I had another opinion after he never showed up for our appointment to figure out why my car was leaking after he worked on my oil pan gasket. I needed another Mechanic as the leaking was getting worse to come and take a look. He told me the oil pan gasket was never replaced and it's just fine.. my leak turned out to be a timing cover gasket, which is labor-intensive about eight hours. So I paid him for replacing the oil pan gasket, which he never did plus parts.. He's a major scam Artist took my money and never did anything.. he cannot be trusted.!! Not to mention him keeping my important manual for my car! I so regret having anything to do with them!!

After realizing I was in over my head, I reached out to Frank on Facebook just to get a few estimates. Within minutes, Frank called me, asked about the truck, and even came to my house to look at it in person. He took the time to explain exactly what went wrong, what it would take to fix it, and what I could realistically expect. He never tried to oversell me or pressure me. His honesty, professionalism, and genuine customer service are what earned my business that same day. What impressed me even more was that once he started repairing my DIY mistake, he discovered it required more work than he originally expected. Even so, he honored the original quote without hesitation. That kind of integrity is hard to find these days. I got my truck back the very same day, and I honestly couldn't be happier. The blue paint is a perfect match, the finish is deep and glossy, and you can't tell where the repair ends and the original paint begins. It looks factory new. If you're considering having paint or body work done, do yourself a favor and call Frank first. I learned the hard way that sometimes DIY ends up costing more in the long run, but thankfully I found someone who truly cares about doing the job right. I highly recommend him and won't hesitate to use him again.

When I brought the vehicle, they seemed put out when I mentioned hoping they could keep the cost under $300. They also wanted to keep the car for a week before they could get to it. The tech who looked at my vehicle seemed kind of shady (but that's just an impression I got). Although he did promise an estimate by the end of the day, which he never did deliver. I went back the next day to retrieve my vehicle and take it to a shop nearer to my home that offered to do it for nearly half of what Total Collision would have charged. This other shop also got ti back to me in under 24 hours even though they were very busy. I will never even consider TCS again.
