A 3.5-star boba tea with a 5-star customer service. Firstly, the staff here was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and that was such contrast with the almost dystopian 'interaction' we often emcounter at chain tea shops. The shop space is a little whimsical but overall warm, bright, and inviting. Parking is on the streets nearby since the shop doesn't have its own, and this makes sense because they are located between residential and business areas of town. About the green tea, as much as I welcome a lemon wedge in my water cup, I could really do without it in my boba tea. But it came with the tea, so there was no getting around the lemon 'contamination.' They apparently have small boba which is fine although I generally prefer bigger boba, and theirs was at least not overcooked and sweetened. What an amazing establishment with tasty treats and drinks!. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very kind young man. My order was taken quickly, and I waited less than 5 minutes for it. The establishment is very clean, and they have a few seats inside if you choose to dine in. They serve all different kind of teas, foods and sweet treats. I've come here for Boba tea twice and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of dessert options too. I tried one of their eclairs and it was pretty good as well. The drinks can take a little while to make, but it's worth the wait. They also give you a little cardboard square each time, and once you collect 10 you get a free Boba. My new favorite spot in Forest Hills! Everything was delicious but what truly won me over was the service and space to accommodate strollers/kids. Everyone I met the day I went was so friendly and also welcomed my daughter into the cafe as well. A major plus for me. I had a whole dessert haul here: - passionfruit, lavender, and strawberry lemonade - mint mojito coffee with almond milk ~FAVORITE~ - mixed berry tart - pistachio, white chocolate, fruity peebles, strawberry smoothie, birthday cake, cookies N cream I really loved the passionfruit lemonade which is a fan favorite. But I enjoyed the flavors of lavender and strawberry. Something I noticed is that everything is really fresh! No artificial flavors detected here! Woot! Adding boba to the lemonade was a really good decision. I didn't add it to the lavender lemonade but I regret it now. Hahaah. The mint mojito coffee was soooo good! My favorite drink honestly. The mint makes it really refreshing and the coffee gives you the kick you need. The macarons are so HUGE! and FLUFFY! I've been a loyal customer and have purchased many bubble tea drinks here over time. I chose to support this business because I wanted a bubble tea shop to succeed on Metropolitan. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have left me deeply disappointed. When I saw a BOGO deal on Uber Eats, I decided to take advantage of it. I picked up my drinks and went to sit in the outdoor garden area--an area that doesn't offer table service and is typically used by customers. Shortly after, a rude cashier approached me and told me I had to leave because the drinks were from an Uber Eats order. There is no signage or notice indicating that Uber Eats customers are not allowed to sit on the premises. Despite being frustrated, I continued to support the business because my kids and their friends enjoy the drinks, even though I find them too sugary. On a hot day, I ordered drinks for my children and planned to head home. My daughter's friend decided to stay at the shop after ordering four drinks and desserts. Yet again, the same staff member came over and told us to leave--specifically because my daughter's drink was from an Uber Eats order. This policy is confusing, inconsistent, and frankly, off-putting. They don't provide table service, yet they act as if the outdoor space is exclusive to full-paying, in-person orders--something not clearly communicated to customers. If promotional or delivery orders are not allowed to be consumed on the premises, that should be stated upfront. It's unfortunate to see a local business treat loyal customers this way. I won't be returning--and I hope they reconsider how they train their staff and treat their patrons. read more

The inside of this place is cute with comfy chairs in the back, but the real win is their late business hours. They are open til midnight every night and 2am on the weekend, which makes this the only late night bubble tea in Queens! For dessert, DO NOT skip the vanilla eclair, I'm not a huge pastry person, but this one is absolutely perfect, not too rich with the most fluffy cream filling. I dream about this thing. I ordered a large brown sugar milk tea with pearls for $7.00 and a birthday cake macaron for $3.00, totaling to $10.89 with tax. I've definitely had way better brown sugar milk teas and their pearls weren't fresh so it didn't have that "qq" chew I was looking for. Honestly their macaron was way better than my drink. This place has an adorable love story. Ryan opened this place in honor of his wife, Julie who loves desserts and bubble teas, so Julieats was created! They say love makes you do crazy things. Hot and cold drinks, pastry desserts, gelato, fresh fruit bowls, and salads with or without proteins. They now have a liquor license, so there is also a nice selection of wine and beer for your enjoyment. To go with the wine, they also have a large cheese platter. I came here for dessert: The eclairs in particular are pretty tasty. I'd go back and get more of those. Fresh tea is brewed in house. Only fresh fruit and purees are used. The cheesecake dream was definitely a dream and I was so impressed how spot on the cheesecake flavor was. They blended cream cheese and graham crackers into the base and absolutely nailed the taste of any traditional cheesecake, baked or no bake. They were also super generous with the caramel which collected mostly at the bottom of the cup and throughout the entire drink barely seemed to lessen. Also fun fact they have a free drink option for your birthday where you show your ID and can redeem at the register. Love the coziness of the space as well. There's a few seats available in the back of the cafe should you want to dine in. We're tried a few of their bubble teas. Their boba gets better each time I try it. The mangonada is unique and has great mango flavor. Some of their drinks, like the mangonada, only come as a large size. The brown sugar milk tea is good. The first time I tried it, the boba was a bit hard but the flavor of the milk tea was good. We have also tried the taro milk tea, oreo smoothie, mango yogurt smoothie and strawberry sparkling ade. I also tried the oolong iced tea which was very strong. You get coupons for select dollar amount spent. This is a great location for dessert or an afternoon pick-me-up. I ordered the brown sugar and the oreo smoothie. Both were delicious. The oreo smoothie is basically a milkshake but whose is complaining. Lol Service was good. There was only one person taking the orders and making the drinks but it was made in a timely manner and delicious so no complaints here. We ordered a combo, I tried macaroons for the first time, a pistachio and cookies and cream one and the cookies one tasted like a ice cream in a cookie, very good texture and taste, sweet but not too sweet. Also the chocolate cake had a hazelnut cream that was delicious. We also ordered a Jasmine tea that was very floral and good, and a hot chocolate that was just the right amount of sweet.
