These guys within a couple of seconds of my posting, my emergency situation we're all over this extremely unexpected water pipe leak that came through my living room ceiling & found my garage with an 1 - 1 1/2 inches of water. They immediately found the problem & had it fixed within an hour @ not only that set me up with a personal friend of his to come & fix the sheet rock repair as this house is in the middle of being sold & buyers were about ti back out because of this unforeseen issue, but since Jeremiah & Efrain got it fixed up in a snap and WAY less then what I thought it was going to be. The overall experience was great from standpoint of a courteous plumber who fixed my plumbing issue promptly. I do have a problem with scheduling, I was told 1:00pm, then given window of 1-3 and the plumber showed up at 4:00. I hope in the future they can offer more accurate scheduling. Last but not least pricing!! I was quoted $49 show up fee which would then be applied to the repair if needed. I was 100% Ok with that, where I have a huge problem is regarding $50 of parts (I actually purchased the parts and was going to do the repair but had small issue with the pipe coming out of the wall) and being charged $406 for the repair. $406 to replace a "P" trap is ridiculous. The plumber spent less than an hour here. I understand $100 an hour and maybe $150 for any repair but $350 an hour is stratospheric for a plumber. Especially working under a bathroom sink with the work space clear and easily accessed by an adult. I was told $226 in the beginning and somehow it mushroomed into $406 as the final. I would have said thanks but no thanks before the work started if I knew that number. Once again I was OK at $226 but $406 is insane.... Overall I am very dissatisfied with the overall cost. I hope someone can explain to me why I was charged so much. If you are going to use this company, make sure you have a list of all costs before work starts.... read more

We noticed a water leak this morning--it's a Sunday--from where the landscapers connected an irrigation system into our main pipe (2 months ago). It had been leaking for at least a day, so we shut off the water and started calling plumbers. Daniel's was first on the yelp search, but they couldn't see us until tomorrow (Monday) at 8am. No water until then was going to be a real inconvenience, but they were all booked today and no other plumbing company we called was available sooner. They showed us how the landscapers tied in the irrigation line incorrectly, putting too much stress on the old galvanized steel pipe. We have worked with Cooper Plumbing twice. The first time we had an emergency leak, this company came out and took care of it and reinstalled a house water filter system that was incorrectly installed by the contractor. They are not the cheapest, but they are respectful and nice. They also helped us deal with the headache of unexpected expenses and were never rude despite our constant questioning. We really appreciated them helping us with a respectful understanding of unexpected expenses. Thanks y'all! The second time they came over to calibrate our hot water heaters and investigate a leak in our yard. I could tell instantly the systems were working better after. However, while inspecting the leak in our yard they dug up a Bush and said they'd be back the next day with a required tool to find the leak. I heard back from them a day later but only to schedule later in the week. I know schedules can get messy but I was really disappointed because my Bush was dug up and they weren't returning to help to prevent my water bill from going through the roof. Ultimately, I know they are good at what they do and I like them, but I was still a bit disappointed that they didn't help me when they said they would and when they knew I was relying on them. After much research and selecting Cooper because of many good reviews online, we scheduled an appointment on the Monday before the night of the big freeze for a non-freeze matter (air hammering) and were scheduled for the following Wednesday, receiving a text and e-mail confirming the appointment, but they never showed up and have never called or otherwise attempted to reach us or respond to our calls. After explaining everything, I was pretty much told what would need to happen via Yelp messenger, and everything happened as said. Chris came out the following day right around 10am, which I appreciated because I stressed my preference in having it as early as possible, and the confirmation shows a 2 hour window. He came in, was wearing a mask, took his shoes off, and went to take a look. I don't think it was even 5 minutes before he basically predicted what was wrong. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and a truly nice guy. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and what the expected solution would be. In addition, there was no charge for coming out to give a quote (even on the weekend), and he gave a quote before starting on any work. All that said... I got a little bit of sticker shock when I was handed the quote. The labor was a decent amount higher than I felt should be necessary, and the parts were significantly more. At the end of the day, I had to go with another company that wound up charging me half. So my takeaway here was this: Daniel's plumbing seemed like a professional company that would be great for a big or complex job, as the technician seemed highly knowledgeable and well-trained.
