    Caramel Egg Tart
    Katherine G.

Came here for their egg tart upon recommendation from a friend, and they did not disappoint! Might be one of the best egg tarts I've had in the US. Super flaky crispy crust, and the most delicious custard filling inside. They also have a bunch of unique flavors too but I stuck with the classic. Highly recommend!

NaiSnow offers healthy and delicious tea beverages and fresh baked items with over 1,200 locations mainly in China. NaiSnow's first stop in the U.S. expansion is in Flushing, New York. The second location in New York is 27-51 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101. My first NaiSnow experience was at the Long Island City location. I walked in and ordered the Matcha Latte Boba, Caramel Egg Tart, Matcha Tiramisu Tart, Coffee Tiramisu Tart at the counter. It didn't take long for the order to be ready and it was all packed in an insulated bag. Inside, there are a few tables and countertop seats. The caramel egg tart is filled with custard core and a caramel aroma, the coffee tiramisu tart has a sponge cake soaked in coffee and layered with cream on a crisp and buttery tart, and the matcha tiramisu tart is made with premium Jingshan matcha powder fully infused into the cake base and layered with smooth cream cheese filling. The tarts are golden and have crispy layers. It just melts in your mouth. They are also a good size. The matcha latte boba was also very good. NaiSnow is definitely worth checking out!

Selection is perfect, exactly what I was looking for when I needed a snack. I got the seaweed floss cakes, not really sure what it is but I really liked it! The flavor, the texture, all very good. I also got the highland tea latte which was nice. Not picture, the egg tart which was so yummy and I wish I ordered two! Spacious place with seating, nice spot for pick me up.

I stumbled on this tea and bakery shop. An intense baking aroma hits instantly when you walk in. You can easily trace its source - the egg tarts. This is exactly what I got on my first visit. It didn't disappoint. The custard was so rich and creamy - the best egg tart I've ever had. And the crust was flaky and buttery. I also got a bottle of jasmine tea. The tea was smooth and crisp with a light grassy note. The server was friendly and patient. The shop was quite busy on this Sunday afternoon. I'm sure I'll try other baking items or drinks if I come back to this area.

The review is for its delivery. A friend Ordered via Uber Eats one of their famous sell- the pastries! Had 3 flavors: matcha , tiramisu and strawberry cupcakes . The size is shareable so I was able to try 2 flavors at one point ( tiramisu and matcha). We had a "tastefully happy" experience. Hmmm... Maybe a bit sweet for me but worth each bite. I want to see and have a seat down at their shoppe anytime soon. Heard that their drinks are great as well. Review to be continued then.

Really tasty pastries! Was a big fan of the tiramisu egg tart -- great combo of crisp and flakey pastry, custardy and not-too-sweet filling, topped with a little slice of moist tiramisu. It's also gorgeous and very giftable as a special occasion pastry at about $5. Staff isn't consistent with updating their system when orders are ready though so we ended up waiting a half hour for our single drink and egg tart.

NaiSnow Tea and Bakery is a rapidly expanding, trendy Chinese chain getting widely known for its fusion of fresh Asian pastries, viral trompe l'oeil desserts, and healthy fruit and matcha beverages. It has quickly become a local favorite for modern sweets. A must-try in their menu includes Caramel Egg Tarts: The standout signature item. Expect a flaky, croissant-like outer crust with a rich, silky-smooth, pudding-like custard core. Tiramisu Egg Tarts: A viral sensation featuring a standard egg tart base topped with either matcha or coffee sponge cake, mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa or matcha powder. Matcha Series Drinks: Features high-quality organic matcha. The Velvet Matcha Layered Latte (made with a thick matcha cheese foam) and the Matcha Coconut are highly rated. The "Daily Green" Bottle: A refreshing palate cleanser packed with kale, apple, and lemon for those seeking a healthier, fiber-rich balance to the pastries. I specially like the flaky, buttery textures of the pastries and note that desserts are sweet but not overwhelmingly cloying. The bakery space is bright, modern, and spacious, making them great spots to hang out with friends or relax. Depending on the time of day, you can occasionally smell the pastries being baked fresh right in front of you.

Naisnow is known for their egg tarts, which are quite pricey; but I have to admit that they are are incredible! The Caramel Egg Tart ($3.90) has so much layers in the crust which can get messy, so they provide you gloves. The custard inside is so velvety and delicious. Also had to try their Seaweed Meat Floss Mini Cakes ($6.90 for 3pcs). As a huge fan of meat floss, this was so delicious and addicting. Damn, I probably could've ate 5 more of these things. I love the lightly sweet sponge cake inside covered with the savoriness of meat floss and crispy seaweed texture. These are the perfect snack! I also couldn't help but order a drink to pair everything together too and got the Velvet Matcha Layered Latte ($5.90). This drink was also amazing as the matcha flavor was very dominant and strong with that creamy and velvety texture as the name says. Every item I ordered here was on point. Definitely making a stop here whenever I'm in the area. Can't wait to come back. Plus, this space is great to hang out or work as well with seating looking out to the street.

Service: 3.5/5 Food: 3.2/5 Price: ~$5 per tart Conveniently located within the radius of all the other Asian spots in LIC. I had a dog with me, so just did a quick pickup. From the outside, it looks spacious with plenty of seating. I remember the hype when they first opened in Flushing. Lines out the door + egg tarts sold out before midday. Their whole concept is based around a "healthy" lifestyle, hence the fresh fruit teas + green-colored aesthetic, which I find misleading because I'm sure their drinks are packed with added sugars much like their pastries. Friends have said their drinks aren't good, so I only tried their egg tarts. They follow the current trend of extra thick + flaky pastry-style crusts. What I Ordered: - Caramel Egg Tart: lowkey unmemorable, based off the Portuguese-style, should actually be named "caramelized egg tart" - Strawberry Tart: too much dairy for me, fresh + sweet strawberries - Coffee Tiramisu Tart: redundantly named, flavorful

Recently opened a few months ago, this is a fairly popular and trendy dessert spot in Long Island City (LIC). My friend lives close by here so it was an easy visit, and we were able to swing by when it was not busy around Sunday evening. We got the caramelized egg tart, matcha tiramisu egg tart, and the layered matcha drink. The regular egg tart is very delicious and flaky, and the matcha tiramisu one is basically the caramelized egg tart with a small matcha tiramisu on top. The prices are not bad but the matcha tiramisu barely had flavor and was not as flaky as the caramelized egg tart. However, it does look good so I get why people order it, but if you go here's a regular, the caramelized egg tart is far better value and quality. The layered matcha drink has a loooot of matcha. I made a careless mistake to enjoy the drink at 8pm so I wasn't able to sleep until 4am but the quality is up there!

Haven't tried the drinks yet, but I got a caramel egg tart and matcha tiramisu tart. They were both tasty, but you can get better and less expensive egg tarts elsewhere.

My usually spot was closed so I came here. This matcha was so ehhhhh. Very bitter. I drink lots of high quality matcha and this isn't one of them. Friendly counter staff at checkout but the taste didn't do it for me at all.

Rating: 7.5/10 Date Last Visited: 1/19/2026 I ordered the Caramel Egg Tart ($4.25). The egg tart tasted great. The crust is flaky yet kept the structure of the egg tart. The filling was solid and the caramel added to the taste. They also sell drinks, but I didn't get any. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a good egg tart.

It's flaky, buttery, chocolately, and tender with some crispy edges. The cinnamon ones were good, but the chocolate ones are my favorite here. The cheese & cherry rugelach were delicious and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness and filling. I've previously had some of their other items, and can also recommend the dark chocolate babka (which I was lucky enough to purchase one time while it was still warm), the pistachio cherry croissant, and the spicy cheese stick. I will be back to try their other items.

I'm not sure if they bake everything in house but it does feel more like they get smaller batches of things maybe frozen and then stick them in the oven and fill them. It doesn't taste the freshest, the croissant dough isn't as pillowy, crispy on the outside and full of layers and flakes that I'm regularly used to. I'm always happy eating anything with nutella so that was still a win, wish it was more in line with the regular Angelina experience. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.
