The ladies in the office are truly professional, giving, and honest. Our ac just stopped and it was 104 degrees. Cool Image was assigned to us through our home warranty company. Of course, all the HVAC companies are booked and there were no available appointments until the next day. I received a call later as they had a cancellation and would be out the same day!! I called several contractors; they all told me my central heating/AC multi-unit had to be replaced and was beyond repairable. So, I proceeded to locate a contractor to provide the most reasonable Quote. Amongst three contractors I selected to provide a quote, Cool Image was the only contractor to tell me "You don't need a new unit, providing we can get the parts, we can repair your unit and provide a warrantee." Cool Image saved me from spending thousands of dollars during a hard and cold time. I know that eventually I will have to replace the unit, and when I do, Cool Image will be who I will contact. I wanted to have a maintenance check done on our HVAC system in our new home before the summer season. I made an appointment and Cool Image sent out Jimmy and Jeremy the following morning. Jimmy and Jeremy completed the inspection and thoroughly explained all of their findings, gave their recommendations on action steps and they also explained what to expect if I chose to do nothing. The next day Kerry from Cool Image's office followed up with to see if I wanted to have the work completed. I called AHS to fix my heater which stopped working last night. I called them at 9:30 a.m. and they told me that cool image would be contacting me. I didn't expect to call but I decided to come on here and look at ratings as I always do. Minutes later I received a call from cool image saying they were out in my area how to receive my request and could come out between 11 and 3. Danny showed up at 10:50 was very professional and knowledgeable.. he figured out my problem within 6 minutes. He fixed it within the next 10 and after instructing me I'm how to use it left here by 11:25 a.m. I am super pleased with the service. If I ever need to call someone outside of my insurance this will be the company. And I'll make sure that AHS always calls this company. P.S. this company should be called Super Cool Image! read more

Cool Image, and Carrie and Nate (and his partner) in particular, were so good to us. Not to be too dramatic but they pretty much saved summer. They answered the phone, set an appointment, showed up on time, and gave us an honest opinion. That sounds like it should be a given, but it also seems like it's becoming less common these days. In terms of the diagnosis and actual work, they were also great. They said our a/c is older and they'd try to find the right replacement parts, but they weren't sure they could. They searched but the unit was too old to find replacement parts so they tried to salvage parts off the other non-op a/c unit and make the repair. They worked their butts off in the hot sun, on what I have to imagine is a unique project that took lots of creative thinking. They did it! They fixed our a/c and saved us thousands of dollars that we were dreading spending on a new system. Good, honest and hard-working people. My advice is to stop reading a/c repair reviews and hire these folks right now! read more

Very unprofessional and rude supervisor. The office is very disorganized they kept calling to either rescheduled or confirm multiple times. Basically the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. They sent two very young inexperienced technicians to my home. They did not have the tools to diagnose the problem. They said for me to call another company that might have the tools needed and they will come back then. When I spoke with the supervisor she began yelling saying for me to call another company that has the tools to diagnose my AC. Unbelievable!!!! Worst Company Ever!!! Go somewhere else for help is their motto. I paid $125.00 for nothing. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST!! I would give -1 if I could. Assigned them through home warranty and was told they found a leak and fixed it. Quoted one price for freon then came back and doubled it!! Found a better option for the freon, who showed that they never vacuumed the system AND there was yet another missed leak. Contacted warranty and was told they never heard of vacuuming the system. Then they changed the story when I complained and said they did in fact do a vacuum, which was a total lie. The receptionist tried to blame us and accused us of breaking the system, as if we have never owned an AC before and would do something to sabotage our own AC during a freaking heat wave. I don't usually post reviews, good or bad, but this time I felt I needed to at least post an honest review of my experience, hoping the manager or owner will see this, and ensure it doesn't keep happening. I'm only posting a review of the office staff, as in whoever is in the office making appointments and placing calls. I never got the opportunity to experience the same service that others have posted about. I received an appointment, convenient for them, and scheduled a vacation day to be home during their timeframe. Of course, It was not to be... I was one of the unlucky ones that at the end of the 4 hour timeframe, not a visit, nor a call. I placed a call to inquire when the tech would arrive, and only got the voicemail, and left a message. Received a call from a female who told me the tech was running about an hour late and asked, if I could I be here then. I tried to explain that I understood this is a busy season, etc..., however, I had accepted THEIR appointed time to come to my home, and had taken some hours off of work but needed to go to work the rest of the day. The female staff was awfully rude, said I was being difficult, wouldn't let me speak, saying it's a busy hot season...and the appointment was cancelled, at my request. First off, I understand they have a lot to do in the summer season (after all, Murphy's Law is that all ACs will go out in the hot summer months!). Second, I let them pick the appointment date and time and worked around that. Third, I expect service staff to make the appointment on time, or call and let me know at least by the time 4 hours goes by and they realize they can't make it. Fourth, I would hope they also understand working people have jobs to do too. Fifth, hire nicer office staff, not extremely rude people who treat customers like we're getting in their way and have done something wrong simply by expecting great customer service, or in her case, ANY semblance of customer service. Shame on you, there are more companies in the area who want to run a business and make money by providing excellent customer service from the phone to the door at the end of the service. read more

Having your AC repaired is one of the most stressful things to deal with as a homeowner. Thankfully Cool image took all of the stress out of it for us! The technicians were friendly and worked quickly. Everything was explained to us thoroughly and all our questions were answered. They have to be one of the most considerate companies i've ever dealt with. Christie is absolutely fabulous and helpful in every way. She made sure that i always knew what was doing on and kept me in the loop about everything. My A/C compressor went out in the middle of summer for almost a month. AHS kept giving me the run around and saying the part was on order, but never actually was. Cool image stepped up and found me a compressor from one on their own vendors and took care of me. The two gentlemen who came out to install the compressor were fast and efficient in installing it. I will only use Cool Image in the future for all my HVAC needs. read more

Called up and spoke to the office personal who walked me through in amazing detail, steps I could take to narrow down the issue to which we did and they were able to have me up and running again within that day along with the best pricing I could find even online!!! I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to write one for Cool Image as they not only provided me with amazing customer service but proved to be an HONEST company. The last 3 weeks our heater would work on and off. Within those 3 weeks I had 2 different HVAC companies come out to give estimates (we rent and needed to find the most efficient price for our landlord) both companies that came out (I will not name) left me feeling uncomfortable with their estimate and lack of communication. The first gave me an estimate for over $7900 & stated that the current system we had was irreparable and promised to send a detailed estimate so that my landlord and I could understand what the exact issue was that made the system irreparable but never did. The second company that came out missed the first appointment that was scheduled. When I called the company in regards to the missed appt the office manager never apologized and said she "would throw me on the calendar for the next day" this infuriated me as I had to take a whole day of work off as they gave me no appointment time frame they just said they would be out for sure at some point in the day. Being that their tech missed the first appointment I thought they should at least have given me a 4 hour period to make up for the lack of professionalism. Nope! The tech finally showed up just after 4:30. After about 10 minutes in the garage he said that we had a system that could be repaired but would cost upwards of $3500 & that there was no guarantee how long the system would run. He suggested it would be in our best interest to just replace the whole system. At this point I was extremely frustrated and started to believe that a new system may be necessary but luckily a friend referred me to Cool Image. On Thursday afternoon I called and Christie answered I explained to her what issues I had come across with the previous companies and asked how soon a tech could be out to diagnose the problem. At first she said there were no appointments until the next week and I instantly became a little uneasy due to the issues with the previous companies, she must have sensed it. She immediately apologized for the stress I had been through and asked if I could be flexible with the time as she would try her hardest to get me taken care of the next day. I told her I would take any appt she could give me. She said she would add me to her techs route but I may be the last appt and gave me a window between 3-7 p.m. On Friday at 5:30 their tech Jimmy showed up and started running a series of runs on my system (more than other techs did) after about 30 minutes he called me into the garage and showed me exactly what the issues were and told me it could be replaced for about $350!!! He also mentioned an issue that may arise on the cooling side but explained that it's currently not an issue but left us the option to include now or take care of later. I immediately called my landlord and he did a credit card payment by phone. Amazingly Jimmy had all parts on the truck and had our system heating as it should. Today is Sunday and I purposely waited until today to write this review as I wanted to make sure the system was running with no issues. I am so grateful for the staff at Cool Image and I hope this review is helpful to others searching for an honest and reliable Heating & AC company. read more

Had to call them out a second time because they could not fix the issue the first time. But once again they did not want to come out till a few days later because they already got their money from me. My insurance company directed me to Cornerstone air conditioning. When Danny showed up late 7pm to fix my air conditioning and just check my swamp cooler he replaced a fan in the air conditioner that broke the next day. He also did something to the swamp cooler so it wouldn't turn off. Danny panicked because he couldn't understand why the swamp cooler was piggy backed off the air conditioner. Anyway, he somehow blew the entire circuit on the swamp cooler and wanted us to pay him $500 to rewire the swamp cooler. He also showed up without a ladder the second visit. So, I called the insurance company to get Cool Image to give a second opinion. John, the owner of Cool Image personally came to help me put together what had happened. He was wonderful, they have come three times to fix the swamp cooler without charging us. This company is honest, professional and will do what it takes to make your problem right. read more

This company has to be the biggest joke EVER!!!! This company came out because our furnace stopped working properly and would over heat then turn off . The FIRST time they came out in November they told us that there was not an issue with our furnace and we just needed to change the filters in the vents.... After about 2 weeks of hoping that the filters were the issue the furnace was still over heating and turning off so we called them to come back. The SECOND visit the guy actually went into our attic and said that the furnace needed some maintenance repairs (cleaning the furnace coils). A few days later we received a phone call from them stating on top of our home warranty coverage and $125 deductible they wanted $700 out of pocket to ACCESS the extreamly hard to reach furnace and clean the coils which would take 3 to 4 hours!!! I called around to 4 other heating and air company's and they all said that they had never heard of anything so ludacris, as a fee to access a furnace and clean the coils. We contacted Cool Image again and told them what we were told by all of these other company's and the said they would eat half the cost and only charge us $300 to clean the coils. So mind you we are in late December by this time and still no heat with 5 kids in the home and Christmas days away!!! We then contacted our home warranty and paid ANOTHER service fee to have a second opinion vender come out. The second vender came out and accessed our supposedly "hard to reach furnace" and cleaned the coils and had our heater up and running in all of 30 minutes!!! No extra fee, showed us pictures of the furnaces placement (which was not in any way hard to access) as well as before and after pictures of the coils now clean. This job was completed January 26th!!! Atrocious!!!! Beware of these cheats!!! Scheduled through American Home Shield. Set appointment for 6 days out at 3-7 because they were that busy. Received a call three days later to reschedule due to a scheduling error. I rescheduled for later the same day. The day of the appointment I received a voicemail stating that they had a technician just down the street and they could come early. Not wanting them to be waiting around for me, I called and let them know that I would only be able to make the original scheduled time. I asked if the original time would work and Rheanna said I would have to reschedule again. I let her know this was already a rescheduled time and she said if I didn't like it to call American Home Shield and request a different company. Very unprofessional in my opinion. *Update*. I received a call from Kerry saying there was a miscommunication and they were in no way attempting to cancel the original appointment. I word for word asked Rheanna "Will the original time still work?" To which she answered "No we can reschedule you for a different day." I have seen multiple good reviews mainly due to technicians and several negative reviews due to office staff and scheduling. Unfortunately at this time I can only attest to the office staff of which I have the same opinion. I will update again if a technician arrives...or if they don't? read more

I had a scheduled appointment between 1pm and 5pm at 450pm the technician had not shown up yet, when I called the company they stated he would be there shortly it was not until 510pm when he showed up. Upon checking the system it was determined that the blower was bad and he would need to order a new one and would call when it came in. A week and half later I had to call them to confirm the part was in, I scheduled an appointment for a Monday morning between 9am and 1pm at 145pm the technician still had not shown up, I called the company and was told he was delayed on another job and I was next job never a call from them, again I had to do the follow up. I explained to the person from cool image I had to go to work by 3pm and she said I would have to re-schedule I tried to explain there was no other day available and I was already inconvenienced all day waiting for them at which point she stated there is nothing they could do and if I didn't like it I could go to American Home Shield and have somebody else put the part in and she hung up. If you are looking for a professional business that keep their appointment times DO NOT USE COOL IMAGE. read more

My A/C went out and I Have a Home Warranty, I Called my home warranty company and they set me up with this company whom has a very rude receptionist, from the beginning I told them I needed a SATURDAY appointment!!!! Not sure how hard it is to understand that. I was told they'd have to call me back on a Monday to see what the schedule looked like for the following Saturday, well, I never got a call back, I had to call them on Wednesday, which in turn I was told that they weren't going to be working that upcoming Saturday and I'd have to wait until the following Saturday. Well with this heat I simply said I would call my Home Warranty company back and see if they can just send another Company out. When I got in touch with them they said they would look for another company and let me know. I then got a call back the next day from my Home Warranty Company stating they talked to someone at Cool Image Heating and they were told that they in fact did go to my house and fixed my A/C!!! LIARS!!!!!! By this point I'm furious because now their making me out to be the liar, so when I called Cool Image and confronted them all she could say was that they probably said that because they are busy!!
