They really know how to put together a plate of breakfast staples that had you wondering if you were imaging it all because it can't be as good as it looks. Then, moving to the dinner menu, we'll, again, proportions were huge. No skimping on the sides or the main courses. However, for a places specializing in bbq, I was underwhelmed. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but the brisket was thinly sliced (good) but was bordering on dry and chewy (not so good). The service was very good -- there when you needed them, but not so much as to interfere with conversations. Go for breakfast or burgers, but be selective about the daily specials and you'll understand why small town diners can be go-to places for travelers.
