This area needs more places to eat or even just hang out with friends and have a few beers. They do have man of law, which is a great local brew, and that'll keep me coming back! However, it is a bit on the pricey side - dinner for two and four beers = $60! These kinds of prices will limit our visits, unless they have beer specials and then we will likely frequent those days lol. So my husband wanted to try this Pub after hearing some reviews on the food. It has a nice vibe when we walked in. We waited for our server who was very pregnant and very busy with her customers. We finally got our drinks 20 minutes later. We ordered and waited patiently for our food as I was drooling because I was so hungry. They brought out the adults food first and made the kid wait for his. Not cool!!! Kids food comes first is a given. Then as my husband begun to dig into his Irish chicken there was literally a hair standing straight up on top of his food. And he waited patiently for that? No thank you. So he sends it back and began to eat his Irish chili soup he ordered on the side and the meat was not cooked all the way. Now he's big mad to say the least. He told the server to take it back and take his meal off the bill because he wasn't trying anything else, which she did. I'm full and he left hungry and mad because he suggested it and he hated it. My pub burger was OK and no hair but I've had a better burger at a fast food place that was much cheaper. Now I will pay a hundred dollars a plate for good food, so the cost is not an issue but don't make me pay a lot for OK food. Best wishes Copper Cricket and step your game up! So I'm super bummed about having to write about my disappointment in The Cooper Cricket Pub. Let me first say, the staff, ambiance and overall atmosphere was fine! Unfortunately the food overall was TERRIBLE! Let's start with drinks. I ordered a Shamrock-o-Rita. I figured it be great because it's an Irish Pub and surely they'd make a good green drink. Unfortunately it so weak and plain and the flavor was really weird. It's essentially tequila, melon liquor (to make it green) and sprite. It was served in a regular tall glass full of ice and the color was a weird clear-ish neon green and all you could taste was tequila and flat/watered down sprite. Take my advice, stay away. Next came the cod bites appetizer (legit the only thing that was remotely edible). They were ok, mostly small bites of whitefish covered In tons of batter. Sometimes I had to take 2 bites to get through to the actual fish. Then we ordered French onion soup. Can't mess that up, right? WRONG. It was soooo watered down and flavorless. Huge disappointment considering it was so cold outside. At that point I stopped ordering food and just sat there pretty hungry. My husband, against his better judgement, ordered the bratwurst with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of peas. He's the type of guy that will literally eat anything and not let food go to waste. He ate one bite and almost spit it out. I took a bite of his mashed potatoes/gravy and it was like eating unseasoned baby food. We were SOO disappointed with the food and on top of that we were starving. To be polite, we sat there and listened to the live music and then headed to another bar down the street. Sadly we took his food home in a to go box to not be rude and he throw the ENTIRE dish away once we got home. I will note that the server was nice enough (not attentive enough though to notice that my husband ate only 1 bite of his food and that I took maybe 2 sips of my very full cocktail. An excellent waiter would've said, "I noticed that you didn't really drink your cocktail or eat your food...was everything ok? is there something else I can get for you? Did you not enjoy it? Etc.). The live music was nice as well. Overall though, we couldn't get over how poor the food/drinks were. read more

I stopped in coming back from Fayetteville to grab a late lunch, early dinner. It wasn't crowded at all as it was only 3pm on a Monday so I don't know how useful this information will be. Anyway, the place looks great. They did a really nice job of converting what had become a dump into a semi-classy, but not stuffy, Irish pub. Granted, it's in a fairly new small strip mall but the owner wants to eventually make it a stand alone pub somewhere else. The service was professional, the food was good, hot and fast. The beer was ice cold and my corn beef and cabbage deep fried wrap was pretty darn tasty. It seems a little on the high side for pub fare but it's not the slop normally found at "bars" in my opinion. I'll go back when they're a little busier to get a better feel. I love Irish fate. Didn't take many pictures unfortunately since I was in a bit of a hurry that day. read more

Burger was okay at best. Fries were cold, when the fresh fries came out I got a Childs portion. Burger was supposed to be medium and came out looking like a hockey puck. To much money for the quality of food as well I mean the burger was lesser quality than highway 55...Also I Waited a hour for my food and there were only 4 other groups of people here and only 1 groups had 3 people. Was pretty garbage service as well Our server was flapping her gums and not worried about us at all which sucks because the place was empty. Didnt enjoy this spot as well as I thought I would considering the ratings are pretty good. Ill will make sure non of my friends make the mistake of coming here. read more

I've been to the Copper Cricket twice this summer. I've read some of the critical reviews and I was surprised. The appetizer menu is interesting- not the same old stuff. I loved the fish and chips. My fish was delicious. A nice cut of fish that was cooked to perfection. The beer and wine selection is excellent and the wait staff have been friendly and efficient. I do not live in this area but visit a family cottage near by. Historically, there has not been much variety as far as restaurants so I find them refreshingly different. This is an okay restaurant for the area. The service can be mixed depending on who's waiting on you. So far my favorite dish has been the lamb sliders. It can get a little loud when they have live music since the dining area isn't really big enough for live music. Had high hopes for this place. We thought it couldn't possibly be worse than what had been in this location before. The inside is so much better, they did a great job of redoing the interior and turning it into a more comfortable environment to sit down and eat. Our waiter was good; friendly and fairly attentive, took and delivered our drinks order quickly. Food took 10-15 minutes to come out. Up to this point everything was looking pretty good, then we tried our food and were quickly disappointed. Fish and Chips: The chips were undercooked and almost mushy. The fish was crispy but tasteless, nothing like what would be served in the UK. Even malt vinegar couldn't save them. Shepherd's Pie: At least it was made with lamb as a shepherd's pie should be (can't take that for granted here in America where shepherd's pie and cottage pie seem to be interchangeable) Unfortunately, it was so greasy that bits of lamb, mash, and peas were floating. Besides the overflowing grease, the flavor in general was just subpar. Chicken Tenders and Chips: Again, undercooked chips, they really shouldn't turn into an upside down "U" when held up. The chicken was overcooked, not to the point of being completely bone dry but not far off. The breading on the chicken had some spice in it that tasted terrible and overpowered any other taste. Overall we were very disappointed, this area needs more good family restaurants but sadly the Copper Cricket doesn't fulfill that need. read more

We've come here about a dozen times over the last two years. The prices are a little high on burgers and such but the quality is usually very good with top notch service. The live music has always been better than expected each time we've caught it. They are a small, locally owned business who are always listening to their customers and striving to improve. I give credit where it's due, but this place deserves very little. Food was cold when it came out. Hostess seemed as if she didn't want me and my friends to eat there. Employees were rude. We were told the kitchen was backed up and so we couldn't be seated. I asked if we could be seated and order drinks, and she told me no. Her reasoning was she didn't want customers getting angry about the wait. She finally allowed us to get drinks at the bar. Bartender seemed annoyed. We got our drinks and sat outside. About 5 min later we were seated and served. Like wtf!? The owners clearly had no idea what they were getting into. They don't know how to run a restaurant. Love this place. My bf and I frequent here often for date night. The copper cricket mule, egg rolls, pimento burger, Shepard's pie and onion soup are some of our favorites. Staff is typically rather attentive and friendly. Recommend for a nice non chain experience. If you like music, most nights someone is playing. I've been going to the copper cricket since i moved here in August 2021 and really enjoyed the atmosphere and most of the service. A couple months ago i had a bad experience with one server completely ignoring me but the manager finished waiting on me and she was extremely nice so i continued to go back and never got that server again until tonight. Took 30 minutes for an appetizer which isn't that bad but when our burgers came out the buns were very stale. The server didn't not check on us. I tried to get her attention but she ignored me and continued into the kitchen. I had to explain to the hostess that are bins were stale and we would like new ones. The server brought out ice cold buns that were stale and not even toasted. I will not be going back. read more

Would like to thank this establishment for such outstanding customer service. I called and asked for special assistance since my wife is recovering from hip surgery. We arrived and had a table reserved for us near the entrance so she didn't have far to walk. Our server Kiera was outstanding. Very promt and helpful in promoting the dinner menu. Again the Spinach artichoke dip was delicious. And sandwiches were well prepared. Its hard to find establishments that truly care about there customers, but you have again gone above and beyond. We had a great time! My husband and I tried the place out for a date night starting at 6:30pm on a Friday. We sat at the bar for dinner and the place was not too crowded but was picking up. The regulars were sweet and made us feel at home, the bartenders were attentive and the food was timely and delicious. We also got to hear some live music. We will absolutely be back. read more
