Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

Everyone from Chapman was clean, courteous and did great work. It wasn't cheap for any of this, but we feel that the prices were reasonable, especially since we were 100% done the very next day.

He said the ceiling was dry and hard when he touched it, yet he still proceeded, clearly just to take money from the customer. I paid $422 for 15 minutes of work, simply for someone to cut into the ceiling for no valid reason. I also believed that you said you would be responsible for everything from A to Z, but I was very surprised when he said that someone else would have to be paid to fix the damage he caused without properly checking first. Honestly, this was a complete rip-off. I will be leaving a Google review detailing everything that happened and filing a complaint with the BBB. If necessary, I will also pursue this in small claims court and let them decide. I truly did not expect this kind of experience.

I spoke to Tom Day, Service Department Manager, who promptly sent out Derone (Hope that is spelled correctly) to assess the situation. He was very thorough in his examination of the problem. When Tom arrived to verify what Derone had discovered, they both called me to let me know how they would handle the repair and the step involved. VERY Professional assessment and recommendation! I agreed to their recommendation at approx. 2pm and they scheduled me for the following morning. They had a mini excavator delivered, the "call before you dig guys" mark all the underground lines and called me to confirm an 8 am start time, all before end of the evening. Everyone showed up at exactly 8am and began their repairs. Not only were they dead on with their recommendation, they were almost $7,500 LESS than a quote I had received a different plumber that I called before my brother recommended Mission Mechanical. Yes, $7,500 less. I found my new "Go To" company for my HVAC/Plumbing needs. I had some understanding of the situation and I know NOTHING about plumbing. He didn't try to add on extra services or un-necessary repairs. He was on time, very polite and solved our problems. It's obvious how knowledgeable and experienced he is. We thought this malfunction involving the septic system and our bathrooms was going to become a very expensive monster. It was manageable and we were all able to sleep easy that night. He is going to come back next week to check up on things and advised us to call if we have further issues.
