They repeatedly assured me--through videos and reports--that the vehicle was in mint condition. Based on their representations, my wife and I traveled to Margate on July 18, 2026, spending over $600 in travel costs to finalize the purchase. When we arrived, the salesperson tried to complete all the paperwork before allowing us to inspect the car. Once we insisted on seeing it, the issue became immediately obvious: the interior reeked of strong cigarette smoke. The salesperson admitted he had tried multiple times to have it detailed, and when Matt Freking opened the door, he instantly confirmed the odor was from cigarettes. This vehicle was originally sold by Arrigo in 2023 and serviced ten times before being traded back in. It is hard to believe that no one at Arrigo noticed--or disclosed--that the car was heavily contaminated by cigarette smoke. We received no apology from Matt or Arturo for the wasted day, the travel, or the misrepresentation. If you are considering this vehicle, the safest choice is to walk away. Thirdhand smoke is extremely difficult to remove and poses ongoing health risks. Very disappointing experience.

Friendly,Honest and Straight forward"…read more  - Sparks55 We went to the dealer with an impossibly tight budget for a used car. Rob took us in hand and did an internet search of all their dealers and found several vehicles that met our needs, Linda our sales lady brought them to the dealership for us to look at. They kept trying until they found our Mitsubishi Outlander. They bent over backwards to find us a car within our budget. Jay the finance manager was friendly, enjoyed talking while he was working on the paperwork. I give them 5 star reviews for their honesty and their straight forward no nonsense sales strategy. When I got there at 9:05, I was told that "[my] service advisor was out today. Go in and have a seat, and another advisor will get you set up." I don't know how that was possible, because I hadn't done anything to select a service advisor, or go through chat, but I did what I was asked to do. I watched people who were there before me go to the desks. I watched people who came in after me go to the desks, and at 10:15 I still hadn't even talked to a service advisor, so I told the young lady at the customer service desk that I'd been waiting for an hour without even talking to an advisor and I didn't have all day to wait. I canceled my appointment, went to the oil change place a block away, and was on my way back home in 25 minutes. I don't anticipate ever going back.

It's a couple of months after my purchase - my new truck is PERFECTION - not a single concern, extremely happy! I highly recommend Coggin Acura if you're looking for an honest good deal on a vehicle & don't want put up with any monkey business getting on the road quickly with your new car.

Unacceptable Service and Total Lack of Concern We have been…read moreloyal Acura customers for over 10 years and have leased or purchased more than eight vehicles with the brand, but our experience with Coggin Acura Services has been an absolute nightmare. We are almost two years into a lease on a 2025 Acura with about 30,000 miles, and we have had to bring it in for service ten different times . The starter has failed and been replaced three times, the battery was replaced, the AC recently had to be worked on , the rear seatbelt sensors malfunction , and the radio constantly cuts in and out on resulting in loss of GPS functions during road trips. Most dangerously, my kids and I have been left stranded at traffic lights and stranded in a parking lot when the started on/off feature malfunctions and the car decides to not turn on. Every single time we bring the car in, the service department just patches the issue and sends us on our way, only for the exact same problems to return a few months later. When we finally sought real help, or so we thought the General Manager Melvin B. completely dismissed our safety concerns. We were essentially told to go elsewhere if we are unhappy with the sevice dept at Coggin or start a new lease and get rid of this car--requiring us to pay out-of-pocket for a vehicle default we didn't cause. We feel completely helpless, unsafe, and uncared for. Coggin Acura has completely destroyed our trust and confidence in this luxury brand. . We hope Acura/Honda Corporate steps in to rectify this, because this dealership's management and customer service are completely unacceptable.

It's not often that you can give a car dealer a 5 star review but I'm now a big fan of this…read morecompany. You know the usual runaround you get when you try to buy, trade or sell a car to car dealers. The garbage tactics they use can be so tiring... and so OLD SCHOOL if CarMax is the new way to buy/trade/ or sell a car. Although I've purchased and sold many cars, this was my first dealings with CarMax and it was unlike any "dealer" experience I've ever had. We saw a car for sale online from a CarMax store in Tampa, FL that was exactly what we were looking for. We had a choice to drive to Tampa (a 3 1/2 hour drive) or have CarMax ship the car for $100 to our local Jensen Beach, FL store. We hesitantly chose to pay the fee. A nice touch, the company kept us in the loop on when the car shipped, arrived and was ready for viewing. We stopped in, viewed, provided our drivers license and drove the car and found it to be everything the ad stated. We decide to buy the car on the spot. Here's where it gets interesting. Unlike car dealerships, there was no haggling, hand offs to the finance manager, hard sells, etc that are the usual games car dealers play. Simply here's our price, take her out, if you like the car, sign here. If not, check around, compare prices, (which we had done previously and their price was on the low end of all we saw) and if you like it, sign here. Your new (used) car will be ready for you in a few minutes (which it was)! Have a trade in (which we did)? Great let's look at it, take some pictures and here's our offer (good for 7 days at any CarMax store). End result we traded in our old used car and got our new (used) car in one painless transaction! THE COMPARISON: This is where CarMax really stands out... We also had a car that we wanted to sell straight up. It was a Chevy Equinox that had only 4,000 miles on it. We knew that because of its like new condition and really low mileage, it would be pretty desirable and bring a good price. We decided to first, get a bid from Wallace Chevrolet in Stuart, Fl. Clearly the used car manager did not think the great condition or low mileage was important. After going through all the typical sales garbage they throw at you.... "How much do you want for the car?" (Dumb question that has no relation to how much they'll pay). "The new model is redesigned so there's not much call for this year" (you can stop the set up and just give me the price you'll pay)! "White's not really a good color" (BS, this is Florida, do I look like I was born yesterday?) "This is the best price you'll get anywhere but, it's only good for 24 hours" (Right dude!). After all the typical car dealer garbage laid on us, they gave us a price of $23,500. What was Carmax's (no bs) good for 7 days price? $25,000. Guess who now owns our Chevy Equinox? You bet... CarMax! Why anyone would go to a dealer to sell/trade or buy a used car is beyond me.
