Marcy White treated me with micro-needling. This the most fantastic cosmetic procedure I have ever experienced. Marcy's style of micro-needling is very different from the previous dermatological micro-needling I have had in the past. The previous treatments by dermatologist were uncomfortable and had a longer recovery. The cost is far less and the treatment was holistic. The results are better with no down time for healing. Marcy used LED lights, custom organic serums along with the micro needling. The unexpected bonus was that Marcy made custom blended after care products for home use. I was looking for someone on the North Shore who did micro-needling. The previous micro-needling was so aggressive and expensive. I would recommend Marcy to anyone who wants a great experience. Marcy White, L.Ac., M.Ac., Dipl.Ac., is my hero. After a back surgery for a herniated disc in 2003, I could find no relief from pain. I tried modern medicine, and nothing helped. A friend recommended that I try acupuncture, and since then it has become a monthly routine. Marcy really took the time to get to know me in an extended first appointment. Thereafter, I started hour-long weekly sessions, and eventually, graduated to once-a-month treatments. Marcy uses all of the traditional tools of acupuncture, and she takes the initiative to change her treatment plan based on what my body is telling her and what is happening in my life. The office is easy to get to (near the Copley Square green line stop), and the ambiance is wonderful. Marcy provides an assortment of teas to sip, and plays relaxing music during the session. The other reviewers aren't exaggerating: Marcy White is amazing. I came to Copley Acupuncture in hopes of improving my sleep. But to my surprise, sleep wasn't the only thing acupuncture helped. After my very first visit, my persistent cat allergies were significantly improved. Those improvements have remained, and over several more visits, I've also begun sleeping much better and feeling more relaxed. I truly feel significantly healthier since I started acupuncture treatment. The actual process is totally relaxing--another surprise. On your first visit, which takes about 2 hours total, Marcy reviews a detailed health intake form with you and learns all about your body. Once she's gotten a bead on your issues, she has you lay on a comfortable massage table in a well-heated room, usually with socks off. The needles pinch a bit going in, but after a second, you can't feel them any more. Marcy will leave you with the lights off, soft music playing, and a heat lamp keeping your feet warm for 20-30 minutes while the needles work their magic. I've come close to falling asleep during treatment. Marcy herself is really fun to talk to and does a nice job bridging the Eastern philosophies behind acupuncture with concepts from Western medicine. I'm still not sure I totally buy into the ideas behind acupuncture, but there's no denying it's helped me feel better, and I appreciate how knowledgeable Marcy is about the history and application of acupuncture. She's always happy to explain why she is doing something. Acupuncture with Marcy is not as expensive as I had feared, especially after a discount for my health insurance. I'm able to pay by credit card and instantly receive an email receipt. Honestly, I would still go even if it cost more, because it is so relaxing and it has helped me so much. read more

I started seeing Marcy for acupuncture almost 2 years ago for migraines, neck/shoulder pain, and some other health issues. I loved the experience from the very beginning and would never go anywhere else in Boston. I have returned time and time again for various complaints and ailments and her treatment has always helped. The bottom line: Her treatment is effective. What's even better than that? She really cares about you and your health, like really. I wish western medicine could only be so enlightened! She takes a holistic approach, trying to understand you and your body in the context of your life circumstances. She understands how it all fits together and explains it to you, which is really cool. While she doesn't do herbs, she offers guidance on supplements, herbal teas, and other ideas to support your body's recovery, health and wellness (but she can also refer you to one). Marcy White is truly amazing. She is literally changing my life. And I am not exaggerating or being dramatic! I came to her about 6 weeks ago for a longstanding issue. Acupuncture had been helpful for me in the past and I wanted to try it again. However, something was always missing from the process..until I met Marcy! While I saw improvements before, they were NOTHING compared to the progress I am making with Marcy. I am essentially pain free and feel liberated, honestly. Taking medication is not an option given some horrible side effects I experienced and thanks to Marcy, I feel like I can manage any pain/discomfort with acupuncture and dietary changes. Amazingly, I have experienced little to no pain since I started seeing Marcy. I started out going twice a week and now am going weekly given my progress. I can't say enough about how fantastic Marcy is. Copley acupuncture is amazing! I seriously feel as though it changed my life. I work on the computer a lot, and thus have had some major wrist and back issues. Acupuncture and cupping have made a major difference - when I leave I feel like I have just had a massage. I have sent friends who have had migraine trouble and they too have had great results. I first went to see Marcy for a nagging running injury (achilles strain). I had received acupuncture before but my experience with Marcy was completely different. Hi!!! I started going to Marcy in 2015, I dislocated my shoulder 3 different times, and had a pinched nerve between my spine and shoulder blade, I went once a month, everything she did worked, it absolutely worked! I am able to sleep at night due to lack of shoulder pain, this winter has been great to my shoulder, the pain isn't there unless I sleep incorrectly or overexert at the gym. Marcy White is excellent. I have worked on several medical conditions with her with great success. She uses Japanese acupuncture needles which are thinner than the Chinese ones, so less pain!
