I arrived before they opened this morning, and was told well, we only have one installer and now it'll take several hours because they have several vehicles to work on. I purchased a used motorcycle from the Owner, at his place of business. We had agreed that I would compensate him for any fees incurred in obtaining a current Title. When I arrived, he stated that there was about $200 of fees, although he could only produce one receipt for $100. I gave him five twenties out of my wallet. He held the money briefly, then requested that I pay the full $200. He then returned the money to me. Only later did I realize that he had skimmed a twenty off the stack and gave me only four twenties back. I discovered this later. I no longer believe the other $100 for fees was valid. I have no confidence in this business Owner to do the right thing, so I am submitting this Review. Had I physical evidence of his theft, I would have contacted the Inspector General at MCAS Cherry Point. All Military personnel should be wary of dealing with him at all. As to the veracity of my claims, I am a Retired Naval Reserve Officer, and I do not make up stuff like this. read more

I had a video system installed in my new Volvo XC90 and the front windows tinted. I was a little hesitant to leave my vehicle, since it was only one week old and flawless, but felt better after the owner stated he would do all the work. When I came to pick up my vehicle, it looked really good with the new window tinting from afar. After I got closer I noticed some thin deep scratches in both doors. I pointed it out to the owner and he stated it was from cutting the tint and it should come out with rubbing compound and he left it at that. He didn't offer to have it fixed or even attempt to rub it out himself. I ended up taking the vehicle to a body shop and they said it was too deep for compound and spent $638 to have it repaired. The headrest monitors are great when they work. I've had major electrical problems, since cool image did the installation. My factory radio no longer works--no power and the video system they installed only works sometimes. I've taken it back twice now and they can't seem to pinpoint the problem. The dealership said they would be able to fix it, however, it's not a warranty issue. I guess I have no other option, but to take it to the dealership and pay out of pocket because Cool Image has been no help at all. I will NEVER do business with them again nor will my family or friends. read more
