit here since I've been living in Georgia. I love this place I get so full. I can never eat all of it. This location was close to an appointment I had today. Was located on the corner at a light easily accessible. There as a lot of parking spaces. I had the Tray, with a bar b que sandwich with coleslaw, chicken wrap, hush puppies and a cherry wine float. All for 4.99!! In Michigan we didn't have one of these. Just a little change up with my on the run/fast food and my sons like it. Great choice for today and for filling. I went through the drive thru this time. I gave it 4 stars because I felt I was being rushed at the window of the drive thru.

The Cajun fries are not okay. The chicken strips are Walmart frozen chicken tenders , they could do better :(

I hadn't been in a couple of years but decided to go back because of the amazing food that I had previously experienced as a consistent customer over the years. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed when I ordered my usual and the food tastes nothing like the delicious food that I was used to experiencing at this location. The lack of flavor and quality that I had been used to experiencing was completely gone. The food tastes like it comes right out of the can onto the to-go containers. The turkey wings taste like they had no seasoning or flavor but as if they emptied out a can of cream of mushroom on top of the turkey wings. I could not finish the meal because it was nothing like remembered. Alongside the wasting of money and time that was taken to drive to this location, it was an overall disappointment. I used to recommend this location to friends who would come in town for some of the best soul food in Atlanta, but I honestly wouldn't be able to do that now because of the lack thereof. I'm not sure if they change cooks or what, but I'm highly disappointed. Pretty much they have a table blocking the door and a couple of chairs sitting outside of the establishment , or you have to wait in your car for your food. Unfortunately, Annie Laura's kitchen has gone down horribly. As a customer from the beginning before they moved to the second location.. I wouldn't recommend them anymore to anyone.

Service: Our waitress was Armani and she was amazing!!! From the time she came to our table to introduce herself until we paid our bills, she was energetic, continously checked on us, and immediately fixed any issues from the kitchen. If you go, ask to sit in Armani's section. Food: Our table of 5 had mixed reviews on the food. Some thought the wings were good while others thought they were unseasoned other than the sauce on top. We generally enjoyed the Jamaican patties despite the confusion on our "patty flight." We were initially given 2 curry patties and later told it was because they didn't have anymore jerk patties. However, we were later sent a jerk patty, so that was confusing. Entertainment: This is where they lacked and why I wouldn't come back. We arrived at 7:30pm. During the time we were there, there was a boring old school play list and the songs people chose for karaoke. We came for karaoke because we'd been told by the bartender that night gets packed. That's not true, at any given time there weren't anymore than 10 tables with guests. Additionally, management was very strict about what songs could be performed for karaoke and told paying customers we couldn't curse. When I asked about this policy, the manger told me it was the traditional global way to be family friendly. If that's your thing, this would be the place for you but it didn't fit our needs for a girl's night and the women in our group were 35-55. Lastly, the two managers appeared to micromanage every move the servers and bartenders made, it just felt weird.

Scrolling through the options, I added all I wanted. I added on my fries, paid and waited to the side for my order to be completed. As the vegan cheese cost extra and there was nothing cheese wise that I could swap it out with I was just out of luck. The employee was very nice even though there was nothing she could really do for me. She broke the news to me gently and was very apologetic. Once my order was ready I was on my way. The presentation was beautiful and the flavor profile of the food was amazing. The fixings were fresh and the burger bun was soft and warm. Though I needed the cheese to really take it to the next level, it was a good meal and I would order it again. However, I will ask if vegan cheese is in stock before placing my order.

There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. But baby when you walk in?? It's a whole cheesesteak lounge. Hookah, drinks, music, DJ... a whole vibe. I was like oh okayyy y'all doing something in here! The ambiance is EVERYTHING. And they're expanding with a patio, so it's only going up from here. Now let's get into the food... because the cheesesteak?? Hands down the BEST in the city. I said what I said. The eggroll appetizers were hitting, the drinks were GOOD, and my first visit? 5 stars immediately. And let me tell you... it might be new but it's not staying quiet. I've been back several times and it's been PACKED. They've got bottle service if you're trying to turn up with your girls, and Pretty Girl Tuesdays?? Yeah... we had a TIME. I love it so much one of my friends ended up working there, and I'm definitely going to keep supporting her and the owners. Big shoutout to them coming from Philly and bringing this to the city... they did that. Now... because I actually rock with them, I'm gonna be real. They need to tighten up on consistency. My first time was flawless, but the visits after haven't always matched that same energy. Still good enough to keep me coming back, but I need that same experience every time. Customer service is where the biggest opportunity is. I need my servers checking in, staying attentive, and making sure everything flows right. And please don't bring my food out in pieces. I don't want fries now, cheesesteak later, appetizer somewhere in between... that's a pet peeve. But overall? I LOVE this place. The vibe, the food, the energy... it's there. The space itself is actually a decent size--medium to large with enough seating to where you aren't fighting for real estate against the afternoon rush. It has a good flow to it, which I appreciated. I decided to deviate from the standard soul food lanes and went with the Caribbean Jerk Alfredo Combo, which comes with chicken and shrimp, plus some garlic bread on the side. Now, let's be clear: this is a soul food establishment, not a Caribbean kitchen, and that distinction was definitely present in the flavor profile. Everything was pretty tasty and the portions were solid, but it wasn't the best Jerk I've ever encountered. The sauce had some life to it, but if you're looking for that authentic island heat that makes you see colors, this isn't that. It's a soulful take on a fusion dish, and it does the job well enough for a mid-week craving. Overall, the vibes were straight and the food was good. It's a reliable spot to keep in the rotation when you want a heavy plate and want to keep your dollars in the community. I'll probably stick to the more traditional staples next time I slide through, but I walked out satisfied.
