Winter kill and weedy. Had to move the ball around to find a spot to hit from. I know it's been a tough year but it's already mid June. They should be able to get them healed up by now. The greens were no better. They should be ashamed to present their product out there like this and still be charging a premium price to play it. If they were honest about it up front so that people knew what they were getting into, charge less until things improve, I might play it again. Can't trust them so I'll never play there again.

It's the principle of the thing. This place used to be about community and loyalty. Now it's just about squeezing out every last dollar. Shame. Some of the pin placements are extremely challenging for the average golfer. The downside to all this is the pace of play. You can expect to spend 5 hours here. Other than the pace, it's a great course.

The main building was closed but signs indicate there is a marketplace available on the weekends. Otherwise the course looks beautiful, there is a large easy access parking lot and allowing sculpture access brings attention to this business.

It's been several years since I've played golf there but expected much more particularly with $175 Green fee (which includes cart fees but better of walking since carts were restricted to paths only). Tee boxes were pretty beat up but greens and fairways were in great shape. I did lose a couple of balls in the long grass but it was very open and easy to see your shots and where you needed to hit. I gave a one star lower rating than I normally would because it was the slowest round I've played in years. Our threesome finished in just under 5 hours. That is just way too long to play 18 holes. We waited on every shot. The tee times were 9 min apart which is pretty typical so I don't know why it was so slow. Also take note this was a Monday afternoon. How a Monday afternoon tee time takes 5 hours is beyond me. We did use our MN PGA card and got a good rate, loved the course, but the time to play it may be a deterrent for future rounds.

If you're looking for a challenging course but don't have the Groupon, spend your money elsewhere. To give you a reference, kids, and at a minimum 3 of them, were driving around the course while were attempting to hit on 3 holes. The greens, beautiful, but god bless you if you miss them. In a long shot, I'll certainly be back because of the difficulty and how close it is to the cities. But I'll never expect it to be 5/5 given the amount repairs that have have never been fixed, that there is a sand trap on a green.
