I was rear-ended during the ice storm in February. Unfortunately/fortunately I had used them in the past. I had heard good thing about them and will not use another body shop. The insurance carrier wanted to get a used bumper from San Antonio. Problem is, they don't ship! What?! Thank goodness Chris knows all about this business and helped me (again) get the insurance carrier to pay for the proper work and not jeopardize quality. They are also Tesla certified, which if I understand, isn't handed to just anyone. I definitely recommend them. read more

Our 2023 Tesla Model 3 was hit in the right rear bumper by a semi-truck. damage didn't look all that bad, a hole in the rear bumper and paint transfer from the semi-truck. Advantage Autoworks was the closest Tesla-certified body shop to our home in Azle Texas. our Tesla was damaged in mid-July 2023 Advantage Autoworks was very busy and we had to wait until October 2023 for a estimate. They worked with the truck driver's insurance and had the car repaired and back to us in under two weeks. Last week my 2019 Ford F-150 Platinum truck got caught in a hail storm early in the morning and wrecked my hood, roof and Retrax PowertraxONE MX Tonneau Cover. Needless to say I was upset, but called the damage into State Farm to claim the damage. State Farm asked if I had a prefered autobody specialist, I said no, so they provided me with a list of select vendors. After doing my research, I picked Advantage Autoworks due to their great reviews. I met with Keith at Advantage Autoworks Monday morning, he walked me through the entire process. When Keith explained that he'll be utilizing a paintless dent repair method, I have to say I was skeptical....this was a huge investment and I wasn't going to settle for just good enough, I wanted it back to show room condition. Keith reassured me that the person that does his work is very good and said I would be pleased. I decided that the "proof would be in the pudding", when it comes time for me to pickup my truck. Keith said they'd try to get me the truck back before the end of the week....I handed him the keys so he could get started. State Farm set me up with Hertz rental in which was coordinated perfectly, because not more than a minute later after I parted with Keith, there was my driver, ready to shuttle me to the Hertz rental office. Within 20 minutes I was driving away with an rental. Late Wednesday, Keith from Advantage Autoworks calls me and said that my truck is ready, I was really blown away that it took so little amount of time and a little skeptical that the job would be done to my satisfaction. I told Keith that this was a $70K investment and it better be right, he said that it came out great and had nothing to worry about. Upon arriving, I went straight to the truck to really give it a thorough review. I was all over it, checking every panel, the roof, the hood, the tonneau cover; it was P..E..R..F..E..C..T!!! WOW, I was really blown away...just amazed on how in the world a "paintless dent repair" could of made this truck showroom perfect? I was truly in dis-belief. When I went to their office, I met Chris and Keith and let them know how amazed I was that this truck looked so awesome. Keith was right to say, "I told you..." Keith said that the person working on my truck worked all through the night to get me taken care of. I asked Chris to pass the word to that person that I'm incredibly impressed with how well it looks, it was really an awesome job. When I asked Chris about how the process works, he took quite a bit of time outlining the process; it was easy to see how passionate he is about the process. He mentioned the investment made to be one of the few shops in the area that specializes in Tesla and aluminum body repairs. Just before I left, Chris said that I could go ahead and leave the keys to the rental car and he'd call them to pick it up. I could probably boast about the fact that it was my great research in choosing the right autobody repair shop, but the truth is... reading reviews is really a crapshoot, you just hope you don't make a big mistake when you pull the trigger. My experience with State Farm / Hertz / Advantage Autoworks was a real testament to great teamwork. Pretty Epic! Owner Chris Recker and his guys at Advantage Autoworks did an outstanding job on repairing body damage to my beloved Camaro SS. A neighbor hit the side of my car while backing out of their driveway, putting a major dent into the back side panel of my car. Chris came out to access the situation and noticed a small fold on my door as well - not only did he fix the back panel, but my entire door, and it looks amazing! He also took the extra time to replace some weather stripping on the door that had pulled off long ago (VERY annoying) and nothing to do with the accident; sounds small, but it was quite thoughtful of him and I was impressed he did it just as a good business gesture. I encountered about half a dozen people at Advantage for different reasons and each person was very friendly and helpful. When I first walked into the front office and met Chris, I knew I was in the right place. Not only is he exceedingly knowledgeable and professional, he is authentically kind and makes you feel like you've known him forever. When I got my Camaro back I was amazed at the quality of workmanship on the body damage. It was just perfect! The guys there detailed it out and it looked as if it just came off the showroom floor. Completely unhappy. Brought in my Tesla for rear bumper damage and although the bumper damage has been taken care of, the inside portion of the rear bumper (the part that is inside the trunk) has been put back together all wrong. I can actually see the metal frame if the car which was not how it was before. Plus the inside front and driver side floor boards are full of dirt and mud. Tesla recommend these guys but I define you would not. Unhappy customer. read more

This place is absolutely the worst car shop I've ever been too. They didn't match the paint on my car at all. The whole front half is dark Grey (original color) while the back half is light grey. They didn't fix my headlights completely. My car was wrecked into and I was depending on advantage autoworks to do the job. They failed 1000%. I got rear-ended and my rear bumper was ruined. On top of that my car is a 2005 Saab. Advantage sourced a bumper and repaired my car quickly. The initial process was painless and everyone was very nice to me. They worked with my insurance company and the process was seamless. They also coordinated to get me a rental car. I picked up my car and found that they vacuumed the interior, cleaned the exterior and the paint on the bumper matched the rest of the car perfectly (remember - it's 13 years old)! I again dealt with extremely customer-oriented people. I would highly recommend anyone needing body work to go here. I have a 64 Impala with a very specific Pearl Green paint job. My hood flew up while driving and did some real damage. I searched and wanted to find a reputable shop to do the work. I came across these guys and couldn't be happier. I cannot tell the difference as they matched the paint perfectly. Chris and his crew also had the job done well ahead of time. Chris even went above and beyond by fixing a repair to the roof that he didn't have to. Chris informed me of the repair and I turned it down. Chris still had it repaired anyway. I haven't even gotten my car back yet and wanted to give this business a round of kudos. They are the most helpful and friendly folks I've ever dealt with, especially when it comes to auto repair. I wrecked my Tesla on Christmas Eve and they were recommended by both State Farm and Tesla to perform the repairs and I can see why. From the day I dropped it off to them, they have been very assuring about the car coming out beautifully. I hate to say that I've bugged them several time for an update and the lady to answers the phone has never been short or ugly to me about it. She is always very sweet and understanding , and tells me exactly what's going on, the status of parts, and even made sure my car was put on a charger when I received a low battery warning from my Tesla app. To be fair, I will update my review once I have inspected the body work, but I have every confidence that it will be perfect. My wife is due for a brake job soon and they have already earned my business going forward. read more

This business is a BAD place to take your car/truck for repairs/bodywork! They did unauthorized and unnecessary work, trying to raise the bill to a CRAZY amount. The work they did was BAD, needing to be redone and were angry with me for complaining about the poor work!! I received an un-Godly bill and asked jokingly if they offered a payment plan. They rudely said payment was payment was due in full to release the car. Paid & they gave me the keys. They then tried double dipping my insurance and eventually came back to me for MORE money!! I have to admit to being a very, very picky customer when it comes to my cars' repair work. Over the decades I've dealt with body shops, I've been quite disappointed more than half the time--shoddy work, parts left off or missing, obvious repairs vs. the promised quality, and multiple repeat visits to fix body shop screw ups. However, with Advantage Autoworks quality so far above the norm, I felt they needed another very positive review on Yelp! I found them based on a recommendation from a local USAA rep--he has his personal cars fixed their when they've been damaged. Given that unofficial recommendation, I figured I'd give them a chance. In a word, "Wow!" Keith (one of their managers) and John (one the most knowledgeable repair guys in the business) have now worked on three of our BMW's (don't ask; it's been a bad year for car damage!), with simply stellar results every time. The cars have come out flawless, or so close to flawless that only someone as picky as me could tell that they've ever had any work done . . . . This body shop is professional from start to finish. Everyone there thrives on extremely good customer service. You feel valued every step of the way. Chris , the owner, was extremely helpful and courteous to me. I went in for some recent hail damage repair. In the process , Chris found some previous hail damage on my car that was poorly repaired and he went out of the way and polished it up for me for no extra charge!! Brought my car there for two repairs. Got the car back and had to return it for a defect in the paint. The service manager had the gaul to argue with me about the defect trying to tell me it was not their fault. They eventually fixed it but refused to do anything about the rear bumper cover they butchered. I would not recommend taking a car to this establishment since they don't seem concerned about standing behind the work they do. Extremely poor customer service. We did not have a good experience using Advantage. Someone hit our car, so we were able to choose who we wanted to repair it. Advantage is a preferred provider for State Farm. We have used Caliber and Service King before and had wonderful service. Here, not so much. When I picked up the car, I was handed the keys inside the building and had to go find my car myself. It was not clean, we had extensive rear end damage and the back window replaced, I have never picked up a car after service and not had it cleaned to show off the good workmanship. I also was left to review the work done on my own. I was not satisfied, so had to walk back in and find the guy on my own. Who repairs a car and doesn't walk the customer out to review the work and ensure that they are satisfied? My husband called and tried to get assistance, was told they would check into it and call him back. He ended up having to call them several times. Absolutely will not go back nor will I recommend them to anyone I know. read more
