I've been to cookies & friends on a few occasions and each time I've had a different issue. Against my better judgement, I booked a reservation here again. It's the close at grooming place near me and they already have my dogs information so I figured one more time can't hurt. Unfortunately all it takes is one time to do damage. I took my dog in for grooming earlier this week and she was eagerly trying to get away (I should've read that as a sign too). The dogs from the daycare were barking at her from behind their pen (they're apparently kept separate from the grooming business). The groomer took my dog to one of the rooms in the back and told me To come back in about an hour. Am hour later I get a call to come back. I see that my dog's behind is closely shaven down. She looks almost bald on her butt. They said it was matted apparently. OK- I let that one go. It wasn't the best look but it grows out. Then when I got home, I noticed my dog was tracking something red. I thought maybe she had stepped on something, maybe a berry? No, it was blood! This was after I had taken her for a walk outside for 30 minutes too. That means she was bleeding all that time! I immediately called Cookies and Friends to report this. As you can see in the picture, it's clearly bleeding from the nail. They cut her nails down to the bone. Way too short. The woman told me to bring her in to put some lotion on it. She first tried to say that it wasn't caused by then and it must've been something outside. I sent her the picture of her paw and asked for a partial refund due to the poor care they took. She got very nervous and said she can't do that. She said "whatever. No, bye". Is that the way you talk to a client? Especially when you're in the wrong? Never again. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

ZERO star, period. Long story short. The groomer cut my dog in two different places. One is in the chest and another is in the thigh. It was cut deep so that it was blooding! When we called them, they told me it was totally normal and people make mistakes. I was so shocked when I heard this statement from the lady in the front desk (not sure if she is the owner. She is the one taking our cards.) Friends, please be aware of this place. DO NOT GO! Any place would be better than this! read more

Disappointing! Second time there. Have an 18 yo blind Cockapoo with clear dementia. When I picked her up owner told me that they cannot groom her again because the dog, owner and the groomer were all "very stressed". I explained that the dog is old but she had no visible empathy. What upset me most is when I got home, I realized her ears were filthy and clearly not cleaned and her nails were visibly still very long (cost $80 for a shave). I called and spoke with owner who told me to bring her back (really!). I told her i would clean her ears myself. read more

Well, I'm not sure what I've done to offend her but the owner has made it clear she does not want my business. After our last visit I was very happy with my dog's haircut; the groomer, Sabrina, does excellent work. However, my dog started scooting so I wasn't sure if his glands were expressed. It's not a big deal, I just needed to know so I could either take him to his vet for that service or indicate to them that it could be possibly something else. I left two voicemails, sent an email, called a third time at which point the owner said Sabrina would call me back the next day. That callback never happened. This information would have taken 30 seconds to relay to me, tops. At the very least, returning my call is a basic courtesy that they decided not to provide. Very sad as I love Sabrina's work and they've been great with my dog. I've referred multiple people in my neighborhood to this shop. I guess I won't be doing that any more. read more

Took my Pomeranian here for a full grooming. The prices are reasonable - $60 and everything is included (teeth too!). They did a really nice job with the hair cut - super even all around and a cute style. The service was super fast- only one hour total. Would definitely recommend trying them! read more

This was the first time grooming for me and my puppy who were a little nervous before visit. As we stepped in, my Cavalier puppy was very excited and just walking further inside along with the staff to greet other dogs being in day care. The owner is very decent lady adoring dogs. Her dog, Cookie is very cute and gentle. I used to bring my dog here and will not be doing that anymore. I recently made an appt for my dog, came to the appt and the groomer came out and said that my dog is "difficult" and that she cannot handle him and stated that last time she did not even finish his grooming (which I was not informed at all). Not only that, she asked that I should wait til she's done with the dog she's grooming (asked for 40 mins) when my dog's appt is up - very inconsiderate! The groomer was so unprofessional that she said the last groomer who took care of my dog no longer work there so she insinuated that I had no choice but to take him home. Like what kind of business is this?! If your groomer is picky about who she deals with, then why even bother having a business? Mind you, my dog is not the best at grooming since he has bad anxiety, but he already took anxiety meds and was perfectly calm when we walked in. With this kind of level of professionalism, I will not recommend this place unless you hire a better, much more professional groomer who actually has more experience. read more

As you relocate, you need to find many. Grocery stores, restaurants, cleaners, doctors... One of the most important thing I had to find is daytime dog sitting place for my beloved Max. One of my co-workers recommended Cookies & Friends and I owe her big. First of all, the place is very clean and they are different than the others. They don't keep the dogs at the cage. Max can play all day long instead of staying in the cage and wondering when I show up. Believe or not Max didn't want to come with me when I came to pick him up in few days. It hurts my feeling but it is good way to hurt my feeling(You know what I mean). The owner was super sweet, kind and friendly. She looks like she truly loves dogs. Max has been going to Cookies & Friends for a while, and I am very happy that Max goes to the place he loves. Cookies & Friends is well deserved to have 5 stars from me, and I can't thank enough how grateful I am. I recommend to anyone. read more

This place is great! Very clean, luxury and welcoming workers. The groomer does an excellent job! Day Care area looks very free and protected with workers watching the dogs 24/7.
