Really torn between giving a 3 star vs 4 star rating. Location and space is great, covered seating area was great for pin trading and eating in the shade. Plenty of lawn games and the ice cream!!! What kid doesn't love a place that serves ice cream?! The plain quesadilla was good! Wasn't just cheese but a mix of black beans and red pepper onions and corn. The BLT was okay, the bacon was extra crispy and paper thin.

Great tasting ice cream. I was surprised that the mix ins were totally blended in so that there were no chunks. It would be better if you could ask for half mixed/hand mixed or extra toppings on top

1/2 Chicken platter with mac and cheese, potato salad and corn bread.

Food and ice cream were delicious! Baked beans and potato salad were my two favorite sides. Mac and cheese was a little dry for my liking.

This place is great. Didn't get pictures but did try their food. Had ice cream couple times, the wine ice cream was the best. They have couple games to enjoy like Jenga and ping pong table great ambiance. The staff is great with suggestions and very helpful.

Lots of outdoor space and open space for baseball teams to hang out. While we were there, a section was closed off for a team party so a great idea if you brought a team to Cooperstown and need a place for a team dinner. The food came out fast and was exactly as ordered. The person taking our order was very nice. The person who brought our order was nice also and explained what we ordered as he handed it to us. There is also a ton of parking which can sometimes be difficult in Cooperstown. It's a super cute atmosphere and I highly recommend it.

Great ice cream, wine and food. Lots of shaded seating. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

Customization options are huge! I had Vanilla with Blueberries and Strawberries in a milkshake

This place rocks. Take your Cooperstown Team here! They have some of the best ice cream in the area, and you can customize it with a ton of options (my fave was vanilla milkshakes with fresh blueberries and strawberries...super refreshing on a hot muggy afternoon). The best part was the many clean picnic tables and large grassy area facing the highway that had a mini frisbee area, bunch of cornholes, and 3 picnic tables. They have a really big tented area set aside for their food area, which is sorta separate from the ice cream table area. Great service on every visit, clean bathrooms, great ice cream and a place for the kids to burn-off their energy makes this place a perfect setup. Cooper's Barn has that perfect recipe here.

We just ordered burgers and fries, but they were fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, and exactly what we needed after a morning of baseball. And Karen was absolutely wonderful! She was the exact opposite of the definition of a "Karen." She was smiling, welcoming, genuinely excited to have us there, and just an absolute joy. Then there was the Long Island Iced Tea. After spending the entire morning at the baseball field and heading into the afternoon, YES, I needed one! Stephan made it, and I have to say, it was probably one of the best Long Island Iced Teas I've ever had. Phenomenal! So, if you're looking for a place in Cooperstown to grab a great meal, have a good drink, and get a little much-needed mental health time after baseball, this is your place! Thank you, Double Day Cafe, for knocking it out of the park! Great food, great drinks, and even better people. We'll definitely be back! If you want a good meal and good drinks in Cooperstown, come here!

Cute restaurant decent service went for breakfast, food was very good. I will say that their coffee is terrible, sorry just terrible cup of coffee. The whole bar area was closed and they only had one small section of tables open. No kids menu but luckily my son is ten and was able to polish off a regular sized burger. The smoked brisket sandwich was pretty good, and my girlfriend enjoyed her Mac and cheese with brisket. Both decent but nothing to rave about. The beer selection was rough. Almost no local beers available, no prices listed, no indication if a beer was available on draft or in cans/bottles. I was surprised that with a world class brewery right in their backyard (Ommegang) they only had one beer from them available, and it was a can pour. Prices are on the higher end as well. $15 for a plain hamburger with fries and $16 for plain Mac and cheese before you add any toppings. It was a decent dinner, but if we are ever in the area again we would probably seek out other options before coming back here.

She offered to bring out a couple dipping sauces for our fries, and I asked for the bourbon jelly, which she was willing to do. That initial interaction set a great tone. The food itself was very good--both burgers were delicious. Unfortunately, after we placed our order, the service dropped off completely. We waited about an hour for our food, with no check-ins, no water refills, and no acknowledgment of the delay, even though our server walked past our table multiple times. At one point, I had to get up and find someone to talk to. I asked a man near the front for a manager, explained we had been waiting an hour, and pointed out our table. No one ever came over afterward to follow up. We were later told there was a large party, which is understandable--but that's not something customers or servers can control. A simple check-in or acknowledgment would have made a big difference. Instead, we were told we "should have said something," despite no one coming to the table. At the end, we waited again for the check, and when my daughter calmly tried to explain our frustration, the server spoke over her and said, "I'm almost 50--I've been doing this since I was 17," which came across as rude and unprofessional. The food was good, but the lack of communication, attentiveness, and management involvement made this a disappointing experience.

With a group our size, we were a little nervous at first, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about! Zoey was our server and she was amazing. She handled our entire group with so much grace and professionalism. She kept everything organized, made sure the kids' food went in first, stayed on top of drinks and orders, and somehow managed to get all 30 of us taken care of and on our way in great time. So much Indian food outside major metropolitan centers in the US is either terribly underflavored, in a sad attempt to level down to provincial palates, or by contrast overspiced, in the equally ridiculous assumption that you convey authenticity via sheer capsicum, that one approaches a place like this warily. And yet what you have here is delicately-calibrated sauces, food in which you can actually taste individual seasonings and savor their interactions, the way it's supposed to be! Samosas are fresh, crunchy crispy crust rather than the doughy glop for which we so frequently settle, and rice is perfectly fluffy. Lunch servings are just the right size - not the gargantuan american portions that let you know how dubious is the quality of the meat (margins can only be maintained on those stupid portion sizes by sacrificing quality).
