Every once in awhile, I give them a shot. That last shot was this cart that was originally downtown. It changed me. It changed that day. Somehow I just craved sweets again, after like 8 years, I found the appeal! Was hyped to see the cart moved to my favorite pod in PDX, The Heist, and gave it anither shot. AGAIN. FLOORED. This is the perfect cookie. The service is top tier, the menu has a little bit of everything, hell even the tunes inside the cart were right up my alley. This spot deserves a full chapter in my book of recommendations. Simple concept done exceptionally well with the best staff to back it up. 10/10. read more

If you want to be treated as if you are the worst person on the planet, by someone who is actually the worst person on the planet, this is the perfect place for you. The extremely unhappy owner of this "food" cart takes all her bad life decisions out on her paying customers. Why create a business that serves the public if you obviously despise the public? Plus the cookies are burnt AND raw inside. How is that possible? How can you f up a cookie that bad, especially when people are paying $7 a piece? This place is not an only a scam, they also don't want your business based on how bad they treat their customers. You're better off getting day old cookies from Safeway. The Heist, where this cart is located has become a stain on what was a nice, quiet neighborhood. Their customers block resident driveways, they don't respect the neighborhood at night and trash it when they leave. (The spot was better for the whole city when it was an unused parking lot compared to what it is now) So if you have a desire to be treated like garbage whilst spending your hard earned money on a flawed product, then this is the place to go. read more

Yum. Stopped here for dessert and tried a few cookies. The chocolate chip cookie was excellent. The oatmeal was just ok - we felt that the butterscotch overpowered the cookie and it could have done without that. And my son was swooned by the blue cookie with eyes, so we had to try that one too. While we thought it looked the prettiest, we weren't wowed by the flavor. Next time, we'll definitely get another chocolate chip and I'd be interested in trying the cream cheese sugar cookie too. The cookies are monstrous! The price is hefty, but worth it. If you are glutton, one should be satisfactory, but what I am saying is the size is good for 2 or even 3. We opted to do the Quad Pack box for $26 for 4 (edited)! It did last us for a few days but I'm glad we tried McCakeface in search of a good dessert after a dinner at a nearby restaurant. These are NOT the cookies your grandma made to dunk in a cup of milk after school... sorry to tell you (no, I'm not). These are adult f*****g deliciousness that don't *need* a cup of milk, but probably would be amazing with one. I didn't have milk in my car (thank the lordt... it was HAWT), and I couldn't wait until I got home to try them. I was forking bites into my friend's pie hole as he was driving home. That's how amazeballs these damn things are. And I regret NOTHING. Except not getting the rest of the crew to try. Anyway, what you're really here for: the review. CCC was my least favorite. There, I said it. But it was for no reason other than the others were even better. This hunk of a cookie was perfectly crunchy on the outside & the edges, and deliciously gooey in the middle, bordering on barely baked (if you're not a fan of cookie dough, this may not be the CCC you're looking for). The chips were perfectly melted, and oozed together with the middle into a slurpy, cozy ode to child hood, when you grabbed a too hot cookie right off the pan, fresh from the oven. My second to least favorite was the Strawberry Thiccc-cake, and it only lands here because of how sweet it was: the combination of the strawberry & white chocolate edged on cloying, but the delicious butter cookie flavor smoothed it out and made it an amazingly fresh, enjoyable experience. The first forkful revealed a flood of pie filling that was so satisfying, I wanted to happen over & over again. Cookie Meister & Midnight Society were a tie for first... way too close to call a single winner. Nostalgia wants me to declare MS the champion, with its marshmallowy, melty center & graham crackers, but there's something about the Oreos & eyeballs with CM that makes him difficult to turn down. CM wins in the 'simplicity' department, but the depth of flavor with MS is something everyone needs to experience at least once. Service was FAST (no line? The buzzer buzzed in like 5 minutes!? AT A FOOD CART?! ON A SATURDAY?!?), and I was complemented on my box choice (I bet you say that to all the ladies!), so there really isn't a reason for you not to go. Just... be a grownup and get them all. Don't be like Nicole O and only get 4 cookies and have to trek back from Beaverton for the rest, and repeats. Get some lunch/dinner while you're at The Heist, eat dessert first, and don't forget the milk! read more

Crumbl doesn't hold a CANDLE to these cookies. Ranking what I got in order of best to also best: 1. Cookie Meister - bro this cookie is SO GOOD. Is there brown butter in this?? Cookie is amazing, the taste is addicting and the Oreo in it is chefs kiss. If you're an Oreo fan, this cookie is for you. 2. Midnight Society - ALSO AMAZING. The chocolate isn't very dark at all (in a great way), and the marshmallow was so gooey, an overall palette pleaser. 3. CCC - My least favorite of the three. So dang good! These are unique -- not your average flat cookie that you can easily find in any bakery. They are almost snowball shaped, with the texture of cake. Been coming here since they showed up at the Heist. Good vibe, fun art, amazing specials, and a cart that actually puts "sold out" on menu items when needed. The cookies are well worth the price- besides the fact that they're delicious, they're gigantic. Two cookies can last me 3 days (I have self-control these days). I rave about them to anyone I come to Heist with, or anyone who dares mention crumbl to me (barf) and have never seen anyone be less than ecstatic when they try them. I do almost always end up being served by the owner, so I can't really speak about her staff, but she's never been anything but super friendly to me. I was looking for a delicious cookie last night. Decided to order on DD-the CCC and peanut butter chocolate (I forgot the correct name). I don't even like peanut butter, so I figured I would give this one to my husband. WELL-one bite of the CCC and I was floored! I hid them from both my husband and my son. WOW--these cookies are exactly what you want! The thick part sounds questionable, but the recipe somehow combines the crispy edge you want with the gooey center!
