Yum. In true Coop's fashion is was a tasty experience. Stopped in for a small bite and to pick up wines, and left stuffed. The food was delicious (shrimp tempura appetizer, the potstickers, smashed sliders, and fries) and the wine (Blanc de Blanc) was the perfect pairing. Reservations are needed as I feel this location is always packed. But the hype is warranted. I've never been disappointed. Cheers!

Cooper's Hawk has always been on my list of places to go. I finally had the time and made it happen. After this one and only visit, I don't think I'll be back. Once we were seated it took a little bit for our waitress to stop by. Once she did we ordered drinks and appetizers. A few minutes later we ordered our meals. All of our food came out together and took a little bit. The bisque soup was hot and pretty good. Not 5 stars good, but good. My chopped wedge salad was great! It was a lot of great flavors that meshed well together. My last course was the trio of medallions. They were good! The flavors were great! It was cooked to my liking. Our waitress noticed that when the medallions came out the cooking temperature placard was still stuck in my steak. She seemed annoyed that the kitchen staff or food runner never took it out. The pretzel bread was very delicious! My friend was not wowed by her food. For dessert I opted for a classic Reese's Peanut butter skillet cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. When it came out it was pretty dark. I thought to myself oh this is a chocolate based cookie due to its darkness. I tried to stick my spoon into the cookie. I couldn't. It was to me hardy that's when I realized it was a well done, over cooked cookie. The skillet was almost luke warm. The cookie was cold. I mentioned it to my waitress. I even asked is this how they prepare this dessert normally? Or were we trying to cut corners? I couldn't tell if she was annoyed at me, the situation or the kitchen. There were times that I was sitting there looking for our waitress. She was MIA at times. Because of that once dessert was ordered we made sure to ask for the bill so we were not waiting for her to come back. I came here for the food and atmosphere mostly. I don't drink. So I cannot report on the wine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After dinner I popped into the restroom. There were paper towels all over. It certainly needed some attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking was a mini nightmare. No spots to be had. I almost went to the valet to park as they had 7 spots open. But, I lucked out and found a spot 25 cars away from the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The men working the valet greeted us as we arrived and left. They were good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lastly, where I sat I could see right into the kitchen. At some point you had various staff members standing around, some glancing at their phones etc. so annoying and inappropriate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is not the experience I expected to have . I expected better.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We've been to Cooper's Hawk a few times over the years and we usually enjoy ourselves, but noticed that the last few times we went it was ridiculously loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This past month we figured out we hadn't visited since 2023 when we had a not so great service experience. They gave us free meal tickets, but unfortunately, they had expired and would not honor them this time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regardless, we did manage to score a quiet booth against the center wall so the noise level did not impede conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was Zach- who was decently attentive and pleasant. He forgot to bring us the pretzel bread appetizer, but it was a happy accident because we ended up using it for the divinity inspired sauce that came with the butternut squash ravioli! But I get ahead of myself. For cocktails I ordered a Red wine flight and my husband got the Pbj old-fashioned; which was a healthy pour with a sidecar of sweet red wine. Definitely interesting and for $14 was certainly a bargain. Not sure we would repeat because we enjoyed the red wine flight a little more. But it was definitely worth a try. For an appetizer, we ordered the Asian Ahi Tuna sashimi and it was truly amazing. Our only complaint was there wasn't enough for two people lol. We both could've had a whole additional serving because it was soooo good. We ordered the two specials for dinner: the surf and turf which had black truffle, crusted filet and lobster tail stuffed with blue crab. We also got the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp and scallop. The filet was really good but the crab in the lobster tail was fishy so the butternut squash ravioli won out! It was delicious. As I mentioned earlier Zach forgot to bring the pretzel bread for our appetizer but it worked out perfectly because we were able to use it for sopping up the butternut squash ravioli sauce. Could not get enough of it. We really enjoyed our food and service this time and will not wait another two years to come back. Parking: They were super busy and the parking is tough because it's shared with other restaurants so unless you do valet be prepared to walk because there are plenty of mall parking spaces across the road.

Yesterday was my 12th and final visit to Cooper's Hawk. I know restaurants don't actually care when you're like, "Oh, you've lost a customer!" Especially a chain like CH, but I'm going to voice my feelings here regardless, since they weren't considered in person. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked a reservation for two indoors; it was a muggy evening with a chance of storms and a tornado watch, so not exactly al fresco dining weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I know restaurants tend to be cold in the summer, so I wore pants, a 3-quarter length shirt, and a cardigan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we were seated, I told the host that it was frigid there and asked if there were air vents nearby. She said two. I pointed out that it was very cold and she blankly stared at me, so I said, "Okay guess I'll deal" and sat down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When our server came over, I told him how cold I was too, as I realized the air was a direct hit, and he agreed that it was cold -- the night before had apparently been hot so management was overcompensating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If a server who's moving around, running in and out of a kitchen, says he's cold -- you know it's time to dial up the temp just a tad.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every time he came over after that, I pointed out how cold I was and he agreed. Finally, after 50 minutes, I couldn't handle it anymore and made my way back to the host stand, told them I couldn't tolerate the air anymore, and told them to move me. No apology, just pure annoyance from the host staff, so I marched back over and our server said we could sit in a booth that was behind the table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't AS frigid for me there (as it was hitting my mom straight on instead), but it was still a miserable experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Considering how many times I voiced my feelings directly, a manager 1,000% should have shown up -- but they did not. Heck, even a comped hot beverage like a tea would've been appreciated! Nada on that front either. I just left feeling like I dined in a walk-in freezer. The food was good, I love their mahi mahi, but I can go ahead and live without it moving forward. I'd rather support businesses that actually care about their patrons.

Always a great meal! Our waitress JB made sure we really enjoyed our first experience at Coopers Hawk. We will be coming back very soon.

Always a great time! Wine tastings are the best and the food is okay. Service and ambiance are top tier!

This restaurant never disappoints even during the busy holiday weekend. Took some family and friends to the wine tasting. Afterwards we grab some food to share. Wish I remember the waiter name because he was fabulous and gave really good recommendations during our time there. We ended up grabbing several bottle before our departure. Highly recommend this location. Also their truffles are amazing and worth adding to your wine tasting .

Three stars is for the Wine tasting, bc the food is not that good. Loved the wine tasting and my server Chris! He made the experience great. On the flip side the restaurant part was not my favorite. The service took forever and my server seemed agitated. The apps were better than our actual meals.

Sooooo...I'll start with it was a Saturday night so we expected it to be quite busy. The wine was wonderful of course, I mean it is a winery after all lol. The service was not horrendous, but there was a wait for everything and in between the server was not attentive in the least. It was giving cafeteria vibes. It took about an hour and some change for us to get our food & three of us at the table ordered the same meal. I'm not exactly sure what it was supposed to look like, but we all confidently had different expectations. For the Short Rib Risotto to be $30+, I expected to have an actual short rib on top of risotto, not mixed together within the risotto. The taste was okay, but overall it was very underwhelming & quite disappointing to say the least. Cant say I would get it again, but I kinda want to see if it'll be the same.

We love the wine bar and our monthly wine tasting with friends. DREW is one of our favorites and he's very knowledgeable about the wines. We always eat afterwards and love the food. The Happy Hour menu is great as is the dinner or lunch menu.

Almond Sparkling Wine. My favorite. So delicate & mellow.

This was my 3rd visit to Cooper Hawk's Winery & Restaurant. My first experience went very well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed the food, the ambiance & the service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My first visit was during lunch hours on a weekday. My second visit actually never happened in as far as actually sitting down & eating. I made a reservation for Father Day dinner a few years ago & even with the reservation my party & I waited 2 hours to be seated & then were told it would take at least an hour for us to receive our food so needless to say, we left. On this my 3rd visit, there were both positive & negative aspects to my dining experience . I had reservations this time as well & we were seating very quickly. It was once we got to our table that the issues started. First both the appetizer & the entree I wanted were both SOLD OUT??? So I opted for the wedge salad & the corn & tomato risotto on the menu. Both tasted delicious. The presentation, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. The wedge salad was NOT a traditional wedge salad. It was a tossed salad with a wedge of lettuce on one side of the plate. And although the risotto was quite tasty, the was a pool of oil accumulated on one side of the dish which was very off putting. Considering how pricey of an establishment Cooper's Hawk is[and I am saying this as someone who dines at A LOT of high end restaurants] these type of errors in presentation should not be occurring. On the positive side was our server was courteous, professional & provided great menu suggestions. She also seemed to genuinely care about the subpar kitchen service being provided to the diners. I noticed people being seated for at least 30 minutes & still did not have drinks or any food. As for cocktails we ordered, I had the Strawberry Mule, which was very tasty. My sister order a customized wine flight, which she enjoyed very much. Both, however, took a while to arrive at our table, as did our entrees. Thankfully I ordered an appetizer. If I do Decide to return to Cooper's Hawk again, it would be for the cocktails, the wine & also the shop at the entrance to the restaurant. I may also give their lunch hours another try but I think for dinner I am done. They definitely have a lot of dining potholes that need to be filled.

Tonight was my first time here and mom's 60th bday dinner. It was very nice going in, though I wasn't greeted, I had made my way to a corner to wait since I got there before mom. Whoever took the reservation must've forgotten to write down that it was a bday celebration dinner, since the card didn't have anything under "Celebration", but I wrote down birthday and drew a candle so our server was able to wish her a happy bday. Mom got a flight of wine, expecting 4 smaller glasses, only to get 4 full glasses of wine. We did have to wait a bit for drinks, as our server may not have been told about us sitting immediately. He was great, though the drinks occasionally took a minute. He even snuck up for a surprise bday song with a pair of truffles for mom's birthday.

Tonight had the joy of going back to coopers but instead of wine tasting I ate in. The reservation process was super easy thru their app as I am a wine member. You can also make reservations on open table. The parking lot was full but valet was offered. We were greeted by Ricardo and Thomas who were super sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated at a very cute round booth with the best server, Sophie![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Her customer service was top tier. She was so knowledgeable and super accommodating with our eating and a picky teenager. We truly enjoyed our food and the company of our server. I even made a special request for my espresso martini to be made with tequila instead and they were so happy to get it done. The Bartender April really outdid herself with that one! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music played in the background was 90s soul and R&B and really did something to my spirit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall the restaurant was clean, the service was top tier and the plating and taste was amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Go enjoy Coopers but make sure you make a reservation!

Shrimp and scallop risotto that look like it was sitting under a heat lamp! Definitely sent it back!

We were hoping to find a vineyard and found Spring Run on one of our searches. We called while we were in the parking lot and the super friendly owner answered and apologized that she was closed that day but talked us into visiting them the next day. We almost didn't make it the next day but we managed it and I'm so happy that we did! The owners are super friendly and explained the history of the vineyard and it was so beautiful and peaceful to just sit there and enjoy some wine and cheese and talk to the owners. We did wine flights and my favorite was their blackberry wine which we both ended up taking bottles of home with us. I thought the blackberry wine would be too sweet as I'm not a fan of sweet wine but it was more fruity than sweet and had the perfect taste. We also tried the Goot Essa Cheese and Rip Rap crackers and I can honestly say that it was some of the best cheese I had ever tasted! It's a 3 year sharp cheddar and it went perfectly with our wine flights! We also ended up taking a couple souvenir shirts with us as a memory to our awesome experience. I have family in Virginia and will definitely be making time to visit this vineyard again when I make it back!
