    Cesar salad was good
    Fetima W.

The inside of this place definitely has Irish pub vibes. I've been here before for a military farewell celebration and it was a pretty decent experience. I can't honestly remember what I ordered. This time I was interested in trying a cottage pie. I also ordered a side Cesar salad, which was good. Our waitress was nice and she was pretty attentive. I ordered the cottage pie with the ground lamb. I was disappointed not only in the presentation of the dish but the taste as well. The gravy was too thick and the dish tasted like thick gravy with mashed potatoes on top of it, and cheese. I have been told there burgers are really good but I have yet to try them.

Definitely came here with some high hopes since there were a good bit of people inside! Unfortunately the food was pretty terrible. My friend and both ordered fish and chips which tasted like they didn't even attempt to dry off the fish. I used about 4 napkins just trying to get it some what normal. We both ordered the Irish cream cheesecake and that was even worse. The cheese cake was terribly burnt and the cream wasn't a layer or anything nice looking, just a spoonful poured on top. Service: our server was super nice, and apologized for the slow service, but she didn't even acknowledge the terrible food and saw how burnt the cheesecake was and didn't care to try not to bring it to the table. Overall I wouldn't bother coming back here, even though it's one of the few places in the area to go.

Super friendly service staff - we asked to watch a particular sporting event and they sat us by a TV and turned the channel to our game. Appetizers - really enjoyed the cod bites and corned beef spring rolls, both were cooked fresh with nice sauces Mains - we had the bangers, burger, and Guinness glazed chicken. All were cooked well and tasty! Great beer selection (including multiple Irish beers) and cocktail menu. Would definitely recommend - we will be back!

    This was $40

This was $40. They used to be bigger and cheaper. We haven't been there in about a year so this makes me a bit upset and hesitant to go back again.

Sorry this wasn't good, I will never come back. Corn beef was dry and fish and chips were small portions for $$$. The staff was nice!

This place has no identity other than its limited seating bar and dark board on the back wall located directly next to the rest rooms. I went there on a Friday evening with a girlfriend, got there right around 9:00pm. It really wasn't busy at all, except for the bar. We stood at the entrance waiting to be seated, and eventually a hostess or server came over to us. She sat us at a table next to the bar. First thing that was told to us - the kitchen is limited/closed. "All we are serving out of the kitchen is deep fried foods. -Really? 9:00pm on a Friday is prime time business action! But okay. So we only focused on drinks. After waiting what seemed like 10 minutes for any server to come to us, the server didn't even approach with waters, so we asked for just two light beers. That took another 10-15 minutes, although we were at a table right next to the bar. I was tempted to just stand up, walk 3 feet to the bar and order myself. Anyways, we stayed here another 30 minutes before getting out of there as quickly as we could because the server just kept taking so long even check on us. The place wasn't busy, no clue what she was doing. It's like she was ignoring us on purpose. I personally will never return to this place and I recommend you save your time and money. It's a shame because this place literally has the chance to be a monopoly! There are not many places to go around here so that is already a win for them. They should really think hard and just clean up the place. Paint, brighten it up, chance up the vibe, bring in Bar Rescue or Kitchen Nightmares and fix this place up please!

She was very pleasant, but shouldn't the spilled half of my drink be replaced? Don't use the QR code to pay!!!! I used it, received "pending" confirmation from my credit card, & manager asked me to let them run it manually because she wasn't "sure if it went through" because their system doesn't tell them. She wasn't polite, but i wasn't really given an option: I had to pay twice because they don't know their own system. I now have two Dugan's charges still pending .... Time will only tell if I'm going to have to take my time to call the restaurant to get them to fix it.

This is an Irish pub through and through. It's a little deceptive as it has a dive bar old pub feel, but really it's pretty clean and polished and most of the stuff in here is new and well taken care of to create the illusion. Which I'm grateful for. The service here is excellent. Go to Aviator if you want to experience a vast difference in service quality (bad). Staff here is attentive, fast, friendly...everything you'd expect. They're also not understaffed either. The owner is frequently available if you have any concerns or issues. He's there to make sure everything runs smoothly and is done correctly. Even when they are slammed they have extremely good service. They have an extensive Irish menu. The fish and chips are excellent as is the reuben. Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, Gaelic Chicken, Scotch Eggs...everything you'd expect in an Irish restaurant and it all tastes good. A lot of people like coming here for brunch which has a different menu. I think on Monday's they have all you can eat crab legs for $50 per person...you order a cluster one at a time, not a buffet. They frequently have bikes nights and you'll see a ton of bikes during Angier Bike Fest. They charge a 3% service charge on the bill...not sure what that is for... Either way, this is a great restaurant one of the best in Angier and even the greater Fuquay and Lillington area.
