As someone who loves a good Irish pub, I thought this place was great. Despite being located in a highly developed shopping area, the place really has the feel of an Irish pub when you walk in. The decor. The chairs. The bar. Everything feels like it was fully thought through. I order a Guinness every time I show up, and it's always served well. The bar tenders are amazing. The wait staff are great. The overall experience is generally good, and amplified by the amazing atmosphere. The place tends to be a bit crowded and somewhat noisy, but there are also areas of the restaurant that are a little more quiet. In terms of food, it was fine. I haven't tried everything on the menu and have generally focussed on some of the vegetable forward items. I'm probably not their target audience for food. What I've had is good, and often has a very Irish feel. It isn't exceptional, but it feels authentic. Overall, I think this is a fantastic destination. I'm biased when it comes to Irish pubs, but I can't think of a reason to go anywhere else if you're in the area.

I absolutely love this Irish pub! They host great events, serve amazing drinks, have delicious food, and the staff is always nice. I feel so at home in any Irish pub, but especially this one.

The service and ambiance of Trali is great. Our server was friendly and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is very rustic and homey, I love the decorations. My favorite item is the Family Appetizer: it comes with Irish Egg Rolls, Potato & Cheese Croquettes, and Scotch Eggs. All of those appetizers are perfectly seasoned and paired with delicious sauces/dips. The last time I ate here my husband and I tried dishes off of their seasonal menu. I had the Dublin Coddle and had to add so much salt in order to really taste anything in the dish. It just tasted like meat and mash in hot water... but I did like it once I seasoned it. My husband had the General Burger and said it was flavorless (so it probably needed salt too). I'm not sure if the appetizers at Trali are just way better than their entrees, or if the seasonal items are just not their best.

Super cool quaint & cozy Irish style pub inside, kind of throws you back to old Ireland. The overall inside seating is not too large. It was cold the evening we went so most wanted to wait for their tables inside which created a little cramped a feeling. The service was decent and our server didn't rush or a pressure us to hurry up and order just because they were busy. Once we ordered our food came out relatively quick. Had the Shepherds Pie and I will say it was flavorful, warm and delicious. Could have eaten more. Decent selection of beers on tap.

NC Local Lamb sliced into a basil-tomato wrap and homemade potato salad

The wife and I have been patrons of this establishment since 2010! The closeness of the staff to each other and the patrons shows true caring. Over the years, the menu has pretty much stayed the same except the specials, that are done seasonally. This night we opt for the North Carolina lamb, sliced into a tomato wrap and potato salad for me and the wife had the only served once in a while jerk rubbed wings. Both delivered! Pretty much everything is made on site. You truly do get a feel for Ireland.

This place NEVER disappoints! The food is amazing. The croquettes are to die for. The service is just delightful. Great place. Can't wait to come back!!!!

So happy we found this place on our way to the airport. I felt as if we stepped into a pub in Ireland. Decor is homey, staff is friendly, cocktails are fantastic and the food is great! They even have Barry's tea which I enjoyed with my dessert. A little slice of Ireland in North Carolina. We will definitely going to make sure we fit this place in on our next trip through.

Service was very good. The full basket came with two large fish and a good amount of fries. It did have a lot of breading but also a good amount of fish inside.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and we had a very pleasant time. Before you go- check to see if there is a rugby or soccer game, we went on a day with a big game and it was packed! The inside was very loud due to the celebrations, we opted to sit outside for a quieter lunch. They did have a limited menu due to the game- another thing to consider if you do go on a big game day. I got the Shepherds pie (lunch portion) that was beautifully made. The taste was good but nothing outstanding, it hit the spot on a chilly day. In my opinion, it got a little boring after a few bites, but definitely still good! Our server was great and attentive, overall it was a pleasant lunch but I wish we had gotten to sample the full menu!

Oh mannnn. One word for this place....amazing!! I went with a group of women from my neighborhood and we really enjoyed ourselves. Parking was easy, the staff was nice and the food was soooo good! I had the egg rolls and a 1/2 plate of salmon with cabbage. The others tried several of the fan favorite dishes and we were all happy. That can be a difficult task with a large group. We stayed for 2 hours talking and no one gave us the evil eye . 10/10 definitely recommend!

    Corned beef sandwich

Rated the number one Irish Pub in NC but the food left me unimpressed. Service was okay but the waitress seemed rushed. It did seem like a typical English (!) Pub so I'd give it 5 for that. I ordered a Corned Beef Rueben which did not have very much corned beef in it. The sauce was overpowering and not a very good flavor though the bread was excellent. I had a side salad, with sesame dressing which was excellent. My husband ordered a Lamburger sandwich with a salad as well and he said the sandwich was nothing to write home about. So food wise very disappointing.

Went here for dinner and everything was outstanding. Hostess/wait staff all top notch. Felt welcomed entire time. We had the family appetizer which was Irish egg rolls, Croquettes and Scotch eggs. For dinner we Lamb burger and corned beef Ruben and everything single bit was delicious. Well Done Trali, well done

TLDR: Typical Irish fare, ideal atmosphere, and great drink selection. Small portions for the price point and slow service. We were so excited to check out this local Irish pub, but left hungry and underwhelmed. On a Saturday evening, the restaurant looked mostly empty. Some parties were dining outside and a few inside. We were greeted by the hostess who asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose inside and I hoped we would be seated in the comfy looking "library" area (to the left of the hostess stand). Unfortunately we were seated squished right next to a large party. There were multiple other open areas for us to sit so this was surprising. A bit later our waitress arrived and took our order. They offer traditional Irish dishes and beer, whiskey, wine, and numerous drink creations. We appreciated how they let us taste a couple beers before ordering. We liked both and settled on the Vienna Lager. The Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen had a lovely clove finish. For our entrees, we chose fish and chips (fries swapped with potato salad $18), Reuben ($14), and corned beef boxty ($14). Although everything tasted okay, it was all very underwhelming. The portions were small, especially for the price. Most of the time when dining out we leave with leftovers. This time we finished our plates and were still hungry when we returned home. The Reuben was so flat. The bread was good, it just needed more of everything. Service was sporadic and slowed as we dined. Our waitress was nice and delivered accurate orders. I believe she forgot to place our to-go order since we finished eating and waited a while for it to arrive then received the check. Another employee (manager or bartender?) brought our drinks. Overall, we liked the atmosphere, decor, and menu selection. The food was just okay and not worth the price. Parking: large parking lot, however, it surprisingly fills up at busy times. On a Saturday evening we found a spot a short walk away.

We're looking for a place to get an Scottish breakfast, appears there's a "brunch" menu / schedule of some sorts. Can someone provide their breakfast info and times they serve? We miss the food, love Scotland and all it has to offer.

Hi, Norm! They have a Sunday brunch with traditional Irish items like Bangers and Hash, black pudding, and boxty. I've went for lunch several times and everything is good. I believe brunch is until 2 and starts at 10:30, when they open. The Bloody…

I dropped by one afternoon to check out this new pub in North Raleigh and I was delighted to find…read morehow cozy it was and how hospitable and sweet the owners, Kevin and Stephanie, are. The decor in The Winchester Pub is unique in the fact that they don't have all the stereotypical, tacky beer signage that others have and the bar is completely handmade by Kevin himself (it's gorgeous). Their selection of beers on tap is primo -- you won't see any of the over-served blah beers of other bars. Instead, you'll find a finely curated selection that boasts a variety of tastes. If you're not into beer, there are also a few bottles of wine you can choose to have a glass of. There's a small selection of canned brews you can purchase from the display case in the front of the pub, back of the pub, and in the refrigerated unit in the rear, as well as cider, spiked coffee malt beverages, alcoholic seltzers, and beer kegs. Surprisingly, there's even some bagged coffee! If you fancy bringing some pub merch home, there are branded mugs for sale. Above the bar, there are mounted TV screens, perfect for enjoying local sports games (especially European soccer matches on the weekends). Plenty of backed barstools surround the bar, and there's a line of round, leather-topped stools along the back wall. If stools aren't your cup of tea, there are two cozy leather couches you can lounge on: one in the front (by the entrance) and one in the back (next to a pool table)! If you're not craving any booze, there's a water cooler in the front of the pub and canned sodas in the fridge (Sprite and Coke). If you're feeling playful, there are couple of board games on the one of the beer display shelves by the entrance (beneath the framed red jersey). I'm more of a cider kind of girl, so Kevin suggested a fantastic, locally-owned cider out of Pittsboro, NC: "Chatham Cider Works Highway 64". It was sweet, light, bubbly, and strong, especially at 10% ABV (so, watch out!). My husband and I both sampled the "Fullsteam Igor Cake" Pastry Stout (9% ABV), which was super sweet. Hubby ended up ordering the "Casita Home Sweet Home" Imperial Stout (10% ABV), which had a cake-like flavor, was super smooth, and not too sweet. No foods are currently served here, but there are some snacks for sale behind the bar and you are more than welcome to bring in your own noms to accompany any drinks your order. From the cooler, I bought and tried: - Brown Bomber Mocha Hard Latte - flavored malt beverage (5% ABV) made with 100% Arabica coffee and milk. It's recommended to shake well and serve over ice. It was soooo creamy, chocolatey, and delicious -- you can't even tell that there is alcohol in it! - Brown Bomber Vanilla Hard Latte - same as the previous, but vanilla-flavored - Sound Craft Rosé Seltzer (5% ABV) - super smooth and tasting of freshly pressed blackberries, I could not tell that there was alcohol in it! If you're looking for a cozy spot to throw back a pint as you unwind from work, you've found the perfect place!

I saw one or two bar patrons eyeing me weirdly, like I was invading their home space. So I decided to just leave.
