Their specialist said it was not the battery the watch needed to be overhauled and would cost $1000 which didn't make sense since that was the original cost of the watch. They said if not it is just an expensive paper weight. A friend recommended John at Wayzata jewelers. With his experience and expertise he diagnosed the problem and cleaned a mechanism inside and replaced the battery. It worked!!!! I cannot recommend John and Wayzata Jewelers enough. Instead, he explained simply and clearly that gold mixed in the UK has different properties which make its color slightly different from US gold. He then offered to custom mix the gold for my ring and make enough to create my husband's ring, too - thus making a standard gold band something special. I would say they have a pretty decent selection of both wedding bands and engagement rings! For the engagement process, I kind of walked in there, knowing what I wanted, so the meeting was pretty short and straight to the point. Darbi set out a ton of wedding bands that I had previously expressed interest in and then brought out a couple that I hadn't thought about, I got to try them all with my engagement ring and see what I like best.
