I'm new customer on cool cycle laundry and my first day it was ok, but in my second time I went there I noticed the dryer machines are no drying with $1:25 like any others. but the one peaced me off was that the chinese guy attender it took my cloths out from the washer machine a while I was there without my consent I was busy with another machine. read more

I been going here for four years I never had a problem until the last few times . I will never return the female owner is very nasty ,rude and disrespectful. She is not friendly and doesn't have customer service manners.The husband was very kind and helpful but I will never give them business again. read more

Like Cheers sitcom, Cool Cycle Laundry is a great place to go and get your clothing and linens super clean. There are various size machines from the small for delicates to jumbo for large family loads. Place is clean including a the bathroom. Folding tables have a shelf to keep your folding area open and organized along the way. They are nicely stocked with detergent/softener and laundry bags (its one of my most used bags, made of good quality). Once I brought in white velvet curtains with a stains and they came back pristine clean. This is a mom and pop business who cares to give their clients an excellent experience and service. I'm a native Staten Islander, have tried several other laundry places and Cool Cycle is my go to place. read more

When my home was flooded during hurricane Sandy one of the first things I decided to do was try and save my clothes. I came to Cool Cycle Laundry because it was open and had power, unlike most of the island. I had never been there before and knew nothing about it other than it's open status. I must have looked quite out of place, covered in mud dragging in 10-15 giant and HEAVY black trash bags full of soaking wet clothes. I was there for about 3 hours and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Not once did they complain that I was messy, leaving mud/ sticks/ grass on the ground, they came around and swept up after me with a smile. I am so grateful for Cool Cycle Laundry. Thanks to them and their awesome laundry machines I was able to save 90% of my clothes. Moreover, they were kind and compassionate and didn't make me feel guilty for bringing half the Atlantic Ocean in with me. My only regret is that my new place is nowhere near them so I can't go there regularly. read more

I was looking for a pick-up/delivery laundry service due to a busy schedule and the deterioration of the laundry room conditions in my apartment building. A neighbor recommended Cool Cycle Laundry. I found the owners to be delightful. The price is equal to the laundry room at my place of residence. The service was excellent. I prepared 2 laundry bags: one labeled cold wash/dryer OK and the second bag labeled cold wash/hang up only. I provided my own hangers for each piece of "hang-up only" items. I taped return address labels to the hangers I provided to eliminate confusion. I also provided my own detergent pods and dryer sheets. THE RESULT OF THE ABOVE WAS A PERFECT WASH. Use this laundry. Almost always really clean with machines that work well. Most of the staff is friendly and professional, eager to help if someone needs instructions or assistance. And the owner is lovely, too. Only one staff person is unpleasant- smokes a lot right outside the open front door, complains about her job and how much she has to do. I try not to go in whenever she is working, or hurry to finish if she comes in. There is always enough room to fold, places to sit while you wait and parking close by. Definitely a step above all the other local laundromats. Except for the trashy woman. read more

I used their pickup/delivery service because my apartment was being fumigated. The good: they were very prompt, my laundry was ready the next day (even though it was a huge amount), and everything smelled great. The bad: they completely ignored my labels for a bag of clothes that needed to be bleached and another that needed to be hang-dried. The bleach is a preference rather than a necessity, so not a huge deal, but THEY TUMBLE-DRIED ALL MY BRAS!!! (Along with my tights and a couple of dress shirts, all of which I had put in mesh wash bags, so even apart from the label it was obvious they were delicates.) I'm an unusual size, so my bras are incredibly expensive and DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRYER. (Normally I wouldn't send them out, but I had to because of the fumigation.) Cool Cycle also charged $6 apiece for my bathmats, which is kinda ridiculous since they're fabric (no plastic backing) and no different from washing a towel. I might use Cool Cycle again for basic things that don't need any special handling (but not bathmats, lol), but probably not. read more

I dropped off my laundry yesterday and the weight was 30ilbs. When I went to pick it up today it was 37lbs. They told me that some of the clothes were wet when dropped off and when dried it was heavier, shouldn't it be just the opposite? then he said it wasn't on the scale all the way the previous day, so an extra 7lbs. was hanging off the side and he didn't know it? stupidity is not my fault, not going back again. read more

Great customer service and excellent prices for dry cleaning! I came in pretty late with my comforter and needed it done by closing time. I came back in an hour and it was finished ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Went in at 3:00 PM on a Thursday. Plenty of washers and dryers available. Folding tables are against the walls so are out of the way of washers and dryers. Easy parking in front of the laundromat but the parking lot is a little tight. Helpful and polite staff but not annoying. read more

The staff is very nice & there is parking & a close convenience store but it's small & I found it to be a bit pricey. If you service your laundry its $.85 a pound where in other places its $.65, the washing machines are $4.00 for the large ones & the dryers, not only do they not have enough but they are $.25 for 6 minutes. The place was clean but I didn't find it effective for me price & space wise. Use at your own discretion. read more

Inpatient and rude Chinese woman (owner) always looks annoyed when dropping off. I asked to have my shirts put on hangers with I supplied and she started to roll her eyes. This time I told her she did not have to do it and I left. read more

Very friendly I get my clothes done for me there since I have little time to do it myself They are accommodating and I love this place! The price is the same for doing the laundry yourself basically so I don't mind paying for them to do my laundry beautifully read more

Honestly, they have everything you should expect: great service, clean environment, there's enough machines so you don't have to wait...good music too! Myrna is lovely and greets everyone and makes it a warm environment. I love doing my laundry there. You will too. read more

Not the best! Already they lost two belts for a sweater and a shirt I brought in to be dry cleaned. Also had two items cleaned again b/c they left stains and hair on it. Will never go back again. read more

I use this laundromat, but not sure if I'd do better elsewhere or not. I like that it's clean and spacious, and that the clientele are generally well mannered individuals who for whatever reason don't have their own washer/dryer. The workers/management are decent enough and they seem to do a big drop-off business. That being said, they recently raised their dryer price and I was never thrilled with having to put as many quarters in as I did for a normal load to dry in the first place (without having several items still "dampish" - I am talking 6 or 7 quarters for 36 and 42 minutes for a normal $2.75 washer load often wasn't enough - not talking towels and jeans but a load of white jockey underwear and sweatsocks?) Again, not sure I'd do better anyplace else - but now at 5 minutes for a quarter and 8 quarters I still come home and find myself needing to put some socks or whatever on the radiator because of some light dampness. This is mostly why I am only giving 3 stars, but you likely wouldn't do better anyplace else, and at least you're not dealing with a ghetto situation. You might want to stay away during peak times on the weekends and such but that would be true for any laundromat. read more

Dirty place, the cheat the scale, I dropped my laundry fro a same day delivery and it was not ready until the third day and it was full of cat hair, I don't have cats, they must've washed it with another customer clothes , and ha or she has a cat, don't go there , I'll drive to Brooklyn and don't go there. read more
