Not usually a big pork person, but had the Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich today and OMG. That Mountainous Sandwich loaded with Flavorful Pulled Pork and Housemade Coleslaw was Fantastic, it definitely would make the Carolinas Proud. The Moist Brisket, Ribs and Cheddar Jalapeño Sausage are some of the Best in NTX!! The House Made Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese made with real cheddar are worth the trip on their own. Cool little area with covered picnic tables. Great Customer Service and one of the Best Dudes in BBQ. Worth the trip from Anywhere!!

As with any new BBQ place I try, I veer toward any menu option that allows me to try nearly all the meats and here, it was The Tailgater combo where you can choose 3 meats and 2 sides. On to the meats! The Brisket: we asked for cuts from the flat and the point and both were quite good. Moderate smokiness with heavy pepper rub and a light bark made this a solid brisket. The Ribs: similar to the brisket with the heavy pepper rub, also pretty delicious. I would rate this a bit higher than the brisket in terms of what they do best. Overall a solid rib - tasty and smoky, although just short of that perfect tenderness where you bite in and the meat doesn't fight you. The Sausage: the jalapeno-cheddar sausage was probably my favorite here. The casing had a nice pop to it once you bit in and you were greeted with a mild jalapeno heat and an amazing cheesy flavor that may make this one of my favorite links in the area. Very few places get the combination of flavor and heat right on the JC sausages and Tailgaters has done that here. One note - they do have a covered seating area, but many people were getting take out. All in all, some great BBQ here and I was quite happy we made it out to try out such a cool local spot like Tailgaters. We plan to visit again to try out more of their tasty smoked meats and you should as well.

Nice small food park in Dalworthington Gardens/Central Arlington…read more I just happened by on a Monday but the trucks were in hibernation mode. I came back on early Saturday evening after a nice cooling rain. It was pleasantly not crowded. I got a couple of empanadas from one truck and a couple of smash burgers from another. Both items were delicious. When I go back, I want to try something from the hibachi grill. I got an Oakcliff smashburger and my son enjoyed a Dallas. We loved our burgers. You could tell they were made fresh with chunks of avocado and bacon for me! The empanadas were good if a bit small. The dough pocket could have been premade, so I'll have to try something else from that food truck. That's the beauty and draw of a food truck park as pi your able to try have what you want and still eat together! I hope people come out and give this place a try. Come check it out, they got something for nearly everybody!

Their arepas are absolutely unreal: crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside, and packed with incredible flavor. The food park has a great vibe, tons of variety, and the location in Arlington is super central and easy to get to. I've been here with family, with friends, on my own -- always a great experience. If you're looking for Venezuelan food in Arlington or the best arepas in the DFW area, you HAVE to find Autana at Ghost Food Park. Don't miss it!
