Given how close the failure was to the warranty period, I contacted the company hoping they would offer some goodwill assistance or a reasonable discount. Instead, I was quoted between $2,150 and $2,800 for a replacement, depending on the model and horsepower, with only a $100 discount offered. What makes this especially frustrating is that the 1.5 HP pump model they quoted is available online for around $1,150. The pricing difference feels excessive. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about using this company for repairs. I understand warranties have limits, but I expected better customer service and a more reasonable resolution given that the motor failed so soon after the warranty expired.
