After neglecting our reverse osmosis water filtration system for five years, we (finally) made an appointment for service. The appointment was the next business day -- Jaden, the technician, obviously does this a LOT and knows all the tricks. He showed up on time, texted when he arrived (as I requested), was courteous and professional, and changed the filters AND the membrane in under half an hour! I used Cooper's to install an RO system several years ago. Initially, all went well, but I was discouraged when the RO spigot began to chip after 6 months or so. Recently, I asked them to replace all filters in our RO system, which was overdue. While the technician was pleasant, I was upset that the cost was $368 in total for materials and about 15 minutes of his time. To be fair, that included replacing the membrane, but they have become substantially overpriced based on my research. Between the poor quality of the RO spigot and the high cost, would not recommend. read more

I had a minor issue with my water softener that CWC installed almost 2 years ago (salt tank was full of water). I called and talked with a very helpful man who looked at my records and advised it was nearly time for my yearly RO filter change. He advised they could come check the water softener and change my filters together the very next day! Paul the tech arrived promptly first thing the next morning. He tested my water and explained the readings to me. He also found the source of the problem with the water softener very quickly and had the part available on his truck. He repaired it, then explained in detail what the problem was. I really appreciated his thoroughness and for telling me more about my unit. As per their warranty (7 years parts and labor), the water softener repair was no charge and the filters with installation were ~$150. My initial discussion via phone with them was very positive and informative so I went ahead and scheduled the installation. Paul was my installer and he did a fantastic job. He called ahead to confirm the address and directions (Google maps is a hater) and let me know he was on his way. Once he was ready to install he asked if I had any questions and explained the process to me in detail. After he was done, he went over the entire system and was patient in answering my questions. He even explained how long it would take to get the hard water out of my system if I did nothing or if I ran the tub to quickly get to the soft water. Highly highly highly recommend this company. Our Noblesville home was built around 1890. Needless to say, the plumbing had gone thru various stages of add-ons, patches, and cobblings together. We got a water softener installed less than a year ago. Picked this company because it had a good warranty vs cost. Almost immediately we experienced some flooding around the softener in our basement after softener regenerated. Called them to come check and of course their representative said softener had no problems. He claimed, "Must be an obstruction in the drain pipes causing the leak". We let it go for awhile not having time to fix it, then had an independent plumbing company snake the lines for $375. No obstruction. This company's plumber said the water softener's regeneration line is installed at a point that overwhelms the existing plumbing, resulting in backflow and flooding through a vent. Called Cooper's back up, they sent a technician who ran a quick regeneration test and it immediately backed up and leaked from vent. Said he would fix it, but would charge us full parts and labor price. So we're out $375 plus need to pay him additional $359 to fix their faulty installation! This is just bad business practice and I would not recommend this company at all. read more

Just moved to Indiana and purchased a home with an existing Cooper's Water purification system. I was unfamiliar with the under counter RO system and felt I needed to have fresh filters installed, I placed a service call with Cooper's and they sent field technician Abel out. He was very nice, professional and informative. He fully explained the system to me while he changed out the filters, checked for leaks and tested the system. He also went down into the basement and verified that the water conditioner unit was also theirs and verified salt levels and explained the system and proper maintenance as well. Just moved to Indy and apparently Indy have one of the most hardest water in the states. Called in and brought in bunch of salesmen. Out of all of them, we liked cooper's water the best. Scott, the owner, came out and sold us on the water softener and the drinking water system. We thought the price was fair. He did offer discounts for paying cash. The installer was quick and kind. We had no problem with him. The drinking water system we've got was bit bigger than I thought. It takes up half of my bottom of the sink area. So far, our water system is working nicely. I will see if something breaks, how their customer service will be. They do have 7 years warranty on all of their water softener I believe. So far, I do recommend this company. read more

Craig replied promptly, asked some general questions about what issues I am currently seeing and our current model and advised me on what possible issues I may be experiencing. He advised that they wouldn't be appropriate for my issue. This prompted further investigation on my part which lead to a slab leak rather than a water softener issue. I called Coopers after the contractor my home warranty company sent missed two appointments. Mr Cooper (I'm guessing) arrived on time for the initial appointment and carried his briefcase like an OG salesman - I actually appreciate a simple old school approach! I purchased the softener for about the same amount my warranty company had paid me for - and knowing warranty companies, they nickel and dime, so the price from Cooper's was great. I had Cooper's Water Conditioning install a softener about 2 years ago. This system works flawlessly and transparently. We go to Florida for 3 months in the winter and I don't do anything to it. It doesn't waste salt if I'm not using water and takes off once we get back. All I do is check the salt level periodically (about every 4-6 months) and refill if needed. The service technician was outstanding. I even called them 2 years after they installed my unit to see if they would move it because I wanted to make room for another piece of equipment. Several months ago my aging Whirlpool WHES33 water softener stopped working. I performed all the steps prescribed by the owner's manual to remedy the problem, but nothing worked. At the urging of a friend, I contacted Cooper Water Conditioning for service. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone there was more than courteous, and after describing the problem to him, he urged me to simply unplug the unit from its electrical power source for an hour or so and then plug it back in. With that, the unit should automatically reset itself. It worked! The owner's manual mentioned nothing about addressing the problem in this manner, and the gentleman I spoke to at Cooper's had no obligation to share this remedy with me without first making a service call. That gesture alone clearly demonstrated to me that Cooper's is a quality and knowledgeable organization. The unit has worked normally ever since, but if I encounter another problem or that time arrives when I need to replace the unit, I'll definitely know who to call. read more
