What we received instead was a dysfunctional unit from day one. Two weeks later, it's still not working--and not a single person at Delcor is stepping up to resolve the issue in any meaningful way. I'm not just speaking as a frustrated customer--I'm speaking as someone who tried to do everything right. We didn't go with a cut-rate contractor. We chose a well-known company and paid upfront for a full system. That trust was met with radio silence, departmental runarounds, and a shocking lack of urgency. Let me be clear: the unit had defects from the moment it was declared "installed." It leaked. It was missing critical components. And instead of taking accountability, Delcor has chosen delay over resolution. They continue to request final payment for a job that isn't done. Not working. Not livable. I had Carolina Quality Air come and clean my HVAC Ductwork in my home and they were awsome. I had…read moremold in my ductwork that was causing me to feel like I had a cold all the time. A friend had told me that they had cleaned his ductwork about 5 years ago and he was very happy with them so I gave them a call, along with calling some guy that runs ads on TV everyday. The other guy from Kinston didn't seem to know as much as Perry did about duct cleaning and he told m e that he and his crew leader were both certified by the Narional Air Duct Cleaners Association, I found out later that he's actually the Regional Cordinater with them, so I scheduled an appointment. The workers showed up about 15 mins ahead of time, which was ok. They took about 6 hours and were all in my attic and under my home cleaning the ducts. They were very professional, and clean in their work. They also informed me of what they were doing as the job progressed. I can breath sooooooooooo much better, no stuffy nose, and the air in my house smells so much better now.
