I believe in giving new businesses grace, especially when they are still getting their rhythm together. They did have a nice little crowd seated inside, which was good to see. I wanted to support them. However, while the doors were open, the place did not feel fully ready from an ambiance standpoint. There was junk behind what looked like the soon to be bar area. Boxes and clutter were visible, and honestly, that takes away from the experience. It is hard to focus on the food when your eyes are trying to figure out if you are in a restaurant or the back room at a storage unit. They did have booths available for customers to sit and enjoy their food, so that was a plus. Since there were no ribs, I ordered a steak hoagie sandwich and asked for extra cheese. Well, the young lady forgot to put my order in, so I ended up waiting over 25 minutes for this hoagie. By the time I got it, I was ready to take a picture, sit in my car, and have my little food review moment. But NOPE. That could not happen because the sandwich was absolutely slathered in "special sauce." It was giving sauce with a side of sandwich. And after all that, there was no extra cheese, which was specifically what I asked for. I was disappointed for three main reasons: no ribs, the order was forgotten, and the sandwich was soggy. I did not even get pictures because I refused to touch my phone and risk turning it into a saucy crime scene. I will not order that sandwich again.
