DO NOT USE RENNICK AUCTIONS, RENNICK ART & ANTIQUES, OR RON RENNICK!…read moreI contacted Mr. Rennick on Thursday, June 12, to bid on a 1956 T-Bird on June 14. This was as a result of a postcard sent by Rennick. I told him that I wanted to place an absentee phone bid on this car, and told him I could give my Visa Card for any deposit he required. A friend of mine actually works for him, and I have known Mr. Rennick for about 12 years. As a result of this relationship, he said he or his sons, or an employee, would contact me from the auction (owners property), at about 10:30 am Florida time. I gave him my cell phone number, and his manager, my Visa information. Mr. Rennick also contacted the owner of the car, who called me & sent me photos of the car. I told the owner, as I told Mr. Rennick, I would be bidding on the car. I held my cell phone in my hand from 9 am-2 pm, Florida time, waiting for the call from Mr. Rennick to bid. It never came. I called the auciton house, and told them Mr. Rennick was going to call me to bid, and see why he hadn't. At 4:30 pm, Mr. Rennick called me. He suddenly "apparently had a memory lapse", as he said he didn't remember that he was going to call me to bid, "did I send in a cashiers check or bank letter?"! I told him no, repeating that 2 days earlier, he agreed to take my Visa number & call me! He said "well, my memory isn't as good as it used to be"! I told him that I had a large real estate brokerage firm for many years, that I never forgot to contact someone who was interested in buying a property...that this I'm sure he knows how to run an auction business. I asked him how much the car sold for-he said he "thought" $24,000..."thought"-this was despite the fact that the sale was 4 hours earlier, and he only had about 6 cars to sell, this being the most valuable. I told him I was going to bid to $35,000-that I had done my due dilligence on the cars value, especially having gotten all the information I needed from his seller. I told him he didn't represent the clients, on this sale-he cost them about $10,000 more-which I would have gladly paid! Mr. Rennick is in a very wealthy town, filled with elderly people, who many times either don't know the value of the real estate, or personal property, or their heirs fly in, rely on information that I don't believe is given. This is only my opinion. I strongly suggest sellers use due caution-perhaps having a good & fair reserve-which this car didn't have, nor were the sellers (or I)-represented fairly!

When my father-in-law passed away, we needed to sell the contents of the house, clean it out, and prepare it for sale. Tori guided us through the entire process and gave us great advice, but most importantly, she showed incredible patience and genuine humanity while dealing with different members of our family. We truly appreciated her support during such a difficult time, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and professional. Michelle Gilbert

FL, and have no local contacts, we found Tori thru the internet having searched for an honest individual w/ a good reputation who would do both the estate sale and cleanout. Tori was the person we hired after a meeting via Zoom. We also met her IRL when we went to FL prior to the actual sale. Tori was equipped to not only do the sale, she also would dispose of the post-sale remaining items via consignment, donation, auction and landfill as appropriate. Tori's marketing, actual 2-day sale and final dispostioning were done without any issues at all. Following the estate sale we received a lengthy receipt which accounted for everything. And, copies of receipts for donations are on the way to us too. Items on consignment will be sold over a period of time. Tori's fee is in line with other companies doing this work. I can't say enough about the professionalism and ease of communication with Tori who owns Cubed Consign & Cleanout. She and her team did a wonderful job. And - for those of us who live far away and maybe have strong emotional attachments to things to be sold - I don't think you can find a better way to handle this process. Thank you Tori and the C3 team.

We must be on an account with Copart thru the lien holder on file. So much inventory in the lot, so it was too bad it did not work out today with a tainted experience. I understand it was red tape due to liability concerns.

Had a minor cosmetic incident with a piece of rebar in the road. My Car was left undriveable so my Insurer had Copart tow to their lot. It was a Saturday. I was assured a driver would be on site in 15 minutes. Over three (3) hours later my car was retrieved. I contacted the driver because I left my Garage Door Opener in the car. We agreed to meet at the lot. After he kept me waiting three hours, he wouldnt wait five minutes for me to pick up my garage door opener. Following Monday morning - before 9 am - Copart contacted me to sign papers authorizing the destruction of my car. Even though my adjuster had not even looked over the car yet, which only needed a new front bumper, Copart decided it was a total loss. Fortunately, the Insurer had the car moved from Copart to Crash Champions for repairs. Copart only had the car for a couple of days. HOWEVER, when I picked up my car a month later, the greasy little paws of the greedy animals at Copart had (1) taken my license plate, my license plate frame, the hardware, all the change in my center console, my Garage Door Opener, and with the finesse of a retarded monkey, mangled my windshield removing and destroying my (brand new) Sunpass. When Copart was contacted to return my license plate (without the frame or hardware) they took well over an hour, wasting my afternoon and making excuse after excuse for their ineptitude and anticipatory misconduct. My Car was never totaled, but with a few extra minutes I have no doubt it would have been stripped bare. NOT RECOMMENDED.
