I have been going to Park Place Veterinary Hospital for approximately 8 years and have received the…read morebast care for all of my animals. we recently took in 2 kittens and a momma cat. The momma cat ran away. Momma cat had an appointment today 1/28 and we forgot to cancel. My husband received a call from the Vet stating we needed to pay for the visit and going forward we would have to prepay for all appointments. Apparently, there is a policy that exists. Clients are only made aware of this when they miss an appointment. This gives the practice manager the ability to enforce the policy whenever they feel free to do so. Usually, we receive an email and a call stating that we have an appointment for the animals a day or 2 in advance. According to my husband neither of these reminders happened. i have spent thousands of dollars for my pets with this office and in the end they told me that I needed to take care elsewhere. I am a little disappointed with the way the practice manager handled the situation. I think the vet and the vet techs and the reception are amazing. However, if a policy exists it should be shared with clients when they establish care. Or it could be attached to the email when they send reminder calls. I believes this is an excellent, comprehensive, compassionate place for the animals. If I were to rate this based on today´s experience it would not be good. I do feel that if there are rules they should be shared with the customers. The practice manager should fix her process to ensure everyone knows the rules. Practice managers are suppose to fix processes. unfortunately, I need to rate.

The facility is clean, the staff is always friendly, & the doctors are as well! They send a post card as a reminder when your pet is due for shots, renewing medications, etc, which is helpful as I can't keep all that stuff straight. My one complaint is they do seem to be a tad pricey, but we'll still come here, it's worth it. Highly recommend!

Upsell city. Staff is fine. But they try to upsell before laying eyes on your pet. Got an email the…read moremorning of the appointment saying a laundry list of shots/meds need to be administered to my cat. The fuck they do. Previous vet never mentioned getting any of these shots AGAIN. Got to the appointment (cat's ears are inflamed and red). You'd think they check that, nope. Held her a bit and started to try to sell me on shampoos and steroids (cat has had 3 steroid procedures in the past. Not destroying her liver and then coming back in 2 weeks to throw more proverbial shit against the wall. Nope. Its the ears, which is what the appointment was made for. Finally checked the ears. Found black gunk..hey what do you know?!? Ear infection. As suspected. Over charged me on meds that can be bought on Chewy for 20% less. Also asked for a nail trimming for this appointment when I called. Nails didn't get trimmed. Also almost overcharged me for the visit (initial visit is "free"). After running my card they then realized the mistake, which they promptly corrected. It's just incredibly frustrating to walk into these places, after already sharing all available previous medical records going into it. And clearly being tried to get taken to the cleaners, before any exam has started. I told you what was going on. I supplied all history, and they still wanna start from scratch, throw shit against the wall, and hope your sucker-ass will come back in 2 weeks so they can ring you up again. Fuck that.

Court Street took him off a BP med and put him on another, which didn't work- but how would we know without getting a BP reading?? I drove Quincy two hours each way to an eye doctor who could give him a BP reading and he added his old medication, bringing him in check. However, his blood pressure was uncontrolled for too long thanks to this place's negligence and he died as a result. These people deserve to go out of business for their practices.

However, over the past year, we have encountered different veterinarians instead of Sabrina, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory experience. Yesterday, when we brought our dog Oliver in for a visit, the veterinarian, who appeared to be relatively inexperienced, exhibited extreme rudeness. As animal owners who treat our pets like family, it was disconcerting to be spoken to in such a manner. I declined to authorize additional tests that were just extras... opting instead to conduct them at a later time, given the substantial costs already incurred for Oliver's physical examination and bloodwork. The veterinarian, Dr. Levy, proceeded to label me a neglectful dog owner. When these test I have done on a yearly basis and felt it wasn't needed till our next visit. I chose to address the issue at a later time so I could get my dogs monthly prescription , plus this Dr. had never seen my dogs or knows us and our history. This clinic has drastically declined over the last few visits and I new after this unprofessional visit I would never allow my fur babies to be seen by such nasty people. the funny thing is when you walk into their waiting room they have a sign about treating people with respect and kindness...I would say there team needs to practice what they preach! This morning, I contacted a new veterinary practice in a nearby town, which has received excellent recommendations, and arranged to transfer our records. I am relieved to have found a more suitable alternative and will no longer need to interact with Court Street Vets. Unfortunately, it appears that the establishment has undergone a significant decline in quality, with new staff exhibiting poor bedside manners and prioritizing financial gain over animal care.
